Since I am on my 4th consecutive Samsung I expected the A55 to be
Oversaturating the colours by Default but it is the other way round.
For Me the A55 is the winner!

Perfect video from Warsaw 👍But you could have left that rain back in Britain, now it followed your plane to Poland😁🛩️🌧️🌧️. Watching on my Samsung Tab S6 on a glorious 10,5" Super-Amoled screen I would say Nothing 2a was a surprise winner🏆. In some rare cases A55 scored better but overall 2a was better with more natural skin tones and more lively outdoor shots etc. Great work by Nothing. Only their 3rd phone ever and already able to make Sammy sweat! And because they have only 3 phones to give updates, they're able to improve camera on 2a almost with every update, at least according to what I've watched on YT.

A55 surprised me in color reproduction, It did a good job here
Phone 2a on its side is good for its price range but overall A55 is the best choice
While the (2a) looks decent in some situations, I'm gonna give the A55 an edge since the daylight with clouds (At 4:03, 4:11 and 4:15 mark) had better exposure on A55.
Just waiting to see the Nothing OS 2.5.5 update to be on par with that.
The A55 is like always blurry on the front cam. Even in video its way soft.
The Nothing phone 2a has massive issues with portrait mode. The cut outs are all over the place.
HDR seems to be also weak.
Great comparison. Galaxy is the winner. But price wise the Nothing Phone beats the Galaxy. Galaxy can only be recommended for the same price region roughly.
Absolutely agree. For the price the nothing phone 2a is crazy good
A55 wins, but in some situations I prefer NP2a performance. A55 in dual recording lost stabilization. Awesome review, btw, congrats 👍

My thoughts: For the money, both are more than decent, but the Galaxy A55 is a bit too "contrasty," and the Nothing 2a is too washed out in regards to the clouds. The Nothing looks more natural to me in regards to everything else. I have a Galaxy A55 myself and put up a video short on my own channel. I honestly wished I got the Nothing instead. Good video btw!

Are the low light videos and photos better on the nothing 2a?
I prefer Nothing Phone 2's vivid/saturation camera than Samsung A55's natural camera in daylight. In night time, A55 has the advantage but still Nothing Phone 2 has good some good shots.
Overall, I'll choose Nothing Phone over A55 and it feels like same comparison with A54. Because Nothing Phone 2 and A54 have similarities in terms of over saturated cameras.
Samsung fanboy here, i would say Nothing 2a performed way better leaning to bright and brilliant colors but i will not exchange Samsung Knox and longer Android support over NP 2a.

I like the night shots from NP2a. I think with its pricing the better comparison would be Samsung A35 and NP2a.

No microphone. It was all from both phones
The nothing phone has a more natural color tone and much more professional looking
Excellent camera comparison! A55 costs more but the photos are so nice! 😊Nothing 2a doesn't have any of the main apps. Samsung a winner again with their own apps.

The only thing preventing me from considering samsung is the lack of third-party camera app usability due to lack of proper camera2 api. So no mcpro24fps and the like or shooting in raw.

Nothing's camera feels more bright, and natural. A55 looks like if a filter is applied... But noice for both
Nothing phone is just brighter and more saturated, no life to the pictures. I really like the Samsung cause it has a different color tone on its picture which looks eye pleasing also stabilization is better. Thanks mate your video really helped me making my buying decision.

Most likely the daylight sky including the clouds (At 4:03, 4:11 and 4:15) on A55 performed better. I expected (2a) to have the same par after Nothing OS 2.5.5 update.

I agree. Plus the samsung is over saturated in blue maybe it's just me but I prefer the 2a with reds and yellows and being brighter
Samsung wins. Look at the sky. It is to white and bright on the 2a. Samsung is also sharper. But the Macro Mode looks on 2a better.
Just remove the greenish tint on the front camera, and the A55 wins by a landslide, if it hasn't already won by a considerable margin.

@DariuszTech well when you look at them next to each other the samsung video has too much saturation and over exposed blues. It doesn't pick up on pinks, reds or yellows very well. And makes the photos darker than they should be.
That’s a seriously trashy camera on the Nothing Phone 2a. No one should be buying this.

It's actually pretty good. It all comes down to the person taking pictures etc. The nothing phone is due a major software update soon, so the camera quality might change with an update.
