I just put a resistor on the negative to the fan and slowed it down a bit. Done.

I just slowed my original fan down. Put a resistor inline with the negative wire. Problem solved ...no money spent.

After a year, is the fan still adequate as far as air flow?
I've been thinking of replacing the fan in my unit.
