A mostly successful attempt, it's certainly better, I was almost out of silicon, would have used more otherwise. Use at your own risk, my thinking was thermally it's fused on the pcb and at the plug, I haven't had an issue. You'll need headphones / good speakers to hear the hum, compromised by the frequency response of the built in camera mics, and the 'auto gain' feature.

Hello, Iam planning to take a rod that is over the engine which you are loosening one screw around 01:00 in this video. But I can’t see the other end screw to loose and take rod out and in this video around 01:10 you are sipping coffee and the rod has been taken out already without showing taking off other end screw so Can you please tell me how easy it is to take of other end screw or give some tips as Iam not able to see other end screw . Thanks

Did you re-seal the block through the injection nozzles? Ive left this to near the end but had to do before I finish the timing etc and get flywheel back on. Had a mare when I didn't realise the sealant doesn't come with any form of plunger - £50 for 6ml and no plunger - what a rip off. And to make it even worse there was only enough for one side - plus I lost some and didn't get it to come through both sides so I'm going to have to try and put some in the rest via the crank seal now when I get some more. Ive been wondering about using an alternative but done now if it will flow like that loctite. What a mare it was getting it in - ended up having to use finger to force it thru the injection port. Luckily this worked to get it the come thru the flywheel side.

@@justmakeitwork5005 as you added sealant before joining the bedplate u might have been ok using that. In my case it all now sealed so i need an anaerobic sealant. The loctite 193140 only comes in 6ml and seems thats just enuff to do a side. Cos of the incident and soullage i need to go in from the crank seal as well as a full side. Im thinking of getting the kg745 from farnell ive found. Looks to do same job with similar properiies and 50ml to help me fill her up. Concerned im not gonna get a full seal but the though of dinsantling it all again now and need all new bolts again horrid. I was able to push the sealent thru injection port with my finger so ought to be able to do from crank seal too. Almost there - just got the gearbox to unbolt and exhaust manifold. The zorst bolts have become one with the actual brackets and rust and simply not budging so taking the manifold off in place which is hard work in a confined area - hoping I can move it clear to lift the engine. Might fit new manifold studs and bolts cos they are rusty too - full stuff come out on all but one so far! Is it just a case of wiggling engine forward to remove it from the box once all the bolts are out? Do they come away easy!? Never done this before lol Journey of discovery. Hi, I’m running into a 2d06 as well on a n52 325i, did you get to the bottom of the code? I am not sure if a intake boot vacuum leak could be causing it (I’m bringing this up as I think I’m hearing a hissing area from that general area, but idk if it’s real or is just paranoia) or the female connector for the MAF (like you I’ve read online that those could cause headaches as well). Did cleaning the connectors do the trick? Or should i look for those as well?
