Ooooh, so that's why he is on the Necrit's thumbnail lol. I was thinking that Mark Yetter would take the place but Vijay makes more sense, sure, simply because of his mmorpg experience (while Mark has mmofps exp.) Dunno about Vijay much though. I saw him in the dev team roster, but would never think that he could take the top position. MMO is 99% fine then. How much do I have to wait to play as a yordle rat piece of s... rat marksman. If they don't launch the alpha test next day after the interview Imma start throwing hands. 😤 Can't wait for this game, it has all the potential to blow up the gaming space like wow in 2004. If I fuck up irl, I'll just switch to mmo life. 🗿
Hmmmm…a lot of mobile game experience. If they are planning to make their mmo accessible in mobile, then wouldn’t that severely limit the games scope and potential?
Historically it does seem to limit a games scope but I don’t think it’s a requirement. Many of the mobile mmos we know today were developed as mobile games first and then ported to PC so they always felt a bit cheap. Idk maybe that can be different in the future?
IIRC Riot ported LoL to mobile but the game is a separate one from the pc version no? They might do it like that, probably the best outcome to not limit the PC version and get the extra mobile pop.
It’s possible that they do a similar thing like Foxhole or Albion Online: The map itself is huge, but is broken into smaller zones. That way, your device will only need to load one location at a time. Maybe Riot will even make transitions seem less with some case or bridge or a road passage, so when you are going in low-requirement buffer zone in between location the zone you are going to loads up.
What I need in this game is some kind of horizontal progression so if I decide to stop playing for x months, I don't fall behind everyone and need to grind for months to catch up
@@nanopix5305 You are true but if it's mobile many people won't play it, so it's not a matter of living with it, it won't even be a thing, and here i thuohgt it was gonna be a good game

Mobile games is big in korea japan and developing country because phone is cheaper and more important then pc in developing country. In the case of korea and japan, people are stuck with shit work culture and dont have much time so they tend to play mobile game when they commute to work by train. Tencent also own riot and chinese market is all about mobile games. Bro no this is not good. A mobile games director doesnt think the same way an OG MMO director does. Ghostcrawler is such a huge loss. It's so sad no one wants to play his MMO either. Just fucking stay lmao

Damn, Riot MMO is... actually saved !
Now we only need to wait between 1 day and 1 decade to get more news
Copypasta
how is it saved if it's on mobile, thats why GC left Riot, he didnt' want to do that mobile crap!!!!!!!

Star Wars Galaxies was sick! I think the Riot MMO should be loaded with RPG features. You can do anything!
I loved SWG. I actually even played on the private server this last year and it was still great!
his resume doesn't exactly excite me ):
I like to eat snails with milk soda
But he is the guy that Ghostcrawler chose, you just have to respect it.

mobile mmo guy... this is terrible news
As much as I dont like it either, mobile gaming is just something we have to live with unfortunately...

It’s been so long and still no official teasers or anything. I was so sure something would be released around May or June :/
Good thing we are getting an interview this week?
we are getting Necrit interview although because of NDA there is some information that Necrit got that won't be shown for the viewers

But Vijay has literally double the MMO experience as ghostcrawler?
Imagine making videos about a game that has absolutely nothing to show. If the MMO is anything like the LoL community it will die on arrival.
The game is doomed
