The beast that the Scarthane is riding is a wildclaw I believe. He calls it a cat in his death quote (Feed my cat...) and it has the same amount of legs and body structure as the Alpha Wildclaw.

As someone who’s been recently getting into league lore videos, It’d be really helpful if there was a playlist on your channel specifically for things that are up to date with the current iteration of the lore.
The game seems to retcon things semi frequently and I know there’s some videos I was watching that weren’t that far back that mentioned things that don’t seem to fit the current story.
It also makes it easier to get new people into the lore !
From what I know there werent any big retcons recently.
@@itsgonnabeokay9341 I am pretty sure the reason we didn't get any lore last year is cause there is one incoming. They stated that they want one big lore that works together rather than having Arcane, LoR and the written lore be disconnected. So I'm guessing that they are trying to find a graceful way to redcon as little as possible while fitting everything under one hat.

i really hope one of the mainquests or story plots in the MMO is helping ryze find all the world runes or what if the entire MMO is ryze teaching us the ways to become his apprentice to take on his burden of keeping all the runes safe

Also, in targon, one mount that can exist is... the Boulder. Targon, as magical it is, can have moveable rocks and one can serve as a mount, maybe a distant nephew of malphite.

I would love if they add category to mounts like mechanical and beast, some mounts can only be used in certain region only, like you cannot use the Freljord boars in PnZ like that for lore purposes, that mechanics would make me instantly love the game
I would really like to have universal mounts and some region specific mounts such as needing to get a camel for the depths of the Shuriman desert... also I really hope they make sea monster hunting a part of the game and not just spamming them with canon balls
I like the idea of mounts serving game mechanics, in addition to utility. Certain mounts working better in specific regions would be fun, if not a potential quest line used to expand the world building.
Another interesting topic to discuss when it comes to the MMO that I think would be right up your alley (lore related stuff) would be about what characters we are likely to meet as NPCs. As in, what established characters, champions or otherwise, are we likely to meet and speak with in the game.

Maybe we can get info on camavor, or the surrounding regions there'll probably be some neat mounts there.
It will be interesting to see whether certain mounts will be locked behind different classes. Like the Silverwings and Staghorns only being accessible to the Silverwing Vanguard and Ranger knights in Demacia.
Maybe not classes but builds. I imagine a silverwing vanguard and ranger knight would be maybe 2 ways of building a knight/warrior in demacia.

I know many people won't like this, but I REALLY hope for flying mounts. Just exploring the world of runeterra from above in the clouds as a whole, maybe faster travelling if necessary. Riot gives so many opportunities for flying mounts, like 40% of creatures they introduced in Lore are able to fly (Sure not all are rideable). Maybe also a good system for mounts in general (like GW2), means no helicopter mode for flyers like mounts in WoW that aren't dragons from Dragonflight.
Also I hope they make different mounts with advantages in different environments (e.g. sandboards are faster when travelling on sand in shurima, horses would be slower because they would sink into the sand; or the hoverboards are faster when flying in Zaun because the air is too dense for other flyers.)
Honestly, these videos are what keep the hype up for the MMO for me, we need it to be announced soon or get a story trailer or anything at all from riot

An even cooler version of a corrupted mount would be a like quest reward skin that you can apply to any mount, and "corrupt" your mount, as long as it isnt just a recolor, it could be really cool.

Just to say why I do believe we would get Voidborne as mounts, and it's the most simple reason really, they look cool, riot can always make an excuse like kai'sa's parasite and having played wow for as long as I have, even though the void there is pretty much evil and it's only now getting a more gray-ish tone you still get a lot of void themed mounts, I would expect something similar to the uncorrupted voidwing from wow in riot's MMO as a quest reward or boss drop with some explanation as to why you can ride it, loved the video and hope this game comes out before 2030 XD

I have never been as excited about a game as i am excited for this one and its absolutely killing me that i still have to wait years for it
Mounts should function like League champions. You can unlock all base types for free Horse, Bird, Dragon, etc. Though there should be unlockable mount skins that can be bought in the store or earned but like with League it'll take time but be more reasonable than other games.

At this point im fully convinced that Necrit is actually a riot dev working on the MMO and just sprinkles in concepts, ideas and possibly already finished things into these videos. Its like we are watching trailers to certain aspects of the game without even knowing, thinking this is all just "theorycrafting" when in reality it is not. Everything in each video makes so much sense, works so well together and looks so amazing that it just cant be simply theorycrafting.
And yes, I do really like my tinfoil hat!
I really want to own an armoured assault vehicle from Piltover or Zaun when this game ever comes out.

For Bilgewater, I'd love to have a mount of a scaled-up Bilgerat or any of the critters from BMB and the 2015 Bilgewater event, they were cool!
