My last '07 Rav4 was a V6. I just bought a used 2022 Le. I miss the sunroof and the outlets in the very back. My nephew will enjoy my old one it until he can buy a new car or it completely dies.
We bought th 2024 Rav4 LE. We absolutely love it! When we need new tires, we will upgrade them. Best car we ever had and may never get rid of! Eventually we may give to the grandson! Until then, this baby rocks!
Great review but you missed a key feature of the Adventure, which has the higher towing capacity of 3500 vs. 1500 & 1750 on the other RAV4s. TRD Off-Road also has 3500 towing capacity. 🙂 For future Toyota reviews I'd love to hear you get into the weeds a bit and explain what makes their modified Atkinson engine different from other Atkinson engines. Thanks!
If it weren't for the lawyers , Toyota would tell everybody how to increase the towing capacity of the lower Rav 4 trims . As far as I can tell , the only thing they did was make the radiator bigger, put in an oil cooler . I don't see how that increases the towing capacity, same horsepower as the lower trims. My Kia Sedona Mini Van is 276 HP and I tow a 25 foot Panga Boat ( boat, trailer, motor, gear weigh no more than 2800 pounds). I'd never tow that with the Rav 4 Adventure, the Mini Van is much more rugged, stout and powerful than the Rav 4. I'll have the Rav 4 for driving around, to save gas and the Mini Van to tow the boat. I don't see the Rav 4 handing the rigors of towing that big trailer going up and down stressing the frame . No way would I risk damaging a vehicle that cost me $34,500 plus tax.
I thought the one I drove (An XLE had plenty of get up and go. The seats are a little firm but I'm a bigger person and I do fit. Had I not test drove anything else I could have gotten this and been happy with it. I ultimately went with a Subaru Forester sport. But I couldn't fault someone for going with this.
I would use this as an occasional soft-roader, so I wouldn't need all-terrain tires, necessarily. I know those tires are mud/snow rated, but I'm not thrilled with the 19-inch wheels and the 55 side wall height. How is the ride? Do those tires absorb bumps well?
just got mine not too long ago, love it!! Very interesting to see that the american version doesn't have a wireless charging pad like the Canadians version.
@@BigAltimaEnergy719 That's just it I always look for the base models. Cars with screens, push button start or even at a red light the car shuts off and kicks back on automatically is just PLAIN RIDICULOUS. Imagine the wear and tear on a starter? Or when your car is off and you simply want to roll your windows down with a push button start? The distracting screens that absolutely mean nothing, that even protrude out over the dashboard?? Why couldn't the car companies simply ask us what we wanted and why?? I miss the days when one could swap out the factory radio for a KENWOOD STEREO WITH CD PLAYER

I am just not on board with SCREENS....all BS You are right I am OLD SCHOOL, but push button start I have read a lot of on board issues with it saving car companies a lot of money on not having to produce a KEY. issues like the button getting stuck and the driver not being able to shut it off, even car theft and the bandits being able to produce their own key fob signal to start and steal your vehicle. The part about being able to roll down one window in your cat without turning it on, like you said as simple as a double tap ? I will have to see it to believe it because when I rented the Toyota Toyota 4runner I tried that and it didn't work. Each and every time i had to turn the car on and off and that part SUCKED. THE automatic shut off at a light is so ridiculous in saving gas there isnt really a need for that.
RAV-snore. Besides the “Adventure” badge, it doesn’t scream adventure anything. I’ve seen better outfitted XSE AWD hybrids. No rack. No aggressive tires. No widdle wadder!
Wow... no CVT, no turbo!! Toyota, you're killing it... I'm in!! 👏👏👏
That infotainment system looks like they took it out of a 90s stereo system and the only thing missing is an 8 track player.
8 track player? What is that?
@@eniggu dam millennials 😂😂😂😂
I see this as a good thing. I don’t want a convoluted media display that lags and takes six steps to do something basic
@@barneyboyle6933 get rid of your 8 track player and learn something new gramps

i ordered one can't wait to have it
I see you ordered one 8 months ago (at the time I posted this) did you get it yet? Hearing long waits as I place my order for one.
I wish all the rav4s looked like this. I couldn’t buy any of the other trims because I hate the way their front end looks
Toyota Rav4 looking so good!
Love the rav4 prime 302 HP and great mpg

I agree the tires suck regular sweet ties. It’s been an adventure should’ve had all-terrain tires all-wheel-drive to make no sense.

Insane Toyota Ben !! 🖤🖤
Just bought a new one today, in white.
Have to go Adventure or TRD to get the 3500lb tow capacity
Great video Ben! Can you review the 2023 Escalade V SUV Soon??
I have already
@@BenHardyCars can you do another video on it please?
Just got one in Mississippi. Nice car.
Wish it had smaller rims. Hard to call it an adventure when the first thing you have to do is replace the wheels
What happened with the ventilated seats and wireless charging pad, they were removed?
Ben Hardy makes the best videos ever :)
2 questions, does it come with available cooled/ventilated seats? And does it have keyless entry
Yes and yes 😊

Just got off mine is the first 4 hr drive I do on it after a year is a 22 and my but hurts a lot seats are horrible very unconfy
Does it come with a trailer hitch?
Which one should I get people, The ADVENTURE RAV4 or TRD RAV4, need some advice
Which one did u end up getting. Was thinking TRD also if it was worth it.
Absolutely HATE PUSH BUTTON START, I will never buy a vehicle with that feature again....
Key start is the way to go
Too bad most of them come with a button now, unless u get the base model…

Why did Toyota remove the start/stop on and off button?
Because it doesn't have the function. It's awesome.
