Jeff, The next time you are sitting down with product planning and trying to explain the needs of your 136,000 Subscribers, please drop a big hint that the 245 hp Hybrid powertrain from Highlander would upgrade the Adventure on offer.😁
I never get tired of these Rav4 videos! I booked a hybrid xle premium in wind-chill pearl on Dec 15 and it should be here next week, and your videos certainly helped my family and I pick this trim! These videos are always exciting and I appreciate you recording these videos, thank you so much, Jeff!
As the previous owner of mini-bikes, motorcycles, 4-wheelers, 2 Jeeps, and a rock-crawling 4Runner, trust me when I say, this RAV4 Adventure is an on-road AWD vehicle. I would not take this on any serious off-road trail.
Can you recommend a used SUV (preferably 2019 and above model year) with 3rd row seats with low maintenance, and maintenance costs to suit Ontario weather conditions. Thank you.
Hi Jeff. I'm trying to know if the Adventure trim or the TRD trim has an Aluminum undercarriage instead of the plastic undercarriage that Most trims have.
I would buy this over the Rav4 TRD and swap out smaller wheels and better tires immediately. Maybe eventually do a Bilstein suspension swap instead of a cheap lift.
It’s so disappointing that I’d have to spend up to the adventure trim just to get that improved grill. I *really* dislike the current Rav4 grill (that random gap across the top triggers my OCD and I don’t even have OCD), but I like this updated one.
The Adventure is nice except for the ORANGE Trim inside. We have a 2022 Limited Hybrid and I wish they let you get a 110v plug on them. Still overall I rather have a Limited then any other Trim Level.
How does this compare to the TRD Rav4. I figured that when the TRD came out they would discontinue the adventure, but I see they are still making it. They are both off road vehicles and seem very similar. Like what is the difference between the two of them that would make me want to choose the TRD over the Adventure or vice versa. I don't see much difference between the two expect for looks.
In Canada they have discontinued the TRD, because they are so similar and the huge price difference. Actually they de-contented the 2022 Adventure (Smaller Head unit, no ventillated seats) so they can sell more TRD's
@@scottandersonp.eng.5600 Yeah, I just heard the TRD was being discontinued in Canada. It just seemed kind of pointless to come out with the TRD model when they already had the Adventure model, and both are very similar.
@@Ridenour64 oh I didn't know that I'm glad you told me. Part of the reason being my wife got the regular adventure 22 is for the towing capacity. Once we got it we saw the woodland out there and we're thinking dang maybe we should have waited but now that I know that it doesn't have the towing capacity I'm glad we did not wait for it
I don't like the orange accents. I prefer blue, or even green or red, but not orange. Ick. Other than that it's a nice-looking Rav. I'll keep my Hybrid since I don't plan on going off road or towing anything. :)
IMO Toyota should have done better with the Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD. Its not good enough for adventure. Compare Rav4 TV-AWD to something like Honda Passport iVTM4. Or even brake based system like Subaru Symmetrical AWD system. Until Toyota put a proper TV-AWD I would just buy a Rav4 with Dynamic Torque Control AWD on other trims.
damn what a price for the RAV4´s, in Germany the RAV4 starts with $ 47k and end´s up by $ 63k, maybe thats the reason why the sale numbers in Germany or Europe are low? Thanks for the video.
Hi, I was considering a RAV4. However on the RAV4 forums there are videos showing them being stolen in 2 mins using a Canbus Hack. Do you know if Toyota have plans to fix this? Thanks.
What’s the deal with the orange and black Halloween theme interior colors and not having a powered front passenger seat? It’s a nice vehicle but these are deal breakers for me.
Well, Jeff it's underpowered, It needs a turbo just like the CX-50 Mazda Turbo Premium Plus, which is giving this vehicle a run for its money. The only one that's worth it is th ehbrid or the PHEV, period. It has crappy interior and no leather. Sorry, Mazda's CX-50 is beating the RAV4 in the gas powered engine section, that is.
How do you like RAV4 Adventure? Do you like the updated multimedia and safety in a RAV4 2023? Jeff

Very nice looking! Not sure I would take it seriously off roading, but hopefully it would be useful in bad weather and poorly maintained roads.
Thanks for your reviews@ToyotaJeff Reviews. Just took delivery of my '23 RAV4 Adventure and it's a keeper! Love it!!
Oh wow that’s great!!! I’m thrilled for you
OHHHHHHHHHH YEAH!!! IT'S BEAUTIFUL and ride's so smooth. Love, love, love!!!

This RAV4 could not follow a 4X4 4Runner, Jeep Wrangler, or even a Subaru, off-road.
Just like their” racing division”
All talk, all marketing. Thats it
Rav4 gen 1-3 are better off-road than this piece of shit.
You can go to off-road with this vehicle, just change the tires type and rims 16-17 inch max.
Thank you for this honest comment. I was considering this but I don’t want to waste my money on a brand and not get quality.
I love watching your commentary on My generation of music and your reviews on Toyotas😊
Nice review Jeff. I think you’re also a great singer. Keep it up! Happy New Year!
Jeff, I may have a simple mind but I look forward to the day when driving the RAV4 is a bigger adventure than finding the one you want. 😉
Can i put this rims on 2022 XLE premium with the same wheel lug nuts?
I just bought RAV4 adventure2023 in KSA,thanks for your reviews
I love my adventure. Its a great car. 2021
Great review

Two reasons you earned my sub... 1. "Stop looking at my gut..." line was funny as F. 2. This review had massive 'Honey Badger' vibes. Cheers!
I have heard that one of the best reasons to get this trim is for its higher towing capacity because of its unique suspension set up. Is that true?
It has a transmission cooler which the lower trims don't have
@@elbarto4394ohhh, gotcha! Cool feature!

I like the orange accents with the softer seats. Thanks Jeff, Happy New Year!! Your Friend, Dan
I'm liking the sear bolstering they have on the adventure, wish they'd put it on other trim levels.

I have a fever….
And the only prescription is
MORE CAR HORN!!!
(What’s the horn sound like Jeff???)
I’m gonna need MORE car horn!
Good presentation , what is the acceleration 0--60 Mile does it have in the side back sensitive detector.
Aww man I recently got a rav but this one is way better! 😭
Would it be possible to get the fabric seats with the adventure because I really dislike leather
No
I love this review and the energy of it!
In Canada we get the TRAIL edition , the options are chosen for you. thank you comrade . ;)
Woodland Hybrid RAV4 review please and thanks!
Hi Jeff when the new redesign rav4 will arrive 2024 or 2025 thanks for your video take care bye from milton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
That suv looks good
9:18 “That’s assault Brother” 😂
Adam Sandler/Billy Madison line!
Great vehicle, love mine….not worth $38K though. Should be priced in the $33K range
you are amazing jeff 😀 but I ordered the prime 😮
Have you covered the woddland playa
Yep! He did!

Like this model but hard pass on those phony add-on options - $700 for 2 oil changes and $500 for floor mats! Seriously?
Just curious and wanted to know, can we turn off AWD in RAV4 2022?
No
I plan to get this after I get my drive license. Is this friendly to beginners? Seems very big to me.
It’s a good size. Fairly easy to maneuver but also good space, especially in trunk. Compact SUVS, or even a subcompact are great for beginners.
Offer a hybrid version of this!!
They do it's called The woodland

Love my 2019 Adventure. This 2023 doesn’t have many more features then the 2019.
How is it holding up any issues? I've been looking into getting one but I've heard negative experiences with the 2019 rav 4s? Thank you
I love my blue flame 2019 Rav 4 Adventure. Best rav 4 edition is the Adventure. No issues with mines and the driving experience is good.
Thank you sir 😀 it best ride

This is such a great looking small suv. But it's just overpriced when you now have the redesigned Pathfinder with reliable engine and no more cvt.
Niceee!!!
OMG stop looking at my gut 😂
Ugh 19” wheels ruined it for me. Why would they put 19” wheels on an off road model?? Gotta do 17” for off road!!
I feel like we're living in the Soviet Union. when they had to wait years just to buy a car.

You’re very strange guy ! But you love doing this 😅so
Toyota bring back trusty manual gearbox and remove stupid hybrid.
Stupid hybrid good for the gas, and the wallet.
Looks like shitty interior compare to competitors like Mazda and Mitsubishi outlander. Toyota really doing dirty to their consumers 😂😂😂
