Glad to see things got better for you. Looks like you added 1,000 subscribers during Air Venture! Congratulation. Going to watch the rest of your recordings!
So glad you guys are doing this! I attended the air show faithfully, every year for nearly 25 years. Now , in retirement, and following move from WV to N.C., I’ve taken a break from GA and just fly drones for real estate photography. I miss OSH more than anything. Some years, we just go up for the day to get the aero shell Cow poster. Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for sharing y'alls Oshkosh adventure. It's been 5 years since my son and I last attended. Several times, we drove out from our home at the airport in American Falls, Idaho (U01,) where I worked as the airport manager for 10 years. We love spending the week camped out there. Tonight we both watched your video here in Idaho, and really appreciate you sharing with us. Cheers!
EAA needs to create a website where photographers/filmers capturing all the landings can upload their stock footage. Then if possible have it indexed by time taken or by tail number so that pilots getting filmed can later find any footage of themselves they'd like to have.
Your set up looks very comfortable. Glad all is dry. It’s Tuesday where I am already. DTD with Mikey of ‘Plane Savers’ inbound today around noon. Hopefully you catch up with him. Enjoy.
Watching from Rio, Wisconsin - waiting for Camp Scholler to open up...will be rolling in with my 1989 4Runner and teardrop camper. Thanks for the great videos!
Watching from Newport Beach, CA. My son and I are flying in on Thursday. Hope to meet you, Peter. Keep the videos coming and let us know the condition of the field for camping!
Nice footage ! I have a couple of questions for you. How did you get all that gear, large tent, cots, chairs, etc. in the plane ??? In 2015 my flying buddy and I took a 172 to SNF with two small tents, (2 man), two camp chairs, sleeping bags and a cooler and we were loaded to the gills. We couldn't stuff another pair of socks in that airplane. Also, what media are you guys with? Anyway, I liked the video and will definitely watch more. One last question, what camera are you using, it does really nice close ups. Thanks, Bob
Thanks, I’d be happy to answer! 1. We take the back seats out and have a useful load of about 1200 pounds in the Skylane. 2. The only media we are with is this UA-cam channel. 3. We are using a Sony A7s II, the lens and camera are linked in the description if you are interested. Thanks again for watching!!
The Trimotor City of Port Clinton is over in warbird alley. NC9645 I do volunteer work at Liberty Aviation Museum when the plane is in town. Commenting from Fremont Ohio.

Just moved from CA to Spirit Lake, ID. We would have been there this year if not for the move. Always next year, and dinner at Target sounds amazing!
