At 38:18 you wondered about faltering courage. He picked up the trait because he did not enter melee combat. The trait requirements do not consider archer fire as combat so its extremely easy to pick it up on archer generals. Gotta make sure they see a little bit of melee to avoid it.
Hello, my friend. That intro was epic... YawnWoofDog has a very good advice of how to create a general, I wouldn't mind you doing it... Now on the campaign, in the West I see a good progress. That Enedwaith fullstack is the last stand army - finally - and I think he'll go in the only region that borders the last two remaining towns, Gynd and Bregnas, which is Carras. So, I think that the possible retraining of the legendary Numenorean Cohort could send them to Gynd and, after the siege where the last stand fullstack dies, Bregnas is an easy pick. I agree with saving Gondor from the back at the war with Isenguard, but keep in mind that Dunland will also attack, where Morlond is in a disfavourable position. Though this war, albeit very challenging, is necessary if you are to hit into Gondor, thus claiming Tharangrondost, Annulond and Cirith Iaur (very necessary, if you want my opinion on this). In the East, as soon as Gimilkhad is free, his army should be able to get further into Rhovannion, so as to make the full circle around the regions Dorwinion has, so as to limit them in Mornedhel and in the south. Keep in mind that you might enter in a war status with Rhun if you change your allegiance and go against Mordor, thus Strondost should have a good garrison - at the other side, you have your armies marching, so I don't see any possible problems for now. Your economy is ranking up, continue as you do and always keep your eye for possible retrainings before new rectuits, like the 4 Seafearers of Nindamos you have in Caras Pharazon. Have a nice time.
It makes me so happy that those 3 absolute madlads got the recognition they deserved. Here's to many more forging their own path in blood and steel! For the King!!
Modding in Generals is quite easy, All you do is open a file, go to your faction, copy the lines of a existing general, change the name, and change the unit x and y start position. However they only come in at a new campaign. I do not know if its possible for existing campaigns.
You can easily create your own custom generals with custom profile picture, traits, ancillaries, bodyguard unit and even what level of armour upgrades and experience that bodyguard has
just a thought as you are (role)playing 2 kingdoms why not name 2 Capitals for yourself and you can change capitals anytime, but just between these 2 capitals
You might consider selling Ondosto to Rhun: there is no hope of an offensive north of the river any time soon, and your garrison upkeep offsets the settlement income. Dale is finally churning out late game units, and your Dorwinion border is becoming longer and harder to defend. If you turn all of your attention south of the river, you can more quickly finish of Dorwinion and push Dale back to the long lake. Then you'll have some breathing room to pick your next target.
You need to prioritise Spies by building Inns ASAP. Each spy increases culture by 5% per turn so with 4-5 spies you can, within a few turns, reduce public unrest and allow recruitment in captured settlements.
If you upgrade the conscription camp I believe it removes the law penalty which should help with public order and the losses you are suffering from corruption 😊
Hey i really enjoy your playthrough 🙏🙏 now i have an idea, you can make custom general for that care give all the details and traits to that general, i think ot will be mind-blowing. Tell me what you think? ❤
I suggest destroying Endwaith and offering to join and then destroying Isenguard in the west for mordor before you betray them so you cna get enough forces to lock Mordor inside their home territory instead of grinding your way to the exit points of Mordor.
Loving the campaign still watching at the moment thanks for listening to my name suggestions please can you rename Sant Annui to Tarík Gimilkhad and Ilanin to Zádan Karagier keep up the great content
Hey, sorry to ask you this stupid question but how do you switch your archers from range to melee attack? Which button do I have to press, because I'm right now only able to send my archers into melee when they depleted all of their amunition but sometime I would like to send them into melee before they depleted all of their amo
Hold ALT key while you right click on an enemy. The cursor should change from a bow to a sword. And if they have skirmish mode, better turn it off before you send them in.
Merging Gondor and Dol Am seems to have weakened Gondor too much. Why would they do that? While I like the addition of some new units (lord knows some factions are in desperate need of depth) in this mod the balancing is seriously off. Some of these new insanely powered units are cheap and easy to recruit as well? And thats not even mentioning the issues with lore. Not a fan of how much more it breaks the emersion which is such a huge draw to DAC in the first place.
That intro is legendary! This is it's great that you are enjoying the mod as much as we are!
The three members of the Numenorian Cohort were able to tank a catapult shot to the face and survive its canonical!

Everyday the two kingdoms come closer to becoming one
Perfect episode Sir :) i was waiting for it
I have the feeling that this campaign will reach the 50 episodes mark if you want to unite the 2 kingdoms - and I love it!

it can, izzy has done it before in his lothorien campaign
@@aorakisamaragatha37 I've got no idea how. But that would be sick. Ive not watched Izzys lothlorien campaign though.
WHAT AN INTRO, legends will be written about the heroic deeds of the old Numenoreans.
i love the idea of the generals in scripts for V2.. already messaged you to get details and we will work on it !
Haha go inlevelse, riktigt stjärna är du!
I appreciate your work with the intro, it's great!

And with their powers combined, that trio forms *dramatic drumroll here* Captain Numenor! *parody of captain planet theme plays loudly*
Love these episodes!

I feel like the militia garrison at Ondosto is a great investment
I think Carvarad would serve as good capital because of its location - most central of your empire. As far as public order is concerned at least
you know...we could rename the next new generals we adopt in that area with the legendary trio's name

I think we all miss Armchair Gildlorien.

@@starling94 Thank you so much, you rly helped me
Honestly, the western kingdom may as well have the capital
Moving the capital wasn’t cheesy. M2TW just doesn’t support what you’re trying to do. Do what you have to to make that better - even ‘cheese’.
Kan du inte alliera dig med Gondor å ta tillbaka alla deras regioner, hade vart as kul!
Faltering courage is an annoying trait, because you get it if you don't engage in melee. Makes no sense for archer generals.
Somebody mod it
