Great video as usual. Jonathan, you probably already know this but this is coming from a 69 yr. old Grandma. Please back into your great camping spots. That way if you have to make a quick getaway, you can just drive off. Be safe my friend!
I skipped right to the food lol. I don't know why it's so relaxing? Probably something primal about watching fire and food made. And seeing equipment set up. Our ancient ancestors using tools and equipment maybe.
Hey Jonathan! We understand, no need to apologize for making "lazy meals". We love all the content you put out. Cooking in the snow is not fun! Maybe revisit your truck camping setup so that you can cook comfortably inside the camper?
Love all your adventures doesn't matter if it's snowing not snowing and the cooking is fabulous because I am in my easy chair in a warm place and watching it on youtube.
You might look at the Kovea Cupid heater. Made in South Korea, and sold on eBay. About $90.00 with tax and shipping. Many You Tube videos. I have one, and use it for truck and tent camping. About 1/3rd the size of the Buddy heater and puts out plenty of heat for small spaces. It uses butane cylinders instead of propane. Very compact.
Thanks for the water tip for the Adventure Meals, the scenery was beautiful, much admiration to you for living your best life 👍 your cooking videos are great also 👍
Jonathan, thank you for taking me on this incredible journey with this beautiful scenery as you snowboard down the mountain. Food looks nummy!!! I don't think there's anything wrong with lazy meals. Sometimes the quickest meals are the best! Drive safe. Keep safe. God bless!😘
They don't really make a truck back window that opens more than a foot. In an emergency one may be able to squeeze through. One can take the back window out, but then that has its own issues like more space to heat, getting a watertight seal between truck and cap.
You are only averaging 12 miles to the gallon. You may want to service that Tundra. My 94 Dakota with the v8 gets 20-24 . Check your tire pressure too. Great snowy camping video. Enjoy your snowboarding when you can.👍😁
Woah 20-24 with a V8! Dang thats good. I have samr truck as Jonathan but V6 model and best I ever get is 20-21mpg. He has v8 with lift and oversized tires
Snowboarding looks like so much fun. Fred and I would have wrapped ourselves around one of those trees. If it is snowing you might as well as enjoy it. Love the mixture of your freeze dried meals and gourmet cooking. Keeping. it real. Fun video. Mary💕Fred
I just watched your first night ever in your truck at the Walmart parking lot and your bk dinner. So cool to see your still at it and looking at your new truck now! Congrats and be safe out there
I started watching your channel because of the cabover camper and fishing thought I'd probably quit watching when you sold your unit. But I keep coming back to watch every video so far.
Idk if you’ve already done this before but you should do a video with your favorite freeze dried packaged meals. They’re usually pretty expensive so it’s good to have some feedback on it before you buy it.
Nice tip with the freeze-dried food! I'll never forget it. It may make it more of a "well, it's all I got, wet food!" Really... because some are expensive, and they still come out less than (I've only eaten them a few times.) Again, thanks. And well, enjoy the snow... but come on Summer!
I think you mean CO alarm and not CO2 alarm. It looks like you had some fun. I wished I could make one last winter camping trip but alas, I'm too busy. Thanks for sharing!
Definitely get back to cooking.Anyone can pour boiling water in a bag,and eat mush, but hell-I ate MRE’s for years while I was deployed-I don’t wanna see you eat freeze dried salty crap
Bro, keep posting all the winter camping. Living in the south its already getting too damn hot to camp lol. Keep up with the great content , and be safe homie
Great video as always! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 Makes me wish I had a truck and camper to do some camping of my own. Someday. I've seen The Highwaymen. It's a great movie! Really good cast too. Glad u enjoyed it.
I wasn't doing it in the cold. No way. I was gonna sleep in my work van but i found a room i can afford for my last month working in Philadelphia. And ill still be up 5k so im good. But you should really get a small travel trailer to pull. But i guess you love skiing so thats why you in the cold 🥶. Thanks for the vid.
Do you tip gas attendants? I always make sure to keep my tank full before heading into Oregon. Seems like it would feel weird to have someone pump my gas.
@@pnwpaths2925 I agree but keep in mind; you're speak about a state that decriminalized getting caught with heroine lol Rational laws isn't their thing..... really the whole west coast is crazy. But keep in mind I live in Washington sooooo pot, kettle?

I like what you did to the shell. It's looks comfortable and usable. I'm really looking forward to the new camper. Will you keep this new one as a back up? Thanks for a great creative interior organization.
@@JonnyDIY Hi, it is very nice that you took the time to answer Panda's question ... I sure wish that Jonathan took a little time to acknowledge some of his viewers questions. I see how much Foresty Forest values his viewers in comparison. Just an observation
Great video. I was wondering about the CO2 issue until you pointed out the CO2 detector. I have not used a heater yet in my camper shell. I might need to get one of those detectors. Thanks for sharing.
Think you need two carbon monoxide detectors, just in case. That was some awesome snowboarding 🏂 you filmed, especially the scenes weaving in and out of the trees. 👍
Just started following you I love your videos 👍 I live in Arizona but have family in Washington. You always find great spots keep em coming! I love the snowy camping since I don't get to do any of it where I live

Right. Saving those 3 seconds could save a life!
💯. Besides, always listen to grandmas!
I love truck camping videos in bad weather, for some reason, always relaxing and entertaining.

1. Amazed that you can wear sandals in the snow. I get cold so easy. 2. So cool that you clean up right away after eating. I am SOOO LAZY!
I love your enthusiasm about things in general, you are an inspiration to us all. Always stay safe and keep doing what makes you happy in life. 😊 🙏
What he said.
Great video as usual. It's so interesting to watch the different styles of people truck camping, especially in the snow.

Funny that we're watching a winter snowboarding video in the middle of April. Great stuff, as always, Jon!
I have a Chevy Express under a 23 ft. motorhome and even towing a car I get 12.4 miles per gallon .

Really like your video. It could be any type of camping namely truck camping, camping in the back country or even stealth camping in parking lot etc. Cooking part should not be missed. Watching from Bangkok while eating Pad Se Eiw.... Cheers!

When do you get the new camper?
Hi, thanks for asking ... it's good to see that someone else asks questions..🙂
Do you tip gas attendants? I always make sure to keep my tank full before heading into Oregon. Seems like it would feel weird to have someone pump my gas.
in Oregon attendants do not expect to be tipped. Personally I tip only on holidays.
I don't tip for someone doing their job.... got a job that you feel like you are entitled to more than your pay?
Get a better job.

You should take an adventure on highway 22 to toward Bend to do truck camping. I was in Detroit yesterday and it was gorgeous.
