As a non guitarist myself, l ve always thought guitars were girls magnet.
To be honest l sincerely think a lot of guys learn to play guitars so it can get them girls

It's extremely common for musicians girlfriends to be possessive and fail to overcome the 3rd element in the relationship and get pissed off when he even talks music with his mates,most famous rock stars break up with their band over women, Beatles a prime example

Since ceasing to perform with a live band the axe ceased to come out as often, so my wife bought me a nice acoustic so i would still play more around the house.... now she complains that i spend too much time playing/practising/arranging.
And to top it off... she doesn't like jazz 😕
