I think the bigger point is that you know what you like and have the ability to point it out. That to me is a much better place to be in then being a wet blanket in the wind and not having any convictions
The video should be called "15 RULES For Being A GENTLEMAN and A LADY". I think we all can beneficiate from these rules. Just as men, we should be Have our life figured out, be well read educated and informed, be punctual, never get drunk and embarass your partner, avoid gossip, be in good health, etc. Great video! Respect. Unfortunately we live in a very selfish and narcissistic society. We talk the talk but rarely walk the walk ( unless others are watching). Social media has brought out that narcissism is alive and well unfortunately. Be considerate, compassionate, empathetic, generous educated and well groomed . You’re now a great human being. Rare!

I just was writing a response to that part of the video when I saw yours, TOTALLY agree with you! While I do believe some people hide behind the guise of being introverted when they are really shy, introversion IS a real thing and there plenty of social introverts.
Thats why in the video it said, it's like walking, no one is born knowing how to walk, its a skill you learn. So, being an introvert is an actual thing but the video says that you can train yourself to be better at talking with others. Its not disrespectful, it's just a comment. It never said being an introvert is a disease. I am an introvert by the way, and I have learned to have bettter conversations, as the video says introverts can.

This approach has helped me create a well-rounded self that is very adaptable and resilient.

The media appears to highlight people who are macho-- not strong as preferable traits and people who are meek are protraided as weak. People mistakenly believe meekness is weakness. So many men who do not want to be labeled as weak would subscribe to this way of thinking. I know I have. But it's the truly strong who are able to resist this.

They made one of those before this one I’m pretty sure. Titled “How to be a millennial lady. Both my fiancé and I are trying to make a transformation. This is a good video. You should have your woman check out the other one.
Alchemica Blackwood No, the only difference is that fiancé is still a French word but used in american language meaning ' to get engaged'. This video surely didn't seem to help you act like a gentlemen because you sound rude and misinformed. Spread women hate elsewhere.
Hey Alux.com this video was amazing. I think the internet has changed the culture. I was wondering if you where going to do a reverse video for women. RESPECT.
Respect! I still have work to do, and I feel encouraged that although some of my life choices are sometimes out of line, my core values are holding me accountable for improving my standard. Thank you Alux for reminding me of who I chose to be and what I really stand for!
Yes... of course.....+Athan Kosmo - because anytime a man fall's short (starts or stops doing something), it's ALWAYS a woman's fault, right? Listen, when an Alpha man looks at this, he never says that it ended because women just SUDDENLY stopped appreciating it because he knows that women would never stop appreciating what is in their best interest. But to a Beta male, your excuse would make sense because beta males are notorious for failing to reflect inward and instead look outwardly to find another group to take the blame. Here's the thing - Alpha men do not let other people dictate how they behave or who they should be proud to become. Instead, they simply adopt certain attributes (usually attributes that they would be proud of their son's for having) and this way only the people who are worthy of their time and are of the same caliber will be attracted to them. All others will be uninterested and will go away on their own. In other words, they use their chivalry as a way to weed out the unworthy - they don't STOP being chivalrous just to gain the interest of the masses because that's counterproductive to a good quality of life! So if you've looked around and noticed that women CEASED (not seized) to appreciate a gentlemen's manner then it's quite possible that the women you were watching were of less quality than the women you SHOULD HAVE been paying attention to. Just food for thought. Be well.
Not all women, but a lot. I still show the utmost respect to all. I hold doors, speak, assist, even when not required, and I still notice the lack of appreciation. I was once told "you can help me, but you're not getting my number". I politely told the lady "My wife was the one who told me you were struggling, so I didn't come here for that". The embarrassment on her face was priceless, but saddening that she couldn't take some help when she was in real need.
And what do women have to do with your own principles? A gentleman represents excellence because he's convinced by it, everything else is just a "nice guy".
If you are homeless, in poverty, middle income, just getting by, a high roller, CEO, POTUS or the Queen of England whatever you are everyone deserves the same level of respect.
Yes and I'm on a journey of self improvement. For my own sake, not anyone else. My next step is quitting all social media, giving up most entertainment, etiquette lessons and proceed to the things that are too long to list. I am determined to be the best possible version of me and accomplish my goals! Warm regards :)
RESPECT” is something that always had for others but a lot of people don’t seem to like respect in this trouble times but I’m going to keep it within me” thanks alux.!
Well spoken. A good way to develop confidence by self affirmation of being a gentleman. This also encourages personality development. All must work on their few lacking traits. I only disagree with you on the outlook of an introvert. Respect.
Sadly true. Most people just accept it as the new norm in the times but I strongly disagree with it. You think required etiquette classes in all schools might help?
I like her rule number two! I’m gonna work on this one in 2023. I’m embarrassed to say that sometimes I let my mouth talk about things that I’m not the most knowledgeable about. This is changing today.
RESPECT : The culture change because people change itself. Being Gentlemen makes people think its a weakness and people can be run over because they are good even somebody is already taking advantage of being good.
Ladies do too! Gender is irrelevant..the same personal qualities in a male, that must be present and accounted for, to qualify him as a legitimate man..much less a true gentleman.. Are exactly the same degree of personal qualities that must be equally present in a female, for her to be properly considered a genuine woman...much less a lady! Respect, just like trust & love are things EVERYONE must EARN, of their own accord, in their own right..and by their own inner sense of immpecability
Nice work! "Respect!" About the question: "Why do you think the culture has changed?" The only point permanent in life is change! If for better or worse it depends on what we add to it by the actions that we make in our private life. As we can learn with Carl Gustav Jung at his work on Collective Unconscious.
Culture is changing because of the media. See what the #METOO and Feminism are doing to being a man. In the UK some groups are pushing for the word 'Gentleman' to be abolished. #Respect
Alux.com number 14 hit home for me. I can give advice on certain things because either I lost something or Inhave gained something. People take advice for granted because it's free and they don't really want your advice. They just want to waste your time and have you around for bragging rights. I cut those people off. I've been told to stop giving away free advice. Build the company. Gain marketshare. The, people will pay to hear my experiences.
The culture hasn't changed, It's just that the weak have grown in numbers, the strong are in a short supply nowadays. You know what weak and strong means, right.
Number 5 is my favorite 😃😎 Great vídeo 👏 Why have people lost their etiquette? Because there is a lack of standards in society and a lack of love and respect.
These tips sound less like ways to be a gentlemen and more like ways to be good, considerate, decent person period, regardless of if you're male or female!!!
A gentleman is less than 15 rules. He carries himself with respect, dignity, and character. He is also well educated, dresses neatly, comfortable in his own skin, and handles everything with the right attitude based on the situation. Nice video none the less.
As far as to why people have lost their etiquette, I feel that, in alot of circles, being gentlemanly is considered unmanly or "simpish". I think that the rap culture especially has memorialized being crude and / or thuggish.
My Spoken Story 'S really? Its only b-roll, don’t let that simple oversight detract from the quality advice in this video. If they were film- makers then yes this would be shoddy work, but most of their videos revolve around the spoken content/advice given, as opposed to the still images

Been waiting for hours for this notification, I thought you guys are already on a Christmas break😂😂
As usual excellent content
Seems like this should be common sense for most, but it never hurts to watch a refresher video to help you be a better human!
Respect. Starting law school for a second time after taking time off to deal with my mom's death
KEEP PUSHING ‼️🙏🏽
@@marcanthonyferman5725 Thanks brotha. Update: in my third year. Mom passed away right in the middle of my second year, so I’ve built up what I lost and I’ve surpassed the point where my life fell apart.
I’d like to see the video on “how to be a lady”.
They made one of those before this one I’m pretty sure. Titled “How to be a millennial lady. Both my fiancé and I are trying to make a transformation. This is a good video. You should have your woman check out the other one.
Mark McGee Sounds good. Of course now I’d like to see the video - “How to be a millennial man!” 👍🏻
feminists won´t agree
Alchemica Blackwood No, the only difference is that fiancé is still a French word but used in american language meaning ' to get engaged'. This video surely didn't seem to help you act like a gentlemen because you sound rude and misinformed. Spread women hate elsewhere.
Alchemica Blackwood A marriage isn't a currency exchange but a partnership.
I have two sons 6 & 9 and I would love them to be a true gentleman’s in the future. Thank you for the video it was great to listen with my boys.
I claim and attract a perfect gentleman husband into my life right now. Amen.
🧿👩🏻❤️💋👨🏻
Hey Alux.com this video was amazing. I think the internet has changed the culture. I was wondering if you where going to do a reverse video for women. RESPECT.
Respect, Respect, Respect. I sincerely appreciate this video. Thank you for making it.
Respect! I still have work to do, and I feel encouraged that although some of my life choices are sometimes out of line, my core values are holding me accountable for improving my standard. Thank you Alux for reminding me of who I chose to be and what I really stand for!
Respect...
I would love to see a vedio on ,how to master the art of conversation
The crown emoji where did you find it
This art is highly underappreciated. I am astounded that such videos exist on UA-cam! I enjoyed this presentation very much. Best wishes, D.D.
The culture changed because contemporary women ceased to appreciate a gentleman's manners....
Truth ✌...
When women got enough matured ..
They start running behind #gentlemen😎
Yes... of course.....+Athan Kosmo - because anytime a man fall's short (starts or stops doing something), it's ALWAYS a woman's fault, right? Be well.
Exactly right. Feminazis going off on a guy for opening the door for her....
8:29 I absolutely love this point. This is such a problem these days.
If you are homeless, in poverty, middle income, just getting by, a high roller, CEO, POTUS or the Queen of England whatever you are everyone deserves the same level of respect.
How to handle setbacks and rejection in work-social life
Respect!.Saying: It takes a gentleman to teach a boy how to be a gentleman.
I love a gentleman they open the car door for you and walk you to your door and respect you and your privacy
Does anyone else feel like they've been living their life like this unconsciously?
Yes and I'm on a journey of self improvement. For my own sake, not anyone else. My next step is quitting all social media, giving up most entertainment, etiquette lessons and proceed to the things that are too long to list. I am determined to be the best possible version of me and accomplish my goals! Warm regards :)
@@elizabethlovett4318 congrats
@@elizabethlovett4318 i hope you have all the luck in the word bevause you will need it :)
Thank you I sent this to my sons I heard it to the end, I love it thank you 🙏🏽
RESPECT! Thank you so much Alux
The problem with society is that, someone even after clicking on this video asks for a video on how to be a bad boy
You did not explain what the problem is with Society just pointed out someone asked for a video about bad boys so what's the problem with Society?
Just watch HowToBasic. He will teach you.
RESPECT” is something that always had for others but a lot of people don’t seem to like respect in this trouble times but I’m going to keep it within me” thanks alux.!
Respect. Thank you for the free audio book. Much appreciated.
Well spoken. A good way to develop confidence by self affirmation of being a gentleman. This also encourages personality development. All must work on their few lacking traits.
I only disagree with you on the outlook of an introvert.
Respect.
Respect. I am sorry to say the only rule I follow in this is being punctual. People are rude about cell phones. They are intrusive and disrespectful.
Etiquette died because of lower than expected standards. I went to a boarding school and I am grateful for how Inhave turned out.
Robert Lee James Welch How was boarding school?
Respect! Amazing video! Thanks you Alex. But how about a Lady video?
Respect. I don’t think that I’m really ambitious enough to ever achieve some of these thing truly, but I guess it’s definitely more than worth a try.
respect! This was one of the best videos Ive seen from you guys!! cheers Aluxers!
"R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Tell me what it means to me!" Amen.
💪🏽
I might have been late catching this video but I'm glad I saw it today. Respect.
RESPECT : The culture change because people change itself. Being Gentlemen makes people think its a weakness and people can be run over because they are good even somebody is already taking advantage of being good.
Gentlemen need good manners.
Gentlemen possess good manners.
This is my favorite video, it's talking facts that need to change
Nice work! "Respect!"
About the question: "Why do you think the culture has changed?" The only point permanent in life is change!
#Respect
Only Manchurian media would want to eliminate the term gentleman.
There is a media war on men of values.
This is one of my favorite Alex videos by far 👌
Alux.com number 14 hit home for me. I can give advice on certain things because either I lost something or Inhave gained something. People take advice for granted because it's free and they don't really want your advice. They just want to waste your time and have you around for bragging rights. I cut those people off. I've been told to stop giving away free advice. Build the company. Gain marketshare. The, people will pay to hear my experiences.
The culture hasn't changed,
It's just that the weak have grown in numbers, the strong are in a short supply nowadays.
You know what weak and strong means, right.
I listened this this as I sewed my YSL sleeve back to normal. Thanks for more inspiration.
Somebody mentioned what it is to be a lady. In my eyes it would be the same principles.
And yes, I've met women who are like that.
Number 5 is my favorite 😃😎 Great vídeo 👏
Why have people lost their etiquette? Because there is a lack of standards in society and a lack of love and respect.
If this thread is still taking input....the world changed by just not caring.
RESPECT
These tips sound less like ways to be a gentlemen and more like ways to be good, considerate, decent person period, regardless of if you're male or female!!!
#17 wear a watch! #RESPECT
#SHUTTHEFUCKUP!
A gentleman is less than 15 rules. He carries himself with respect, dignity, and character. He is also well educated, dresses neatly, comfortable in his own skin, and handles everything with the right attitude based on the situation. Nice video none the less.
And a quality watch 😆
Respecto🙏🏼
I am a future billionaire.
God bless!
As far as to why people have lost their etiquette, I feel that, in alot of circles, being gentlemanly is considered unmanly or "simpish". I think that the rap culture especially has memorialized being crude and / or thuggish.
True
True
First you have a list about being your own self and now this? Respect Alux!
People lose their moral values because of social media, music etc
That actually happened to me. I don't want that to happen again.
It depends on what kind of music. Jazz (for exemple) can't make someone loose his manner
There is no music that can make someone lose their moral standard.
DEPRESSING ANGRY MUSIC!
Videos like this make people lose their Moral Values. 😏
Why everyone wanna comment first without saying anything important?
Because they aren't important
And your message was important? It didn't relate to the video at all, lol.
@@50shadesofskittles9 you tell me
Respect! Such a great video man!.
5:38 that computer isn’t even plugged in. Complete loss of credibility when your B roll has actors playing with powerless computers.
My Spoken Story 'S really? Its only b-roll, don’t let that simple oversight detract from the quality advice in this video. If they were film- makers then yes this would be shoddy work, but most of their videos revolve around the spoken content/advice given, as opposed to the still images
Gentlemen vanished by the greasers and hippies
I upgraded from suits to T-shirts and Jeans a few years ago and I never regretted it.
Yes suit is not the most comfortable thing to wear out
