Love the series! I think you would benefit from conducting anvil torpedo attacks, that is having two separate squadrons hit each flank so that the fish have a higher chance of hitting targets.
Great videos! Super stoked to have found your channel. Personally, for air attacks identifying feels like it slows it down and you don’t really get a benefit from it. For naval exchanges it makes sense to manually identify but for the air strikes I think it flows better to just let ‘em run in and not worry about that. Keep it up! Would love to see more of this series
The Spitfires look like Mk22/24s in post-war camouflage (which makes sense as the Mk22 was post-WW2). Pity about the historical inaccuracies - there's no way you'd have Lancasters - more likely to have Bleinheims, some Hudsons and maybe a squadron of Wellingtons. Strange that you have Tripoli and Tobruk in 1940 but not Alexandria.
Still, lots of fun watching you play, hope you play it through to the end.
The 109s are 109 V5 prototypes and there are Wyverns and Do 335. Looks like they took the model from World of Warships unfortunately
You forgot that somehow, the germans get Gearings. In 1940. You know... an American destroyer class from 1945...
Starting to see why we may not see Wolfpack play this mod.

7:11 Yeah, Definitely late war, longer nose, clearly a Griffon engined spitfire, should still be Merlin engined marks at this time. The full bubble canopy makes it even later, 1945 at the earliest, possibly even post-war given the lack of camo. (edit, also Spitfires were NOT available for Malta this early in the war. When hostilities started all they had was a handfull of old Gloster Gladiator biples that had been left behind before the war in a warehouse and forgotten about. They SHOULD have gotten some Hurricanes by now, but they've got a good 18 months to go before the RAF gives them any spitfires.)
But the Bf 109s are somehow even weirder. Why have they got RADIAL ENGINES? Thought it was an FW190 for a second, but it's definitely a 109 airframe.
Yeah the wings and fuselage are Bf-109 and the front section stolen from a Ta-152. I guess we ca call it Frankenschmitt 😁

4:38 Yeah, that's wrong. About 3 years early! That should be Italian teritory. The Lancasters also are time travelers, they don't enter service until early 1942. The PROTOTYPE doesn't even exist yet! The Desert airforce was tiny at this early stage of the war, and mostly flying whatever old junk could be spared from defending the UK, and strategic bombing over Germany. We're talking Blenheims at best, and Vicker's Valentia biplanes at worst!

Great job! There may be no use trying to be historically accurate in the gameplay, as the game appears to ignore history. Tunis was Vichy French, Tripoli was Italian and the main British base was Alexandria in Egypt. The main Italian base was Taranto, in the boot of Italy. Historically, at that point in the war, most of the naval action was in the Central and Eastern Mediterranean. Just saying….

The Spits can fly upside down without the engine coughing out. That’s pressure carburettor … way after 1940
first only 3 swordfish for the cruser was bold but dumb should have had more as all three could have been shot down with so few
2nd i think there mrk 24 spits so yes late war
third i recommend useing the swordfish to hunt merchant ships and submarines as thats what there best at for subs use a mix of depth charges and rockets
Next you don't want force H in a line ahead a circular formation would work best as it would protect the ark Royal from submarines and aircraft
Thirdly I don't know if it's still a thing but apparently the Clemson class destroyers that you can get her only one command Point each they'd be perfect for a large hunter killer group
I gotchu, ill use swordfish and Beaufighters to patrol the central med but the swords have shorter range. I’m hesitating to use US ships and aircraft bc they’re not technically in the war yet even though I can spawn their stuff
@@TrenchFry farpoint with the swordfish having such short range but you can use long-range bombers to patrol areas for you just put one out without any payload and you have a lot of range to play with as for American aircraft and ships while some may have roundels and flags that you can't change there are still plenty of options such as the Clemson's that were given to the British as Lend-Lease so you wouldn't be breaking any historical accuracy by doing so and well I don't know how many there are if you can find any Canadian ships I would greatly appreciate a Canadian task force as often times I feel like my country doesn't get represented a lot in the military anyway good luck with the rest of it and happy Hunting
2:30 The word youre looking for is "stern". fore and aft are directions, as are port and starboard, while bow and stern are parts of the ship

this entire campaign seems to be modeled for late war despite being set in 1940
I actually did get that feeling. Kinda breaks the immersion but Im still gonna try and play despite it

What nonsense, is the Axis already using the ME 262?
In the summer of 1940 after the capitulation of France, the British had no access to the Mes el Kabir, Tunis and Tripoli bases, so it would make sense not to use them.
If a ship class is called Hunt (1942), it should not be used in 1940...
