Way off topic, but thought I woul ask...Do you know of a filter on google earth or other platform, I can filter the debth of the oceans? If you notice off the coast of California, for example...There appears to be river beds in the ocean that end around the 14000 foot debth....So, if the oceans were much lower...there would have possibly been a land bridge for people to make it to the Americas much earlier in human history.....Just looking for a filter to overlay with opacity the 14000 foot debth..Thanks Randy
To the creator. Not sure where your from. I found it funny I looked at that lake and seen the sewage lagoons just to the Northwest of it and thought wow that looks like Elkwater lake. Then you zoomed in and it was! We build maps of small lakes, dugouts, and sewage lagoons so this was an interesting video. Always looking for new ways to present images to clients.
I have a question for you how did you get your maps to save from the site aep.alberta.ca/forms-maps-services/maps/prairies-area-bathymetry-maps/colour-bathymetry-maps.aspx to a jpg I can only get it to a PDF?
You can also use GEBCO GRIDDED BATHYMETRY site . Select the area of your interest then click to give you a netcdf file. U can then download Panoply its a software from Nasa to easily open such products.Export your product as Kmz file. Then you can search google on how to change a kmz file to a kml file. And its ready to be opened and its also on the correct location

I used to live in Alberta but now in BC.
It is indeed Elkwater Lake, but I've never fished it :)
Thank you, it was helpful :)

I actually just took a screen shot of it on my laptop or smartphone which saves it as a jpeg!
Where do you get a bathymetry map of your lake?
Mary Ann Stoll that is the hardest part!
Try the Anglers Atlas website:)
