This was hilarious! Thankfully, I have none of these items in my closet. I have even resisted buying an ugly Christmas sweater because the idea of buying something deliberately awful looking that I will only pull out once a year makes no sense.
I just pinned some tinsel adornments into a plain red sweater when I was pressured into swearing a Christmas jumper. Took them off when I went home

Bonjour Menar - I absolutely loved doing that type of video and it gave much benefit to many they were however hardly watched at all. I would love to do more on the positive impact style has on one's mental health but it may have to wait until I can get more people onboard to watch them 😘 any ideas would be very welcome 😘 @michelepaiva was delightful to work with and fully qualified to discuss the topics she does ❤️

I completely agree with your assessment of these items!! I am from the midwest area of the U.S. and we tend to be more casual than other places, but I would NEVER see any of these on the street. And I would never wear them. Thank you for the entertaining video.

Could not stop laughing all the way! Have to let you know that decorated Christmas sweaters hold a special place in parts of the US, and some families hand down pretty vintage models with fine workmanship.

The ugly Christmas sweater parties here in the US are fun ! However , when out & about during the holiday season , not at a definite " ugly sweater party " , I often wonder if the wearer is trying to be funny or if it's just misplaced bad taste ? ! So , to err on the side of caution , I don't comment on the sweater at all . 😂

We were at Christmas eve mass and two young women sitting in front of us, I am assuming they were sisters, one was wearing those shorts, I thought I was seeing things, they were underwear at mass😢 The other sister had the micro mini skirt just as short as the underwear 😢

This video is a GEM - thank you so much for the laugh, Madame MarieAnne! "Where do the sequins go when they fall off?!" (VERY valid question and one that might keep me awake tonight!) "Now we know where snow tires go to die!" Exactly what I have been pondering for ages! The storage skirt, though - that had me wondering if it was the result of a hidden collaboration with IKEA. The IKEA Kallax shelving system is a bit more neutral and can be dressed up - which so obviously is not the case with the skirt, but in essence, the principle is the same for both the skirt and the book case: storage! Thank you so much for making this video! I have no idea how you managed to find such ridiculous items of clothing, but I am so happy you did!

Thanks for a good laugh Marie-Anne. I was worried you would name some items in my closet, but I am safely in the clear. The only item I considered buying was something like the ridiculously tapered pants (I think this is the same thing as barrel pants?) but I'm pretty sure they are very unflattering because of the way they pouf out where I want my legs to look slim.

I agree about everything, except the Christmas sweater. Actually, the one you showed wasn't bad at all. I've seen so much worse. My Christmas sweaters and turtlenecks are fairly tame, but I'd wear a tacky one just for fun. There's a time to be classical and a time to goof off. I think the key is knowing the difference.
