I hope we might get something like this sometime soon in the United States. Kudos to you, Welt, for such an exceptional product!
Have you seen the interview of Coaster Studios of the designers of RTH? They really didn't expect that it would turn out like "that". Riding it for the first time really was a surprise, and they said, that they thought they were at the limits of a spinning coaster like that, but now they know, that they can push it further. That's why the waggons have a magnet brake in the base, because they wanted to keep control, to dial the extremeness in, in case that it would be too heavy, because they really didn't know how it would turn out. But now it runs with the brakes turned off, the magnet only is used for a gentle push at the beginning, but then not anymore.
Fantastic documentary for coaster enthusiasts and engineers alike! The precision in coaster design and construction has always blown my mind and I can’t believe I’m only just finding out that adjustments are made by jacking up the supports!! 🤯
It's my favorite rollercoaster! We visit regularly with our season passes and I always ride it multiple times. Considering how crazy this rollercoaster is, it's even more crazy the queue is never too long!
@@F.Castle93 I am referring to the power tool used for tightening the bolts at 12:12 (For me, a drill is used to bore holes.) Whatever you call it, this is still a heavy tool which, if dropped, could seriously injure anyone below.

Plopsa became famous in the entire world because of RTH, when someone says the word "plopsaland" it's the first thing that comes to mind. They should be very proud of their masterpiece and should have valorised it till the end. But instead, they decided to make a choice that goes in the exact opposite way. Making a coaster with the same model, same theme, in a better and more affordable park (holiday park, in the centre of Europe) and they even say "with a more spectacular layout". Now, what's the point of making a slightly better version (I don't think it will be better anyway, for me more intense doesn't mean better) in a more convenient park? You're undermining yourselves by doing this, not only because plopsaland will be penalised entirely (why should people go in a family park in the middle of nowhere when you got a better option in a better and nearer park?!) but also because RTH will be SMASHED by the new ride. It was really an icon in the coaster world and it will undeniabily be forgotten. I mean, for me it's ok to have another Extreme spinning coaster in Europe, after all it was really well accepted, so I could see some parks thinking about it. But man, I didn't expect this by the SAME company of parks, and I didn't expect that they're gonna copying also its theme. It's going to take away everything, EVERYTHING, from that masterpiece. And I say this because I don't see coasters simply as "machines that give you adrenaline". This specific ride isn't just a coaster, it's a work of art, the engineering, the theming, the experience... everything of it is pure art. And copying the elements that made this ride so special, means decreasing its value. That's why I say that something completely different would have worked so much better, because each of the two rides would have kept its uniqueness without damaging the identity of the other. If they really wanted another spinning coaster, at least have the originality of changing the theme, without wanting to do something better. At this point I really hope the new coaster won't have the same elements that made rth iconic (such as double inverting dive loop, top hat, jojo roll and the two final bunny hills). Otherwise, it's gonna lose its magic forever.
Amazing ride, so far I've ridden it 39 times (once 10 rides back-to-back). It's an amazing ride, but it can be very intensive or just boring, depending on the ride. It is however an amazing ride, but I'm still not sure if it was the right choice for Plopsaland (seeing that it is mostly a children-oriented park, the only other real coasters of note are Heidi the Ride and Anubis the Ride).
Yes, that's the thing. We all would like a park with RTH, Taron, F.L.Y, DC Rivals, Hyperion, Shambhala, Schwur des Kärnan, Wildfire and so on in it. Ideally all with the theming level of Europa Park and Phantasialand. But every park gets a good ride here and there, so you got to travel around to see them all.
Sorry, but "boring" is the last term I would use to describe this coaster. I went there last week and omg... it's true that every ride is different, but this is a plus, not a minus, and none of the rides I had was not even close to being boring! EVERY ride was so awesome, everytime I laughed so hard, and some of the rides were even more amazing than the others!
@@aridaje4345 There's a wild variation in how your rides can be. It can be incredible, but I had a few rides that were just boring, in comparison to the craziness that this coaster can deliver.
@@kevinpetit3869 idk when did you ride it, if you rode It in the winter it may be a little slower so I get your point, but otherwise there's no way a ride on it is boring. Never. Because it doesn't matter how much you spin, the ejector airtime is by far one of the best in the world, and the inversions (ex. double inverting dive loop) as well, without mentioning the drop and the launches. For me, there's not a single flaw in this ride. And the wide variation in the rides is one of the many reasons why this ride, for me, is perfect.
