Marvelous little video. You two did a great job. I've got 13 interior doors to do for our house. We're going with six-panel, Jeld-Wen Composite for most of them and we were going to contract the job out. After watching your video and the cool tools from Ryobi, I'm going to give the job a try myself and at 73 years old, it's not something I'd normally even want to do. Thanks again for the information and inspiration.
Thank you, enjoyed watching, shall have to get some those Ryobi jigs, they look really handy, especially being able to line up the latch mechanism with the strike plate so easily.
Best video on replacing door and cutting for hardware! We are getting ready to do the exact same process. Thank you for putting this video up, it's been a great help to us. Oh, and I'm glad "you have a nice clean hole"! 😂
Thank you, I was in a bad situation, through anger broke my door and knew I had to buy a new one but wasn’t sure on the process of the holes thank you for showing me this :)
I’m not a fan of ryobi tools, but that door install kit is a nice setup for a diy project. A lot of thought went into that set to make it all so user friendly.
I believe that was a circular saw you used to cut the bottom and top of the door? What was that attachment to it? And did you have to glue both ends when trimmed it?
Now I know what to ask for Christmas... Does the door latch install kit/tool work on MDF door frames? I noticed some of my trim is a mix. I tried doing MDF once, and found it difficult.
Bah I answered my question somewhat... this only works on the door and not the frame. Some of my door frames are MDF and difficult to work with, to get a nice strike plate install.
This was a great find and perfect timing my product next week is to do 3 doors to old frames love the gig for handles going to get that but its chisel and hammer for the hinges my budget won't go to router and the other gig , so happy I found your channel going to binge what see if there are some more gems awaiting me, . Take care everyone 😉

Buy the doors closer to the right size and you won’t have as much work to get them in.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video, hope you are doing well, even after 3 years of this DIY. Thanks
Great video.

just picked up the ryobi hinge jig. pretty cool stuff
Wow, those are cool tools for the door. Make it so easy. Thanks for the demonstration.
I just bought doors for my 1st floor. I'm hoping I can handle installing them myself. 8 ordered that ryobi door latch thing to help.
I just purchased these tools. They will make my life so much easier.
Best door install video ive seen on UA-cam to date ...great job
Absolutely AWESOME video guys. You saved me a headache and a lot of wasted time on instructions lol. Stay safe and be well
Nice DIY video on door slab replacement. Pre-hung is nice but most times it's too much worry of destroying trim or what not. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the great details

When getting a measurement for your hinges on the new door, did you just go off the old door? Or line it up with the door frame?
Nice video thanks. Question what tools do you used ryobi to make the little hole side. Thanks again
That Ryobi kit looks good. Well done. I may have to invest. 👍🏻
Fantastic job with the doors!
Thanks Lynn!
A pleasant video that was helpful. I gave it a thumbs up also subscribed. thx

Awesome Video! I am about to tackle 7 myself and this video will really help.
Those Jigs are awesome. Thanks for showing them off. Good night Madie. 😴
That they are Gary. I was pretty impressed.
Great video ,real life no silly music ,and very helpful
It would be nice to see what the router cutter looks like in the jig and in the router.
Nice job man
the bird was just happy
Looks Good.
Best video yet.
Thanks a lot Nathan!
Great video. Many thanks!!

Lol it’s been a year, but that’s a Kreg RipCut, if you’re still wondering
@@EricLS better later than never..I've not done this work yet but this info will help.
How many doors did u get done in a day ?
Thank you for the video. Nice work, I was going to pay 60 dls per door I think I'll just buy the tools
THANKS!!! MY NEXT PROJECT IS ON
Great real life family video
Nice job, you save my life, LOL, didn't know how those tools work. Can I ask where do you get the door knobs??
Nice job... yes those tools look very skookum.
Thanks Clay!
Skookum?

Yea if the door frame is damaged I would just pull it out and replace the whole thing with a new pre-hung door.
Noisy bird. Was louder than you! The cutout tool for the plunger inset worked great.+
Come to find out, that bird had a nest under the deck right below us.
That is funny.

Where do you get those tools Home Depot?
yes homedepot sells the ryobi door jigs
How long does it take to complete this job?
2 days to paint the door and 1 hour to install.
That's great but most people replacing a door won't have a jig or router so I'll look for ones that use wood drills and chisels . Great work though
Great vid.
Why not use solid doors instead of the cheap hollow ones?
Weight and price.
karma got you for throwing something at the bird who disturbed your stardom on UA-cam
Great review of the jigs, thank you!
Ok, here goes!
You never said what the width was. Thanks
yous have a beautiful family cheers
'you got a nice clean hole'
You should have had your Dentist help you out with the door. He can bring his drill too!
Nice video, but the music is loud & annoying !
Nasty!
Gotta love MDF
10:41 hahahaha
that lady looking over my shoulder, would make me angry.
Beatiful voice girl....
