I know people dog on the effects in these movies looking aged but god I can't help but love to see all the attention to detail, personality and emotion put into the CGI characters in these movies.
What I give the prequels credit is showing us this bigger world than the original films did as I feel the point of star wars is meant to show these other worlds and planets based on real life Culture and home styles as I feel that what George lucas was always aiming to do
It's a reference to his origin as a member of the "lesser" Geonosian caste: the workers. As such, his accession to Archduke of the Stalgasin hive was notable; he did this by ousting and killing his predecessor Hadiss of the warrior caste. It was rumoured that Poggle's staff was created from part of Hadiss' corpse.
Man, this is absolutely stellar sound design work here. Reversed vocal sounds, Xhosa clicks and some kazoo-like noises mixed and jumbled up in a near flawless and fluent combo that sounds like actual alien speech.
I love his clicking sound when he’s speaking

Why is the Geonosian language SO satisfying to listen to?
Someone should make Geonosian language ASMR

Geez.
Why can I see Poggle being a mortician in his spare time and this being a regular occurrence

Basically it may be dated, but it has detail.
Fr it's honestly the story plot that's the best part to me the graphics are just hilarious eat tiems though
These effects are actually what helped the prequels give their charm.
Sounds like how a cockroach would sound
I need to talk like him
Omg they sound like cormorants
huge weapon weapon.
if you know, you know.
Loved his expansion on the Geonosian language.
Same. poteko poka 4ever, m8.
You really watched that video
I’ll always consider that interpretation of Geonosian to be the definitive: it works far better than what the official subtitles said.

One of the dumbest characters in Star Wars, right up there with Nute Gunray & Jar Jar Binks!
Lmao those are the best characters. Right up there with Glup Shitto!
