- This week we're joined by Danyl Johnson. In 2009 Danyl appeared on the UK’s X factor, and blew the judges away, with what Simon Cowell said was ‘single handedly the best first audition’ he’s ever heard. Danyl went on to come fourth, and his appearance on the show wasn’t without its controversies… He’s now one of the faces of the People’s post code lottery, which he says is ‘the best job in the world’, dishing out cheques for upwards of 1 million pounds to houses all over the UK.

Great Show , I am in Canada, just happened on to your channel and am Binge watching ! I am an older Gay Man & when Dantl Johnson mentioned how Difficult it was to be Gay or a woman years ago , I applaud him to realize it , as I don't think especially the LGBTQ youth have a clue what it was like even 40yrs ago ! Great show !

I actually understand what he’s saying about music in a general sense. I felt so connected to everything that came out from ages 10-24. Slowly after that, music, it felt like the quality started declining. And *most* of the music I listen to now, is older nostalgic music. There are exceptions and I do enjoy Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Victoria Monet, Snoh Aalegra and a few more. But that’s nothing compared to the amount of artists I enjoyed 20 years ago. I just have to accept it’s not *for me* anymore. Most artists I check out today are so disappointing, but they are still successful. So SOMEbody is into them, just not me.
