In France we call that "Se monter le bourrichon" that is perfectly all that, and means "bad brainstorming mental madness with several people". Anyway. They make pity, but in bad way! A lot of people are infantiles, lost, proud, and totally out of reality! Scary!!! That is almost disgusting! Why call mercy? It is not a social contest! Even starving homelesses have more self respect and don't doing that! And them it is for life or death, eat or not! Damn! This show is an asylum, and a lot are close to stupidity and retarded! Intelligency under regular!

In Emma’s audition her mother says “we have just pushed and pushed and pushed her” and then to Simon she does a full 180 and says “we’ve not pushed her” and that’s the most annoying thing about her parents attitude

"Coined in 1999 by then-Cornell psychologists David Dunning and Justin Kruger, the eponymous Dunning-Kruger Effect is a cognitive bias whereby people who are incompetent at something are unable to recognize their own incompetence." It's amazing that it is so prevalent as to be actually recognized as a psychological state!
And I do think it is also probable that people who ARE gifted, talented, intelligent, good-looking etc. very often do not recognize their own abilities or gifts. It all has to do with self-esteem. You can have way too much or not nearly enough.
These auditions are not something to be liked, but understood from an academic perspective!

I don't know why anyone tries to sing "My Heart Will Go On" on any of these shows. Almost nobody can sing that one without sounding like they're just yelling.
Saying you can sing like Freddy Mercury is another bad sign. Michael Jackson: NEVER goes well. People rarely pick more obscure artists that they wish to sound like, or people w/realistically-achievable voices (like Tom Waits).
I could tell Rachael had an attitude before she even opened her mouth. The facial expressions, the preening, the inappropriate attire. She's a "look at me" queen who thinks she's "all that".

Yes, but surely she doesn’t think she has a chance up against youth, beauty, good voices and personality. There are many venues where she could have her dream of performing in public, such as community choirs. The idea of being a celebrity is more important than being talented.

Whoever selected the back music for each contestant is kind of a genius. It's right on point with the person attitude and an overall humorous ambience, even setting the mood according to the candidate's age often times. Really amazing job.
I love watching Sharon - she's the only one who acts interested in the singers and tries to lift them up without laughing in their faces !!

I stopped watching the bad auditions compilations when they had people audition in front of a live audience. I tried, but it wasn’t the same. So much more fun when it was just in front of the three or four judges. And once Simon left - forget it. (I’ve never seen the actual show; I just love the bad auditions!)

The best part of all of this was the judges realizing they wanted Louie back! Louie brings a happiness and sillyness to the table that literally flows through with the other judges ... You can see the difference in all of the judges IMMEDIATELY! Their more relaxed and more into the role of judging and having a good time and laughing while doing their job. So happy to see the other judges admitting that they needed Louie back! 💖
Louie is overrated. The show would be fine without him.

That fiancee is a POS. He was thinking about the money he could be leeching off the woman (if she got into the competition) MORE than the safety of the baby and the mother. He reacted worse than the woman, which showed us everything.
