      @@Trashman2111 it’s a conjugation game they have for when they start introducing cases in German. “Du hast” IS ‘you have’ (if you’re informal/ with family), but also sounds like haßt, which is hate, and in... nominative... I think, because it uses ‘mich’... it’s been a while

      @@joannaanna9850 The hurdy-gurdy? No, European in general. France, Spain and Germany and later to Hungary, Poland and Ukraine. It was popular during the Renaissance, died down a bit when the nobles considered it "low class", then had a revival in the 18th century.

      The church would have seen to his immediate execution. Only major chords were allowed, and even then, only certain progressions. But for the few who would get to hear him, it would probably be pretty epic.

    Honestly in the original I never realized how beautiful the melody is. I guess it is overshadowed by Till's voice and some of the instruments they were using. Very nice.

      Wow it's so hard to see ur language around I love it I grew up speaking it but ended up forgetting how to speak it but I'll never forget how to read it. Being in the US kinda sucks when ur bilingual if u have no one to speak to u end up forgetting. I wish I could relearn how to speak this beautiful language. Hope u have a good day 😊

      @@SehlraC I've always lived in the us sadly I only kn different languages due to my older generations of family speaking it while I was a kid. I used to speak 4 languages now I only speak 2 due to having no one to speak to.

    MAN I've been obsessed with Renaissance Festivals since I was a teenager which got me into loving anything with that medieval vibe which got me into loving old timey instruments and music. I'm so damn pumped to see things like Bardcore being a thing and even stuff like Cottagecore. I feel less weird and outcast seeing this stuff blossoming and seeing others gleefully enjoying it.
    Du Hast was my favorite song when I was 14/15. Hearing it in this style is so fucking COOL.

    Wow. That's probably your best piece so far. Your other stuff is good, but somehow this song is on another level. I quite often listen to Vox Vulgaris and other early music bands and I think this piece really nails the feeling of the more energetic pieces of medieval music.

      Good news! Neither of those flute-like instruments are recorders, the long one is a low tin whistle and the other is a flabiol. They're actually theoretically easier to play, too, because they have six front holes instead of eight like a recorder, so if you wanna get sexy with it, go getchu a tin whistle ;P
