While we never had any virtual console games for switch, the closest we can get that we received so far are Arcade archives (Nintendo games), Advance wars 1 + 2, Paper Mario thousand Year door, Mario vs Donkey Kong (Remake), Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, Miitopia (The 3DS remaster) Skyward sword HD, Pikmin 1 + 2, Super Mario RPG (Remake) Kirby return to Dreamland deluxe, Links Awakening, Metroid Prime remastered, Super Mario 3d all stars (physical version) and A bunch of other third-party retro video game collections. Which is pretty dang impressive
I mean I do have some physical copies of Wii, GameCube and DS games so I would prefer not to have those on Switch Online maybe they could add Sonic 1, 3 and Knuckles and other add ons like Blue Sphere, Knuckles in Sonic 2 and the standalone versions of Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles
For the wireless Wii Remote, just take out two tall and slim candles, light them, and you have the make-shift sensor bar needed. My brother did this because of the infra red light signal between the Wii Remote and the Sensor Bar was needed, and we weren't able to connect the sensor bar to the Wii at the time for whatever reason, so that's how I know candles work that way

I always thought Nintendo would make a killing if they rereleased a bunch of DS,WIIU,and 3DS games at a fair price,and made an option for a second screen connecting a Switch lite to a docked Switch as your second screen.
i just wanna add something about the pokemon games, because i don't think they're happening this year, if they ever happen. they'll need to be able to disable rewinding, suspend points, and cloud saves just for the pokemon games and not for any of the other ones to prevent pokemon duplication, and they'll need to add pokemon home support. rewinding and suspend points is probably doable, pokemon home support could be possible but would probably take a while to figure out, but the real issue is gonna be disabling cloud saves. they could do it in theory, but it would require an almost complete overhaul of the switch online service. it's so much more likely that they'll release them separately on the eshop, which even then they're not likely to do. the easiest way to do it which is still stupidly unlikely is to have all of the pokemon games as separate apps that are free to play with a switch online membership, but that'll probably be clunky and only make people pretty upset.
I think it would be really cool if we also got more third party systems, like Sega Saturn, dreamcast, turbo graphics 16 and Virtual boy. Since those consoles have a small audience since collecting for those systems can be pricy but having them on NSO will make them more widely available!
Now that I think about it, Easy Gyromite can be put on the online switch, since although the joke of the game is to use R.O.B, you can still pass the levels if the second player is in charge of moving the blue and red pillars manually by pressing the second control, it would be a good cooperative game
One thing to note: Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are direct sequel/connected, and the same goes for Colosseum and XD. It doesn't make much sense to split them up.
I think we are getting DK64 this November instead of 2027. It would make more sense because November marks the 25th anniversary. I think it would be a missed opportunity to not drop DK64 that month.

I think they’ll rerelease 3d all stars and add galaxy 2 but I think they’ll also add 64 ds and 3d land. I don’t think they’ll have free dlc as this is Nintendo you’ll have to buy the same game again. So in other words you’ll have to buy 3d all stars again with these 3 new games into the collection only for the switch 2

Two things First off, if I actually saw Squarespace on the switch it would be hilarious Second, assuming the switch 2 gets a couple extra years like 2031 and 2032 I would love to see the Mario and Sonic Olympic games title and I think Wii Party and Sports Resort could do well on the Wii, as well as Wii Fit but you may need a balance board or something similar. The Carnival Games series would also be great additions. And we may as well have Wii Music because why not. As for the DS, nintendogs might be a good title as well as Mario And Sonic DS titles (Can’t wait for Vancouver 2010), and a couple smaller sonic games
If they are planning to bring DS games to the Switch 2, then the console should come with two screens. Maybe have one of the screens to be detachable and act like Wii U Pad. I think the idea to have to buy a second screen just to play DS games sounds real stupid to me.
Honestly, after that june 2024 nintendo direct, I realized Nintendos strategy for releasing mario party games. It takes 3 years for nd cube to develop a console mario party game. 9 was in 2012, 10 was in 2015, super was in 2018, superstars was in 2021, and jamboree is coming this year(2024). However, ever since 2021, nintendo seems to do a yearly thing for mario party every holiday. In 2021, we got a new game. In 2022, we got rereleases for the first and second game on n64. In 2023, we finally got mario party 3. This year, we're getting a new game. So with your logic about nintendo having gamecube games at launch, i bet we would get mario party 4 in 2025, mario party 5 and 6 in 2026, and a new game(Plus maybe other mario partys like ds, 7, 8 or 9).

So, on the 20-year anniversary of Super Mario Galaxy 2 is when we're getting it for Switch 2. THEY BETTER RELEASE IT ON THE EXACT DATE, May 23, 2010, so May 23, 2030, had BETTER be when they release it for Switch 2. Edit to clarify: I know none of the games but two Nintendo Online games have been confirmed, but IF all these predictions turns out to be true, then getting SMG2 in 2030, in May, and on the 23rd, then it'd be quite amazing how good Nathaniel is at predicting. Hell, I've been able to predict when Season 16 of NCIS would be available on TV in my country, adn that was by knowing the exact amount of episodes, basing the calculations on when season 15 became available, and just guess thr date, then pay attention to every ad by fast forwarding at a decent speed, not too slow nor too fast, but fast enough 2 be able to abruptly stop if I caught something remjnding me of NCIS, and just check whether that was what I was looking for or not. Tho, I waited until it neared the predicted date, and I actually NAILED it. Now I'm predicting when Season 21 of the same show becomes available in my country, or on Disney+ in the UK, which I have acces to through a VPN, and since it's only 10 episodes due to the strike last year, waiting is still a pain, but will take way shorter time. I'm predicting somewhere this year because adding subtitles on 10 episodes, whole time consuling still, it's 14 fewer than Season 16, and I really don't want to wait till next year to watch Season 21 either, so I hope they drop the Season on Disney+ like a week or so after finishing the Season, so that my mom and I can watch the series on Disney+, and then on TV.
Actually, I could see them doing a 3DS/ Wii U online (likely not the latter) because, as you said it could be a big selling point to have all of a series on one console, such as the New Soup series, smash bros, Mario party, and Mario kart, a huge selling point, and if they ever did this, it would be huge for nentendo fans everywhere

I'm not sure what my favorite is, but I really got into Super Metroid in May 2021. Dread was announced the following month, and I wouldn't have gotten it on launch if it wasn't included in the service.

I’ve been waiting since Mario 3D all stars for Galaxy 2 to come for switch, or even a Galaxy 3 for that matter. Then I watch this and the prediction for Galaxy 2 is 6 years from now 😤

Two things
First off, if I actually saw Squarespace on the switch it would be hilarious
Second, assuming the switch 2 gets a couple extra years like 2031 and 2032 I would love to see the Mario and Sonic Olympic games title and I think Wii Party and Sports Resort could do well on the Wii, as well as Wii Fit but you may need a balance board or something similar. The Carnival Games series would also be great additions. And we may as well have Wii Music because why not. As for the DS, nintendogs might be a good title as well as Mario And Sonic DS titles (Can’t wait for Vancouver 2010), and a couple smaller sonic games
Pokémon and Smash Bros + DS Online is pretty much my dream. I'll keep my expectations in check though.
I think it would be cool if new Super Mario Bros from the DS came back with an upgraded online Mario vs Luigi
If they are planning to bring DS games to the Switch 2, then the console should come with two screens. Maybe have one of the screens to be detachable and act like Wii U Pad. I think the idea to have to buy a second screen just to play DS games sounds real stupid to me.

Honestly, after that june 2024 nintendo direct, I realized Nintendos strategy for releasing mario party games.
It takes 3 years for nd cube to develop a console mario party game. 9 was in 2012, 10 was in 2015, super was in 2018, superstars was in 2021, and jamboree is coming this year(2024). However, ever since 2021, nintendo seems to do a yearly thing for mario party every holiday.
In 2021, we got a new game. In 2022, we got rereleases for the first and second game on n64. In 2023, we finally got mario party 3. This year, we're getting a new game.
So with your logic about nintendo having gamecube games at launch, i bet we would get mario party 4 in 2025, mario party 5 and 6 in 2026, and a new game(Plus maybe other mario partys like ds, 7, 8 or 9).
I'm hoping Switch 2 would be backwards compatible with original Switch games so then those Switch online games can be played on the Switch 2 kind of like how the PS5 is backwards compatible with PS4

So, on the 20-year anniversary of Super Mario Galaxy 2 is when we're getting it for Switch 2. THEY BETTER RELEASE IT ON THE EXACT DATE, May 23, 2010, so May 23, 2030, had BETTER be when they release it for Switch 2.
Edit to clarify: I know none of the games but two Nintendo Online games have been confirmed, but IF all these predictions turns out to be true, then getting SMG2 in 2030, in May, and on the 23rd, then it'd be quite amazing how good Nathaniel is at predicting. Hell, I've been able to predict when Season 16 of NCIS would be available on TV in my country, adn that was by knowing the exact amount of episodes, basing the calculations on when season 15 became available, and just guess thr date, then pay attention to every ad by fast forwarding at a decent speed, not too slow nor too fast, but fast enough 2 be able to abruptly stop if I caught something remjnding me of NCIS, and just check whether that was what I was looking for or not. Tho, I waited until it neared the predicted date, and I actually NAILED it. Now I'm predicting when Season 21 of the same show becomes available in my country, or on Disney+ in the UK, which I have acces to through a VPN, and since it's only 10 episodes due to the strike last year, waiting is still a pain, but will take way shorter time. I'm predicting somewhere this year because adding subtitles on 10 episodes, whole time consuling still, it's 14 fewer than Season 16, and I really don't want to wait till next year to watch Season 21 either, so I hope they drop the Season on Disney+ like a week or so after finishing the Season, so that my mom and I can watch the series on Disney+, and then on TV.
Actually, I could see them doing a 3DS/ Wii U online (likely not the latter) because, as you said it could be a big selling point to have all of a series on one console, such as the New Soup series, smash bros, Mario party, and Mario kart, a huge selling point, and if they ever did this, it would be huge for nentendo fans everywhere

He was only right about that and Super Mario Land so far. He was way off about Metroid Zero Mission, Perfect Dark, and Donkey Kong Jr Math. He predicted that we won't get those titles way later! We got those games in 2024 instead.

I already played Super Mario 64 on the emulator on my phone, on 3D All Stars and N64 Switch Online on Switch!! I found all 120 Stars!!

It's funny to me how wii games are coming up on 20 years old but there's no switch online for it. Yet, when the wii came out, NES games were all over the virtual console and they were about 20 years old back then
