@@mizarpasantes8851 you’re welcome!! So this one was actually custom made, just some stainless steel pipe bent towards the fender from the turbo, nothing crazy.
@@mizarpasantes8851 hate to say this but I used some left over pipe laying in the shed lol. I would measure the diameter of the turbo inlet and just get a stainless steel J-pipe off of eBay for maybe $30-$50?
Yo! Came across your video, I know you might not have this car anymore but I have some questions! I have a rb20det with a rb25 turbo, stock ecu. Was wondering if stock injector CC is more than enough fuel injection. Thanks!
Hey man! Thanks for commenting! So I ran single cam KA injectors which were nearly identical to the stock 20 ones being 270cc. I was chip tuned via RSEnthalpy but was for stock turbo. Tuner said just up the fuel pressure to adjust for the AFR’s and car was great! A good bit more laggy but expected on a 2.0 haha.
@@largemisoramen9622 so I had mine upgraded while she was still KA due to a failed OEM (20 year old) fuel pump so said may as well upgrade haha. Shouldn’t affect the stock ecu especially if you have a fuel pressure regulator. I would do it sooner than later as a precautionary measure but if she runs fine, keep sending it! I ran a Walbro 255 drop-in.
Yoo all good haha. Well they worked perfect for my setup actually and were form rockauto for a KA24E motor haha. Definitely learned a lot of compatibility with the ol RB, wish I still had it sometimes!
oh thnks info i use rb20det on stok turbo but i got some issues that my turbo got leak of oil & the turbine is not fit can i just change it turbo rb20 to rb25 turbo?
@@wawanw7862 yes you can! Direct swap, just have to drill a wastegate nipple nipple for the 25 turbo to run the RB20 wastegate which is recommended for mode boost over a 25 stock one!
Hey man did you also use the injector seals that came with the new ones ? The seal that sit in the intake
I believe so! I don’t remember having to source new seals, since the injectors are interchangeable, the seals should be as well.
@@dapetdetective thanks bro
I would like to know where you could get the ka24e fuel injector
Ordered on Rock Auto!
Dude how did you get your turbo so loud!! I’m trying to get it that loud, I already got the hks filter and blocked off the recirc valve
Haha I’m running a metal pipe too! Might be why lol.
@@dapetdetective ahh that makes sense thanks!! Do you know where I could buy the metal pipe like yours?

@@dapetdetective awesome! thanks for the reply. When it comes to upgrading you're fuel pump, at what point do you need to do that?

What's the size comparison between the ka24e injectors and the rb20 ones? (cc)
Same size!! 270CC
@@dapetdetective thanks
Want to sell those yellow injectors?
So this car’s long gone sadly! But Rock Auto should have the replacements!
Did you take out all six without removing the intake ?
Correct! Just unbolted the fuel rail and slid it back, gave me just enough access to all the injectors.
Alittle late but thise look like rb26dett 440cc injectors my dude.

Hey no need to be sorry! Was using the factory RB20 turbo, ended up upgrading to an RB25 turbo before selling, was a direct fit!
