This is the first time where it's all about the kids. Most parents who have made the decision to make this move, then put the kids in coffin like bunks. You not only gave them the back end of the bus with more room, you are also the only parents who have actual appropriate safety seats for everyone. Very impressive with your build! Great Job!!👍

tbh I don't think kids care for spacious interiors, large rooms, etc.. I remember when I was the age of those kids me and my friend used to build small bases out of scrap wood I could find and it wasn't enough to even comfortably sleep in, or stand, yet it was fun.

I am in awe! This is, without a doubt, the most amazing conversion I’ve ever seen. This will sound strange to many because I’m a single 59 year old woman and the most amazing part of this build, to me, is the electrical part. My brother is a master electrician and we worked together for years. You have done an amazing job with your electrical system. The care you took in the safety of your family is superb. My brother is a perfectionist and everything not only has to work perfectly but it has to look perfect too. Yours is so neat and tidy. Gorgeous build.

This is the best build I have ever seen. The layout is perfect. I like the fact that you don’t make your children sleep on the couch while you have a bedroom. I like your “bedroom” though. It is private when you need it to be. I never understood why people couldn’t build a bus or whatever RV, with enough electrical power. This is the first one I have seen where you can run an AC unit while having other appliances going. It is worth the money to me, to have power when I need it. The kitchen is perfect. I agree with an other comment that most kitchens are to big for the space. You make it work. That is all it matters. This is the best bus, by far, that have seen. Safe travels.

Thank you. We could have more space to play with if we opted out of having proper seating upfront.
Safety measures such as appliances that are bolted down or metal framed walls to catch anything that could fly in an accident kinda sculpted our layout.
We built our bus electrical to meet our needs from the cloudy Seattle area and also the heat of the south with ac needs.

Lynette Patton I had quite the opposite thought. When I was a kid, having my own space was a huge benefit even if it was just a bedroom. I could get away from parents/siblings and just be alone. These kids are shoved into a small space bedroom wise above a bus engine and next to a washer and dryer. I feel like I would absolutely hate this especially as I got older.

I can see both view points and totally respect where you are coming from.
The bunks are large twin size and they can fully sit up in them but that didn't translate well on the video.
The wall section that the black back table folds out from blocks the views of each other when they are tucked in bed.
Even when we had a large house with enough rooms they wanted to share bedrooms.
We eventually plan on finding some land to buy when we figure out what state we like in the future.
We are enjoying this time for now being able to travel and see things. The ever changing outdoors offer a lot of space when they need a break. They sit and enjoy the sun while painting or reading.
Currently we are parked on a 250 acre farm in Oregon and they are playing in a little creek and planting gardens.
Last Friday they were around our other bus friends in AZ with kids playing and having campfires. Life is more about adventures than living in a box. For now this works. We are hunkered down quaratining.

I Like the seating area for the family, everybody has a good, reliable seat to sit in. Stackable washer & dryer instead of a combo, really comes in handy for a family of six, saves time. Water filteration system, I love it for I am particular about my water. You put a lot of details in this rig.

Buddy up in flagstaff az built his warehouse workshop. He does woodwork and guitars he sells down in mesa and area open air markets. He used to be an engineer at boeing out in CA before he was laid off back in original recession. His bus is very well engineered and executed like yours!
He parks in a covered side overhang adjacent to his workshop. His workshop itself has solar too. Hookups for his bus, and a hottub right behind the bus along with an outdoor kitchen. He was intending to see all of america from newyears to end of summer, but I guess now thats moot. I think the air gap between his buses outdoor roof and the top covered parking, help keep his bus cool.
Anyways, hope you guys stay safe and hunker down!
