This school bus conversion is seriously cool! Nicholas and Francesca have done such a great job, creating a home which is super comfortable all while remaining a serious off-the-grid adventure vehicle! I hope you enjoy this weeks episode! Love to you all! Bryce & Rasa

Living Big In A Tiny House it’s absolutely stunning! Having a big house with rooms that are never used is really a waste, I’ve finally realized that the older I got!
Hi Bryce, I'd like more information about their shower. I know they said it felt like "a warm hug" but I don't think they mentioned the brand or how it works. Could you please get some more information and post it? Thank you, Jennifer UPDATE: With the help of "Chillin'," I was able to find it! 🤗Please see below comments for the info.💗
the only thing that is missing (for my personal needs) is a washer/dryer. Some bus conversions I've seen do include that. I would use some kind of wall mounted heating system - freeing that floor space for a washer/dryer. Other than that this school bus conversion is stunning!
Nick was so right, when he said his grandparents had been saving for retirement, but now unable to travel. They have the right mindset do it now, while they are young & able!! And that schoolie is gorgeous!!
I think this is seriously my favorite schoolie conversion. It has everything you could possibly need without comfort being compromised. Such smart choices. Storage is amazing.
The fact the design is so open is great. With time they might even decide to add more in to those spaces if they felt it. This is something I would personally do myself, I wouldn't try to cram in a ton of stuff I MIGHT use, I would leave it all open as much as possible and only fit in exactly what I do need at the moment. Pretty much all I need is storage for electronics, multimedia and art supplies, the rest a decent sized kitchen like this and minimal clothes storage, preferably clothes that can be mixed and matched easily without looking too clashing. That's a very little amount of space, probably just slightly more than this design all things considered. Although as they say their selves, the wood stove is OTT for the space, which is true a lot of times. I would get a smaller wall-mounted one and that opens that huge corner space right up. Lot of flexibility in this kind of design where you try keep the majority of fixed bulky stuff on one side and keep simpler light and non-fixed objects on the other side. Tables, moving storage, seats and so on. Even better if they can collapse. Preferably on the opposite side to heavier storage such as water tanks just to keep the overall vehicle balanced. When you go to smaller sizes you need to make as much multi-functional space as you can, every little helps. A generic space like that can allow you to do so much more than if you had a bunch of stuff all cramped together and feel like navigating a maze through it.
Lol. I live on a flat nose school bus. Except it don't run. But I own the 5 acres of land it sits on. The bus was $500. 84 passenger. I have a wood burning stove, a propane stove/oven. I have an area for clothes, lots of storage, and my kids bunk beds.

I've watched quite a few of these school bus builds and this one definitely feels the most open. I feel like a lot of buses have way too much inside but this one strikes a nice balance. The host was also great.

In the process of planning my skoolie build, been trying to think of ways to optimize space and include an office station. Awesome idea matey, didn't think of that
I'm not 100% sure that would be crashworthy. You don't want clips coming at your face at that speed if/when you hit something. It tends to have unfortunate outcomes when the car DOES follow crash guidelines. My cousin broke every bone in her face in one accident.
This house is so warm and welcoming! Their love and compassion made it look and feel very beautiful. Thank you Bryce and Rasa for introducing us to such lovely people and their homes.
It’s the first “tiny” home that I’ve seen with a split bathroom, which is really smart! The only thing I would have added is a barn or pocket door for more privacy for any visitors.
This is the best, BEST bus conversion/tiny home I've seen so far. Not only is it presently functional, it can be transformed in the future when they have a kid too! All they need to do is put up a door between the kitchen and the living area and they have their very own private bedroom right where they spend most of their time and spare their current bedroom for their child. Absolutely LOVE this transformation!
Speaking of committing 100%... while caravaning with other skoolies, Francesca had an affair with the husband of the Numbejuan bus, for MONTHS, leading to the divorce of both couples. Yeah.
To me, this is one of the most sensible approaches to Tiny House living. Extremely nice and practical. I might add a few sky lights/moon roofs but I recognize their complexity and propensity for leaking. Very cool!
This is such an impressive bus design. I admire this couple for being able to live this way. I know I couldn't do it with my husband and dogs but its wonderful that they have managed to make it work, and the design is top notch!
Yeah, they didn't "make it work"... while caravaning together, for MONTHS she was home wrecking away and sleeping with the husband of the numbejuan bus. Kels and Jay recently did a video with the cheatee, post divorce, lovely that she and Roam are doing well on the other side of that mess. Karma, baby! 😢
it's amazing to me that so many couples who have no experience in such projects can create such awesome homes. I cannot express my admiration enough. It must be the sheer passion.
What a neat couple. I love their passion for the open road, and the commitment to each other to make it happen. And of course another great video from Living Big in a Tiny Home. Awesome stuff.

"The money will come" - Wish I had that kind of faith in money. - Awesome idea, and good for them. But the first thing that hit my mind was, How do they pay for gas, repairs, food etc.
Exactly, it'd be good to know as well how they get the money for all these. Do they still go to work 9-5? Do they work remotely? If yes, that probably requires a stable internet connection? And if they ever wanted to have kids and how they imagined it with kids? So many questions get unanswered in these videos.
Your comment is interesting. So how do you continue to have faith that your job will be there when everyday we see people being laid off at the will of big business. I think this is a valid option... At least just as valid as depending on the traditional path. Don't stay stuff just because it's familiar. We need to be open to change if we want to survive.
He said they both worked long hours and saved and saved most of their money so they could travel in retirement, so sounds like they have plenty. That’s a lot of dog food also, so I don’t think they’re doing without anything. Cool conversion!!!
This is unbelievably gorgeous. The taste of interior design, all the love in there, this great lifestyle and functionality is just the most inspiring I've ever seen so far concerning tiny homes or even homes in general!! I am in love. Thank you, Bryce, for showing us this magnificent home. Wow. I am happy that there are actually people living their most magical lives.
What a totally unexpected interior! From the kitchen cupboards, fire place and that fantastic design bathroom! Then the bedroom tucked away too, absolutely gorgeous and completely practical and beautiful throughout 💖💖
I have seen a lot of school bus turning home projects..but the interior these guys managed in this project is just awesome...it’s fantastic..it’s a simple and yet a rich look.
If you meet the right person to have an adventure with is so fantastic. The kitchen is really beautiful. Actually the whole design is esthetically pleasing.
What a great mindset to life they have. I have often thought myself that saving is great, but why not seize the day today. We don't know how much time we have on this planet, and they are showing you can enjoy it right now.
I will turn 80 in about 3 months and I can tell you that it's not enough time to fully enjoy what life has to offer. I'm hoping to live to 100 or more, but still not enough time. Do what you can while you can.
Its such a beautiful home. I love it when he meant by spend and do things while your young. Because its so true many do save for years......and many of them are old and sickly to even enjoy life.
It’s absolutely stunning. I love everything about it. It’s stylish but cozy. I bet it’s amazing on a cold winters night with the lighting on, the curtains closed and the wood burner crackling away ♥️👍
Fantastic! We've been a bit all over the place with our releases lately. Life on the road an inconsistent internet has been a challenge recently. Glad we could catch you in time for your coffee today mate!
@@livingbig Thanks! Just watched the episode and its amazing. Aside from how wonderful their design is and the ability to travel, the cost compared to a fixed home improves all aspects of their lives. A wonderful couple with such a great balance. I wish them all the best.
I did the same as you; quit work in Atlanta 2016, moved to Colorado then hit the road and never looked back. Went all over the US; bought a bus (with air-ride seat) in London, did it up with friends and went all over the UK and Europe. FREEEEEEEDOM! (see my vids in my channel, I show it in a Bulgaria video). I'm in Slovenia now.
Slovenia is wonderful!! A very special place. I absolutely loved biking in Ljubljana and visiting Lake Bled. Sometimes he asks the complex’s how they earn money on the road, but not this time. It’s such a big component of making this type of lifestyle function. So, I’m curious, how are you making a living while traveling? Happy adventuring to you!
@@palaz_z I keep telling people that it is like what I imagine Scotland would be if it were not ruled, plundered, socially and economically sabotaged by England.....or what Japan would be like with a smaller population and less nuclear power stations (especially Fukushima :-( ). It is the best country in the world all things considered (freedom, beauty, landscape diversity, conservation, green-energy, cleanliness, lack of pollution, infrastructure and the people are so damn nice and helpful) so i just bought a house here in Prekmurje/Velika Polana. I also love Most Na Sochi and Idrija but the whole country is amazing. Been here 3 months. The place is a constant postcard whether Lake Bled or Maribor or Murska Sobota. You must be so proud, your country is like an independent version of mine, with the bluest water I have ever seen next to Croatia.

And last but not least. The front window designed for the pups, I just think it is fantastic !! She is point on, you walk inside you don't know it is a bus, it is indeed a beautiful home. Wow, i like this one. Actually lools like a home on the inside. Designed well and very practical for living. Decor was very updated and inviting as well. Nice job!
You were smart to get a Bluebird school bus. They are the Rolls Royce of school buses because the are tri-riveted... they use 3 times more rivets when constructing the bus. Which makes a quiet rattle free bus...!!!
Best school bus conversion I have ever seen. It's spacious without any clutter. There's enough space to move around and the bedroom, hmmm.... It's amazing. Good job👍
Wow! Bryce, you and Rasa have done it again! This episode is one of the best ever, the couple is so genuinely sweet and so smart! Their school bus is amazing! They have their priorities straight!! What a delightfully enviable life they have chosen! Kudos to them!!! Love your shorts!! ❤️
Lovely... just lovely... all of it... the bus...the pooches & the couple... lovely!!! Safe journeys & enjoy your life as you are doing... so young yet so wise... Big hug from Cape Town...
Your dogs are adorable. I can see how much they add to your life. My only concern is that they have a safe place (like a crate) while driving on the freeway. Best wishes to you guys.
@@PeaceOfMake That may be, but if you look at the sides of the bus above the windows, the old window drip covers are still attached to the roof... so it wasn't THAT professional!

I will turn 80 in about 3 months and I can tell you that it's not enough time to fully enjoy what life has to offer. I'm hoping to live to 100 or more, but still not enough time. Do what you can while you can.
They the most important thing about living in a bus. Enjoying life while you have the passion and courage for it! 👏🏼
Hello Fernande
I don't know but I cry, imagine u have like this with partner everyday is great
Its such a beautiful home. I love it when he meant by spend and do things while your young. Because its so true many do save for years......and many of them are old and sickly to even enjoy life.
Its always the home owner's love for their tiny homes that keeps me hooked. Everything else(engineering, tricks, details) is a bonus😎
It’s absolutely stunning. I love everything about it. It’s stylish but cozy. I bet it’s amazing on a cold winters night with the lighting on, the curtains closed and the wood burner crackling away ♥️👍
Hello Rosie, hope you don't mind us being friends okay 🌹
These two are so charismatic, and I love the look, feel and design of the home. Honestly, they should be starting a channel here on UA-cam.
This is one of the best bus to tiny house conversion I've seen! The design is so pretty and inspiring as well.
My favorite bus so far! Thank you for letting us visit. Hope to see you on the road someday!
Perfect timing!!! I'll grab my coffee :) Cheers Bryce!
I wish them all the best.
passing by your comment then I realized that Bryce's name has the same exact spelling as my nephews,cool...hi Bryce! ....
This is one of my favourite tiny houses, so pretty and clever!
By far the nicest conversion I've seen!!
I love Bulgaria! The Rila mountains are awesome. Good job!
amazing! hope you’re having a great time in my home country, Slovenia.

If I had the means I would 100% do this with my husband and pups. I’m so so jealous. I love driving and traveling ❤️😭
Oh my goodness !!
This rig is super gorgeous !!
I don't know what is my favorite part. The shower & bathroom, the ten foot sofa, kitchen, wood stove.
The front door, stone steps, bedroom. And last but not least. The front window designed for the pups, I just think it is fantastic !!
She is point on, you walk inside you don't know it is a bus, it is indeed a beautiful home. I would spend a lot of time in this home. I just love it !!
You guys did a amazing job !!
Thanks for sharing.
This is absolutely the nicest schoolie I’ve see. Beautiful!! Kudos
Sooo beautiful! Words are inadequate to express how wonderful this conversion is.
I have watched some of the videos and i really enjoyed the story behind each tiny houses i have viewed. Thanks from Quezon City, Philuppines 🇵🇭.
absolutely gorgeous, congrats to the homeowners on such a beautiful home!! Well done!!
Wow, i like this one. Actually lools like a home on the inside. Designed well and very practical for living. Decor was very updated and inviting as well. Nice job!
What a beautiful job designing and decorating this "bus". What a lifestyle you have and I love the dogs!
Everything about the bus is SAWEEEET!!! Love the stonework the best. Great job, you 2 (I mean 5)!
You were smart to get a Bluebird school bus. They are the Rolls Royce of school buses because the are tri-riveted... they use 3 times more rivets when constructing the bus. Which makes a quiet rattle free bus...!!!
Actually, Crown was the Rolls Royce of School Buses by far.
Hello Marie, hope you don't mind us being friends okay 🌹
Wow, that's so beautiful and I love the shower/ toilet/ bathroom areas
Very well done
"I don't get jealous of anyone else's home" That statement is rich 🙄😏
Outstanding design, best one ever!!! And so homey loved the pretty cushions and the dogs get a cozy space too!!! Award winning!!!!!☆☆☆☆☆
Lovely... just lovely... all of it... the bus...the pooches & the couple... lovely!!!
Safe journeys & enjoy your life as you are doing... so young yet so wise...
Big hug from Cape Town...
So beautiful!!! One of the most accommodating I have seen.
Hello Allison
So this, here, is how I'll finally convince my boyfriend that it's doable ! Awesome design, beautiful couple, thanks a lot !
Beautiful, stylish and free like a pigeon that can fly to where he loves to go..
Just love it!
Your dogs are adorable. I can see how much they add to your life. My only concern is that they have a safe place (like a crate) while driving on the freeway. Best wishes to you guys.
One of the most stunning skoolie conversions I've EVER seen!!! 💖😲💖
WoW! This Tiny House is just gorgeous...and purchased , loved and enjoyed for all the right reasons. Great design too.
Hello Patricia, hope you don't mind us being friends okay 🌹
I love how she said, we are always home no matter where we go.
This is the coolest RV / tiny house I've seen so far.
What a beautiful couple.god bless you to live a 100 years together with lots of kids and grandkids
It has such a comfy vibe to it,i love it
I'd like to see more details on raising the roof 20". That looks like hard work!
They obviously hired people to do it. The reason why their home is double the price of materials.
@@PeaceOfMake That may be, but if you look at the sides of the bus above the windows, the old window drip covers are still attached to the roof... so it wasn't THAT professional!
@@thomasdarby6084 I never said it was done very well, just that they didn't do it themselves.
Cute fur babies!!
Nice job on home too!
Hello Nancy
Such beautiful people and adorable dogs. The bus looks amazing and I've learned a great deal that happiness travels far xoxoxo
