That White Scars army is just insane. So unique, absolutely impeccable freehand - I don't think I've seen simple squad sergeants look so consistently good!
Amazing isn’t it
It is probably the best looking army I’ve ever seen. Maybe I’m biased but I can’t remember a better one. And while Waterbeast’s is equally impeccable it’s a little too grimy for my taste.
What's with Canadians and painting absolutely gorgeous Scars armies? Both Tim and Brandon Baker from BBMinis have some of the best painted Scars armies I've ever seen. Absolutely stunning.
They are the best 🇨🇦
Much love thanks mate! Tim’s got an incredible army that I’d be proud to play with :)
Thank you! Something about red and white compels us I guess :P
13:07 What a shocker that the Iron Warrior player doesn’t want Nightfight….lol … not really sure how he can just veto it either… Nightfight happens on a 2+ if only one player wants it… WS player was being very gracious.
@@KapitanPoop we are using the event rules you can find them in the description
Biker Mice from Mars was absolutely a thing in Canada. Our friend may be too young to have watched that amazing show.
The amount of insane White Scars that are popping out recently is just insane and amazing to see! Lovely army, good to see WS not using the busted Rite of Sagian Masar with mass infantry spam! Freehands and pinkish reds, crispy whites are next level, truly a canadian!
Enjoy buddy and agree so many nice white scar armies ❤
@SNBattleReports speaking of busted lists have you seen mass despoiler infantry spamming on WS? Infantry or HQ kills do not give enemy anything, they charge you turn 2, unless you yourself are melee (even then you are dead unless you are Custodes), you are dead. Natural counter to the other busted Alpha legion list, that tables you turn 2.
The Sound DC made when he made both of his Dreadnought attacks… i died 😂😂😂😂
🤣
Really love seeing the No Retreat armies making it into Battle Reports. Would love to see more details from No Retreat as well!
Thanks! What do you mean by more details
@@SNBattleReports
Just a thought. I feel like there is a lot of untapped potential for you to use the connections of no retreat to create guest content about the participants gorgeous armies, hobby journey, and opinions of their factions / strategy. I think it would be a relatively “easier” type of content that would still be very popular and is largely evergreen for getting future views. There’s very little video content of people showing off and talking about the decisions they’ve made with their army.
I loved the post no retreat video done at Heresy Hammer as well as a list review that you all did too. As someone who would absolutely love to go one day I’m always a bit bummed that there’s not a lot of video content making it out of the event. You all do something truly unique with it and there’s gotta be a niche of content that can be made from it that is truly unique for the channel.
@@exzachtly agreed! Just so difficult to have extra time at the event to also do this type. But totally agree we need to find it
@@exzachtly we have a armies video coming out
@@SNBattleReports can’t wait!
Beautiful WS Army.
Enjoyed Tim's sense of humour too, great to see guests
He’s the best
Those white scars are so well done..
Amazing aren’t they ❤
Love Tims army, got to see it in person once whata treat. Great game
It’s awesome
I missed many videos on my holiday ! Really beautiful armies and nice battle report
Welcome back!
Tim's calm demeanor and sharp tongue was hilarious. Its a lot easier to accept $h*t talk when its coming from such a wonderfully calm and happy person, its not malicious or condescending. I felt like it was welcome and great for the experience. What an army, like all the other comments I gotta give Tim some kudos for the display. The Akira-esk seer on bike, The mask on the dread, just insane amount of love.
Glad you enjoyed both the game and the army! Hope you see you on SN+ soon 😃
Fuck yes!!!! Iron within, Iron without!!!!!
Enjoy Buddy! ❤
A glorious spectacle! Thank you
Our pleasure!
That army is beautiful! I've just shared it with the lads, hopefully I'll get to see it in person one day!
🙌🏽
The white scars inductii are so distinct! Really amazing to see such character across the army. The artwork on the bikes is ingenious
It’s amazing
First off, Tim’s army is GORGEOUS. Second, are those red clouds freehands ? My GOD
Yes they are 🤣
@@SNBattleReports i posted on your last video that I’d be working on White Scars to one day go to No Retreat … given the competition I don’t think that’s happening no more lol 😭
@@jeanfrancois8145 always try!
@@SNBattleReports Yeah I'm past the whining phase now, motivated as hell now !
I've never seen anyone so calmly and gently issue threats like that lol
It’s scary isn’t it 😂
Ramming OP - I've scored Slay the Warlord with a ramming Rhino. My Suzerains broke a Blood Angels Praetor and his retinue in the BA turn, then in my turn the Rhino rammed them before they had a chance to rally and forced them to fall back off the board.
Haha amazing
I love Tim!
I really like How the WS army worked/was played! Very nice batrep
Thanks buddy Tim is great
Okay, I NEED to know how that Bike Librarian was done!
Message Tim on gram 🙌🏽
I'd absolutely kill to see a NL army painted to the degree that those WS models were.
Awesome battle report, beautiful armies, those white scars!!! DC I remember the biker mice from Mars!
Thanks Arthur
Yay more Horus Heresy! Love the content, amazing White Scars army!
Thanks 😊
Great stuff chaps that white scars army is beauty, 1:16:23 DC rolled his famous 1s and should have stuck around with insane heroism
Thanks and glad you enjoyed champ
I'm snitching on Tim. His secret is that he doesn't use primer. That's why everything looks so good!
Haha amazing
THIS GUYS SCARS ARMY IS INSANE
Amazing isn’t it
That was as painful as it was gorgeous, ouch!
Lovely armies!
Perturabo demands better of us.
The honour (lol) of Olympia demands a rematch...
Thanks buddy! More coming on SN+ soon for members 👏🏽
Tim’s WS are stunning, even more so in person!
Agreed 👍🏽
I think we are all missing the most important thing here. Where does one get a dice buck belt attachment?
Agreed! I need this! People use the rock climbing ones I’m for the powder I’m sure this is one of those
Hai Chogoris! Great battle report, thanks guys! Hopefully we see Tim again!
Us too!
I’ve played against Tim! Gave me painting tips, and is great fun to play against!
He is fab!
Both armies are really cool.
This battle looks sweet!
Thanks buddy
That White Scars army is absolutely stunning!
Thanks Dave and thanks for supporting
Twenty eight seconds and no views? Well lets change that!
Lol thanks for changing that 😅
Tim got a few rules wrong, you can only ram a unit once, it specifically states that the vehicle stops after ramming in the rules, also the white scars inductii need to survive to the end of the game to get the victory point for proving their valour. He was also giving too many attacks to his sergeants with the power fist and thunder hammer, they're specialist weapons, so they shouldn't get any bonus for additional close combat weapons.
There's a section on ramming units that are falling back which states that a vehicle can come into contact with a unit falling back: "This also
applies if a unit Falls Back from a Ramming Attack and the Vehicle’s remaining move brings it into contact with them a second time." My interpretation is that the ram can continue to come into contact with that specific unit, but will stop before any OTHER unit.
You are correct on scoring with the Inductii, but its okay because we didn't include that point in the final score anyways :) The inductii also have Spite The Legion rule which awards a bonus attack against a unit that is either pinned/falling back or has no Character models (e.g. a Dreadnought): 2 Attacks base + 1 from the charge + 1 from spite. I have a Thunder Hammer + LC on that sergeant so that's where the bonus attack comes from, you can read that in my list.
Just seen the Tim has answered already 😀
Omg you made a biker mice from Mars reference?? Are you a Vinnie, throttle, or modo? I'm definitely a throttle lol
Same here 🤣
I think that tactical squad would have made the tank shock check because of the legion standard in the command squad right next to them.
Leadership 10
“Oh Canada, our home and native land…” -white scars probably
🙌🏽
"we are playing the special rules that come from no retreat 5 which is the No Retreat Horus heresy Edition um and our own rules that we've baked in is called tempestous Skies you can find all the details for those rules at uh the bottom" - I cant seem to find a link to these rules in the description. Can I have a link please, I am interested to take a look. Thanks.
also wondering the same!

@@SNBattleReports Thanks!
Purity seal falling made me laugh. Def a bad omen for loyalists.
😂
Wow that WS force is top drawer! 👍
Lovely isn’t it
A better presentation than GW.
Aww thanks!
I am just 19 minutes in an already laughed my socks off 😂😂 what a BEAUTIFULL Scars army and 2 lovley players👍🤩
Enjoy the rest of it Champ
I did and i nonstop enjoyed it to the end. For me it was one of the most amazing batreps you guys ever done❤ congratz guys 👍
Disintegrators don't have Instant Death on the Gets Hot - per the Gets Hot rules, you just take a wound at the weapon's AP, not with the weapon's special rules. This is why you always give disintegrator dudes Cyber-Hawks when you play White Scars - that reroll 1s to hit is just extra protection!
What a white scar force!
🔥
That advanced reaction where they all moved, the the jet bikes move back over their own unit? They have anti grav right? My understanding is a unit with anti grav can't move over units
You are correct, but with a 17" move its very easy for them to move around a unit instead of up and over the vets.
@@timbit. ah perfect, lovely stuff. Cheers for the clarification
They do move loads so I’m sure they moved around. But yes you are correct with that rule
Like and comment to support the channel, the Emperor protects)
For the Emperor!
WOW! Gorgeous armies! Where's Karlav? 😂
😂 Karlavvvvv
Can GOlden Keshig actuqally sweep as they are Heavy?
Heavy can sweep nothing stops that except a rule like the cataphracti rule which is seperate
Beautiful army and watching the speed was a true white scars. What's the guy instagram
Itstimins
At 1:15:00, remember, Power Glaives do not have Reach(1) so the 4 marines would have struck back before being fully removed.
He pulled from the back so I don't think it would have made much of a difference considering the pile-in, but yeah they strike at the same time.
@@timbit. Tim, your painting is incredible. Thanks for showcasing a game that demonstrates the (lack thereof?) power of the bikes and the sheer level of play required to make them work. I am not sure which recently hired intern is writing the rules for Horus Heresy over at GW, but either T5 or Battle Hardened (1) is needed to make them viable, IMO. You played great. In my community, everyone knows the AR of White Scars so well now that it's hard to use on several units effectively any longer. 😅
@@pascal9055 Thank you! I think the outriders are tough enough, but the jetbikes could use a little love, I agree. In my experience with the Scars, the control bubble of 12" on the AR is the most powerful aspect. Opponents not willing to trigger the reaction often means they aren't moving in range of objectives or setting up charges. Its a win-win in my eyes.
Seen that Tim has already answered
@@SNBattleReports That he did. A gentleman and a scholar.
58:52 hate to be that guy but anything with the anti-grav sub type "Models with the Anti-grav subtype may never benefit from cover save of any kind"
We aren't referring to jetbikes here. Its the outriders, which would benefit from cover.
It’s the bikes I think at that time he is making the cover saves for
@SNBattleReports thank you not sure how I missed that, must have got lost in the sea of sexy ass bikes/jetbikes & those gorgeous IW
DC we are so much alike (minus that Spaghetti attrocity) we roll terrible and our brains are mush. Have you ever done a gene test? We could be cousins.
Let’s just say we are 😉
YES HAMMER OF OLYMPIA IS BACK BABY!!! Glory to the IVth!
Also YES! 20 Man Blobs of Tacs is the way HH should be played!
Iron Within!
DC you missed pinning on the Shrapnel Bolters dude.
Cavalry can't be pinned, so it wouldn't have made much of a difference! Maybe against those poor inductii though...
@@timbit. oh yeah of course!! Inductii maybe couldn’t have moved back but that’s it!
Most of Tim’s army can’t be pinned
@@SNBattleReports yeah realised that later on! My bad! Only really mattered against the Inductii. Awesome game as usual though bud :)
Come on iron warriors for the Victory
Enjoy Mike!
whoo hoo, white scars!
Enjoy! 😉
Any body else getting a gene wilder vibes from the white scars player lol
Biker Mice from Mars is legit. Prefer Street Sharks though
Amazing wasn’t it
Street Sharks! Now there's a blast from the past. Loved BMFM as well. epic childhood TV!
Hasn’t the ramming been played wrong? The rules say regardless of whether the moral test is passed or failed the ramming unit moves no further?
You first declare a distance to move when ramming and will continue to move to that distance if models fall back out of the way. If the morale test is passed, then yes, the vehicle stops an inch away, but the ramming rules explicitly state that you may come in contact with the same unit twice (or more).
Seen Tim has answered already
@@timbit. thanks for the clarity. I’d never read that far in the rules. As a World Eater with a ton of Rhino you’d have thought I’d have seen it! My bad!
@@davidchambers4288 No problem! The rule is like a page long so its easy to miss the nuances!
Great report and gorgeous armies!
Can't do that with the rhinos though, the rules say after the morale check, the tank "does not move any further this turn" regardless of the result of the check.
Answered this in another comment, but there's a section on ramming units that are falling back which states that a vehicle can come into contact with a unit falling back: "This also
applies if a unit Falls Back from a Ramming Attack and the Vehicle’s remaining move brings it into contact with them a second time." My interpretation is that the ram can continue to come into contact with that specific unit, but will stop before any other unit.
@@timbit. makes sense, thanks!
I’ve seen Tim the Wizard has answered already
having no lingering death makes phosphex whole thing entirely bad :( very sad
but otherwise very cool game, nice to see diffrent playstyle in WS!
What do you mean? No Lingering Death
Be nice DC…
We want CPT PARDO (take notes from Tim) !!! 🧡🤍🧡
