    I looked at buying a mini greenhouse, but far too expensive. I’m certainly glad I found your step by step instructions into making one myself. Thanks, very clear and doable 👍

    One Suggestion. Leave one panel of the siding open like a door or flap so that you can store stuff like flower pots, soil, etc. at the bottom of the greenhouse. this would be good storage space.

    You did really good. I love it I am just getting to do building things out of wood. It looks really good. and the best part is you did it yourself. I heard someone say that when you start doing woodworking that you are 20% better than most or something like that. Yea sure there are master woodworkers that may laugh at this and shake their heads but you did it yourself and at least you can laugh at your mistakes so do not beat yourself up. I learned a great deal from this and it makes me want to build one for myself. I love that you resued materials Or planet needs more people to do that same thing.

    Thanks been rolling over some ideas for green house. Was impressed that you used a hammer. Most contractors I see can't use a hammer.

    Thank you for making this video, I'm wanting to have a go at making a 4ft high, 4ft wide and 2ft deep mini greenhouse and you've inspired me, the door cockup made me laugh :)

    I’ve been looking for a project to re-use some of the parts of my old greenhouse. Have already made two covers for raised beds but there are many parts left. Thank you.

    I would have hinged one of the bottom panels so you could store empty pots and trays inside the bottom

    Very nice. I am looking for a small seed starter for my back yard and I like the size and shape of this one. Have you thought of adding a gutter along the back for water reclamation?

    What is the purpose of it being so far off the ground? great build

      I build it up for 2 reasons. 1) The main reason I can put a heater in the bottom and the grate allows the heat to transfer up. 2) I don't have to bend over as much as it is waist high

    I'm inspired! You made it like ABC and I enjoyed watching it to the end. I will have a go making this from old wood from my friend. I'm thinking of using the bottom area for storage. What do you think sir?

    Brilliant Job - Can You Make Me One 💕🤗 - So would you NOT use the space on the bottom half. And what if it really Windy Blow Over - how do You hold it down in the ground 🤔🤔🤔

    • @tomintheshop
      @tomintheshop  3 роки тому

      I do use the space on the bottom for a heater. It keeps it toasty. As far as it blowing over, it is plenty heavy enough it doesn't budge

    Nice Video! You might want to remove the center stile and mount it to one of the doors to have full access to the cabinet. Just a thought.

    Not too bad for amateurish project. I would made bottom part also part of green house instead of being just a giant useless stand. Also it lacks shelves. At least one in the middle.

    • @tomintheshop
      @tomintheshop  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks. I did add shelves later. I use the bottom to put a heater in and the heat radiates up. That's why it's hollow

    Just a question, and forgive me as I live in Australia where we don't have snow (at least where I live), but is the bottom section for that reason or just to keep the seedlings off the ground?.... Great video though and enjoyed your honesty it sounds like something I would do, including the stuff ups LOL
