@@rifathasan413 Glad it's helpful! If it doesn't work long term, the switch may need to be replaced. Unfortunately that's happening to my mom's car but all good. It may be more permanent for others !!
This is a known issue and has a warranty extension to replace that switch in the shifter. Doing this does not solve the issue only prolonging it till it's fixed correctly.
@@talkingwithcars yes as in from 2012+ Impreza. 2013+ Crosstrek. 2014+ Forester. 2015+ legacy/outback/auto WRX. Anything before that has a different shifter design and after 2018 has the improved design or was changed to a different design.
