It's a small point but for the sake of accuracy, the button on the upper right side is the LIGHTING switch, not the LIGHTNING switch. It is used to manually turn on the LED lights in the water/ice dispenser.

The reset button worked! Thanks. Now I’m getting this red icon under the water drop icon in the fridge side. You know this error (33 E) has been present since I purchased the PO Crap Samsung! Now duh, I can do all the functions. The crisper? Was full of ice on the top 3rd. I defrosted it manually and dried it out. It feels colder inside now. I blew out the outside coil with some dust coming off. The only thing I missed is the water drain tube. But it’s making great ice. Any feedback would be helpful

My power goes out once a week it seems but today was the first time my Samsung fridge was blinking.. did I have a power surge or did it just lose power while running ?
Uf thank you, only mine was the freezer and fridge button, so I think it's the first top button on each side, I held them both at the same time and it went back to normal

That was helpful, but my lights blinked for minutes and my non digital temp gauge says 55 degrees, and I saw water on the top and my beer was warm last night. So, I'm calling samsung repair tomorrow.

Did the reset, it flashed but then still nothing works even though the following lights are on Energy Saver, Ice Off, Filter, Water... I have a Samsung fridge that suddenly stopped cooling. The fridge temp will not get below 53 degrees. I've unplugged, set temp to 34 and pressed the power cool feature. I've done this several times. Still no change. I have model RF32FMQDBSR/AA. It does not have a Lightning feature.

Our control panel still works but the LEDs are burned out that display the temperature. I was able to reset using your method, but I can't see what temp it's set to since the LEDS are partially burned out. I see you can buy a new one on a few web sites for a couple hundred + dollars. Is it worth it, and if so how hard is it to replace?
You may be able to locate used control panel for half the price on eBay. This may justify for what you are trying to do. Thx for watching.

Try unplugging your refrigerator from the outlet or turn off the power at the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, Hope this helps.

Samsung RS261MDRS refrigerator, and mine is lighting, and energy saver for 8 to 10 seconds, and it resets. If it doesn't do it the first time try it again, sometimes the touch pad is funny.

I just bought a used one. Is there anything i need to do in order for the fridge to be functioning at its norm? Do i need to adjust temperature for anyrhing
Just plug it in and in a couple hours it should get to fridge temp.
After that you can set your fridge and freezer to your preference.

My Samsung is a bit older than yours and only has digital buttons inside the fridge at the top. I have a Fridge button a power cool button and an E Saver button. I don't have a 'Lightening' or Lighting button. Which should I hold down
Doesn't' hurt to try both (process of elimination). Hope this helps!

You may have a problem with the refrigerator’s circuit board caused by a power surge. Code 88 usually is related to this. Thx for watching!
Hi, what about RS50N3913BC model how to reset on that . Temp digits were blinking then i turned off and on it stoped blinking but its not cooling fridge and freezer both. Please help me with this samsung model.
