You don't realise how much you enjoy a channel until there hasn't been a video for a few days and you find yourself scrolling to see if you missed one ❤❤❤ 😂😂
My Dolores past away in 2020 of Covid. We had only 6 years and ten months when she past . But I know how you feel. She had two sons she adopted wen she was 45 and 48 two brothers. The were 6 and 9 whe we met . She was 4 years younger than me. I am now 70 my oldest is now 20 in September and youngest is soon to 17 . I am still working as a machinist of 50 years. Dolores was my life.
Please don't stress over release of videos. Easy to see you are time constrained by task priorities. Under normal circumstances you are one of the more consistent UA-camrs so we know you will return to that modus operandi when you can. The fence construction is magnificent and will be the envy of those driving past. Great effort both of you.
I am not only jealous of you guys and your farm but continuously amazed at the amount of work and precision you get done! Excellent work and thanx for the vids.
It's good that you talk about how long and boring some farm/ranch projects can get. The most frustration and mistakes I see newbies succumb to is how much time most vital infrastructure projects take. It's clear you've done this fencing project to last several decades. It's been a pleasure to watch.
I love how you take most our comments as well meaning even though you get inundated. It makes sticklers like me go easy on you. But here's a quick comment: -I flinched when you had a semi secure ground clamp above your bare head. One could argue that the pipe and lots of things are ground, but spring clamps are made special, they have some evil put in them. They slip and jump if a wasp farts, and the head is the last place you want to close an electrical connection with anything.
The paint will come off after a while with lots of extra hand washings with some Lava soap but don't break the skin trying to remove it with chemicals. Your skin grows back fairly quick naturally. The fencing looks great, now you realize why you pay so much for Rebecca's help, she's a great supervisor with the knowledge of correcting mistakes easily lol. She's so much help around there. We don't get tired of watching your fencing videos because you run into different situations on each new fence project and you show how to make the best of those problems with great ideas. Stay safe and keep up the good videos and fun you all have making them. Fred.
The same thing happened to me with the paint. My solution was to gently scrub my hands every day, or twice a day, with a Scotch-Brite pad and apply hand lotion at night. New skin will quickly grow in, and the painted skin will sluff off. Good luck. You guys work hard. I am totally impressed with Rebecca handling the sacks of concrete. Wow.
Posts are looking great! You are SO lucky to have Rebecca! You guys are a real team! For the ditch, I would lay a culvert in the ditch, and cover around it in stone. That’s my idea, but check with Rebecca before you do anything! 😂
Hi, Evan and Rebekah! This video was definitely worth the wait. Rebekah, you are a boss on the post hole digger! You go, Girl! Awesome fence. Very neat and tidy.
you guys have cleaned up the farm so meticulously ... I wonder if the previous owners would even recognise it now. what an awesome asset you will have built up now... well done.
Wood or metal posts are like truck axles. They need support or bearings at ends and center (tire & differential). You can put sackrete in the bottom, add gravel or dirt (tamp in place) and add sackrete at top of hole. This will hold the post as well as solid concrete, save money and maybe extend the post life as it can "dry" out in dry seasons. Looks good!
I wouldn’t be making comments about how smart Rebecca is, she can stay out there and do the job as long as it takes. lol. I have watched her work since day one of that farm. lol Just kidding, we love you both. I can’t wait to see what is next. God bless
Yes, I use a roll of poly baler twine stretched between two points. The distance between those points varies. I guess it's humidity that affects the distance of how far it'll stretch without sagging to touch the ground. I use a piece of rebar to pin the string aside while I drill a line of holes. I have flagged where I want the holes, then rolled up the string, but those flags have got expensive.
Videos have got to come second to getting on with life. Us having to wait a little longer for them is not a problem, they are always worth waiting for and something to look forward to.
Amazing job guys! I have been building my fence as well and I know the video doesn't quite portray the full scope of work it takes to accomplish a DIY project of this magnitude. Once the fence is done and this pasture is usable I know yall will definitely enjoy the fruits of your labor. God Bless you both!
Evan, try some waterproof sandpaper to sand off the black paint. Just don't be too aggressive on your skin. Note: After seeing Rebecca handle those 66 lb cement bags, I would not want her to get too upset!
No one could ever say that you don't work hard, because you two do so much. Should be a strong fence. The occasional problems you run into or the oops are important to notice for all of us. You always use it as a learning tool and we always get to learn from any mistakes you make. Thanks.
We use a product called OSPHO. It is a solution containing phosphoric acid. It is fairly thin and can be applied with a garden sprayer. Ospho is a rust converter that turns the pipe black afterward. It does give you an extended time period for top coating. Give it a shot. You will be amazed. And since the solution is fairly thin, it will flow all the way down to the pipe/ soil interface. By the way, Evan, you really need to cap those posts before painting. If you leave them open, the pipe will collect rain and cause internal corrosion in the pipe.
Great job to Rebecca on puttin in the holes you guys are a good team Keep the vids coming That rust preventative paint is the hardest to get off I agree 😊😊
Just a thought about your weed problem in the gravel areas. I've had pretty good luck with a follow up after spraying and waiting for the initial die back of growth by using a weed burner torch. Clean and simple and very effective...
Enjoying this series of fence construction. Previous projects are paying off (generator, welder, etc.) Doing the right thing the right way. Great Video...
Your fence posts look great, Kevin. You and Rebekah have done a wonderful job. So sorry the paint isn't coming off your skin. Don't worry about getting videos out more often, you have a monstrous job going here and you sure want to be done before the dog days of summer. We understand that. Take care...put some gloves on and have a Blessed day.
You guys work so hard . I will be , and I know You will be glad when it's all done !!!! It's been a while since You have posted & I was beginning to wonder if You were OK; I LOVE YOU BOTH !!!!!! 🥰 🥰
Wash dishes by hand for a few days. It may loosen the black. BTW, we use OSPHO to treat our steel. It's used by ocean underwater welders on steel they take below to weld. Read the instructions.
This advice is late, but may still help. Pour a small amount of light grade (new) motor oil on your hands in normal (lenghty) hand washing pattern. Work it in for a few minutes, then gently wipe hands in soft cloth. Put some top/sub soil in a bucket & turn it into a muddy paste. Grab handfuls of this paste & again hand washing procedure. When ready grab a good amount in both hands, go sit in the shade until you feel it drying on your skin. Rinse off /repeat mud application & you should see a big difference. I used this practice, after working on old ,greasy tractors.
Restoring old trucks, putting it on rusty H beams, and many other rusty metals , I have used it for years , you can't beat POR 15 !!!!! I love this rust inhibitor !!! I buy it by the pints. I find that I have to use the whole pint each time. I have never been able to save a partial can because I can't get the lid off . Enjoy your videos. Be safe and God bless you all !!! Eddy
Good job on fence poles. You’ve come a long way from putting in those first wooden posts several years ago. And what a great change in equipment as well. Kudos!!!
I've enjoyed seeing how you put the fence together. Never boring. Thanks for taking the time to share. Can't wait to see how many animals you get to put in the new pasture. Best wishes as always, D
I'm a Rebekah fanboy! Shes such a good partner to you Evan. Way to go Rebekah! She puts up with ya and helps you. She's pretty awesome! Ive got an awesome lady like that!
Awesome job , thanks for bringing us along!!!!! I really like that por15 , I use it on vehicle frames and almost anything else we don't want to rust out and have to replace !!!!! Awesome progress 👍
You go Rebecca!!! 60 pound bags!!! My wife can too but you make it seem easy. You could use a UTV for going back and forth to the shop (I could too, just no money for a UTV...)
Paint on your hands is the sign of someone who actually does some work.!! Thank you for all your posts and the growth of your farm is clearly pushing ahead. Best wishes from the UK
I have just found your channel and enjoy the content . One word of advice when grinding ,welding or cutting be sure your truck and tractor is either far enough away or protect the glass from the sparks as it will burn into the glass. I speak from experience! I enjoy what you do so keep up the good work.
Evan if you haven't already tried it, you might want to give some Olive oil a go to get that off of your skin. We've found over the years that its great at getting pinetar and just about anything off that soap and water doesnt. And you get nice soft skin too! :)
I’ve used “Iron Clad” paint products in the past. Repainting environmental drill rigs , they live outside in the weather. A good product at a reasonable price.
It's completely understandable, you took time off to get the fence done, it needs to happen videos or not. That is valuable time. Fencing takes time when you do it yourself. Glad to see the progress and everything is going well. Thanks for the updates! We'll see ya next time!
i always try to "drive down the fence line " when i drill post holes it helps to keep it in line. is all good you are doing ALL the work not us keep safe but have fun too
You don't realise how much you enjoy a channel until there hasn't been a video for a few days and you find yourself scrolling to see if you missed one ❤❤❤ 😂😂
Haha this has been me too!
Love all of your work Evan.
It's reassuring others are doing the same! Me and my young kids were checking to make sure we have missed😊
Hi..... Evan and Rebecca thanks you for showing your video homestead bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
You have a very helpful wife. She reminds me of my late wife, always willing to lend a hepling hand. I lost her 2 years ago after 62 wonderful years.
My Dolores past away in 2020 of Covid. We had only 6 years and ten months when she past . But I know how you feel. She had two sons she adopted wen she was 45 and 48 two brothers. Good luck with the hand cleaning. Men sure do have an aversion to reading instructions. 😅
Would Rebecca let you,or her mom and dad out there barefoot,,,or in sandals,,,why does she ,,it’s becoming uncomfortable to watch her,,just sayin
Losing your love is bitter & sweet....although it is the sweetness that will eventually greet you every morning & sustain you during the day.
I appreciate ALL your hard work to give us videos. Thank you. ❤❤

Evan, life has to come first. Post video's when you can. :) Love the content.
I am not only jealous of you guys and your farm but continuously amazed at the amount of work and precision you get done! Excellent work and thanx for the vids.
Becca needs to grab a chain saw in her flip flops, and she is a nurse😂
I love Rebecca kicking butt on the tractor.
Is she really a ER nurse,, ?in flip flops? please
be safe and smarter .

Rebecca, you handel the tractor like a real PRO. Good for you. Evan, you are a lucky dude to have such a partner in your life. Thanks for sharing.
Rebekah never ceases to amaze me! She’s not afraid to tackle anything, unless there are mice involved.
I love how you take most our comments as well meaning even though you get inundated. It makes sticklers like me go easy on you. Rebekah, you are the star of this show. 👍👍👍
You guys do very nice work Evan and Rebecca. Your place is beautiful.
I love to see her running the tractor. She is wonderful help. You need to take her out to diner. Or I will!!!
All the hard work really starting to look so good. The finish will be so worth it.

That post leveler is a game changer! Just run a string and line them up. Good on Rebecca!

that fence is going to be a work of art when you are done
I'm sure Evan has taken a tip or two from Farmer Tyler Ranch on oil field pipe fencing.
Rebekah is becoming a skilled machine operator. Willing and able to tackle any job.
I don't mind fence welding videos. It's really coming along. The creek opening should be interesting..
Do enjoy anything and everything that you post. Do what you can, when you can.
Evan, try some waterproof sandpaper to sand off the black paint. Just don't be too aggressive on your skin. Note: After seeing Rebecca handle those 66 lb cement bags, I would not want her to get too upset!

Great Video...
You have been busy, for sure. I do appreciate your taking the time for the videos, and I do understand the long periods between.
I think Rebeca should be your Farm manager she's very smart, thoughtful, and full of ideas lol x
She has to respect safety & wear long pants & sturdy boots every day.
Try warm olive oil with a cloth towel for few minutes.
Your fence posts look great, Kevin. You and Rebekah have done a wonderful job. So sorry the paint isn't coming off your skin. Fill that spillway with big river rocks that way the water will still drain through.
Rebecca did Great on the TYM 2515. Boots on 👢 👢 and no flip flops today 🚫🩴🩴🐃🐃🪵🪵🪵🪵🚜❤ Great post video. Evan 😎👍
You are systemtically & highly organized which is presented throughout your property such. This approach guarantees success for you & wife's.
I so enjoy your posts do not get bored at all you do a wonderful job. Love you both what a wonderful farm you are building.
Thanks Evan and Rebecca for letting us tag along.
I have been watching them putting up fences for several years now and I am sort of learning a lot. Going to put up a new fence on my property too.
You guys work so hard . I will be , and I know You will be glad when it's all done !!!! It's been a while since You have posted & I was beginning to wonder if You were OK; I LOVE YOU BOTH !!!!!! 🥰 🥰

I just love Rebecka's work boots🙂!
That is a wonderful farm worthy fence and safe for your animals.
I think you are both doing a great job!
Great job
Evan Re Rust preventive, use a Pumice stone to remove it from your hands in seconds, you are doing a great job.
Evan, we enjoy your videos. Rebecca is a big help to you. Looking good. Sorry you got paint on yourself. Have a great rest of your week. Thank you.

I have always used Ospho. Works great, and easy to use.
I was always taught to pound metal posts and dig wooden ones. However, whatever works, works.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I would absolutely pound oil pipe, never dig a whopping big hole and fill with cement.Pounded oil pipe to 4-5 feet will never move.
So good to see that auger working good and proper after you fixed it.
Lots of hard work but it will look awesome when done. Great job you two!

Your channel is informative. You take time to explain what task, project you are doing and include info.on produts you use.
Good job on fence poles. You’ve come a long way from putting in those first wooden posts several years ago.
And what a great change in equipment as well. Kudos!!!
Rebekah is so smart! She can do concrete math!
29 x 60 ,,,,,,,,,, 30 x 60 = 1800 minus 60, 1740 ....... took me 2 seconds
The fence is looking good, coming right along! I think it's going to look great once you're done. Thanks and have a nice night!
I've enjoyed seeing how you put the fence together. Never boring. Thanks for taking the time to share. Can't wait to see how many animals you get to put in the new pasture. Best wishes as always, D

Can you do a update on when I was Allis Chalmers tractor
Shame man you two are working hard and I for one will be patient for your videos. Love all your video reminds me so much of my dad. God bless 🙏❤️
HARD WORK, CAN PAY DIVIDENS I BELIEVE YOU ARE WELL ON YOUR WAY. ENJOY WATCHING .
You could dig a small pond in that area, it holds water so well.
If you ever need a well water source in that pasture, I can recommend a location. 🧐
your the only pearson i,v seen that takes the dirt off the hole
You go Rebecca!!! 60 pound bags!!! My wife can too but you make it seem easy.
You could use a UTV for going back and forth to the shop (I could too, just no money for a UTV...)
Awesome. Love your channel
I’m waiting for the fence material, you’re doing a great job . Thank you for sharing
Paint on your hands is the sign of someone who actually does some work.!! Thank you for all your posts and the growth of your farm is clearly pushing ahead. Best wishes from the UK
The fence looks great.
Posts look sharp!
Very enjoyable to watch, your hard workers that’s for sure, great team you two.
Good luck getting that paint off, the fence is looking GREAT !!!!!!!!!

Hi from New Zealand. Love your videos.
You two are doing an amazing job,
I’ve used “Iron Clad” paint products in the past. Repainting environmental drill rigs , they live outside in the weather. A good product at a reasonable price.
Make sure your concrete does not have a flare at the top. The frost will heave your posts. Keep it straight with the hole diameter. Nice job!
I always build an anthill of concrete around my posts so raunwater will drain off.
!
You both have a lot on your plates- no worries. Love watching the videos when they drop!
This fence will last forever. Thank you for sharing.
Good video... Best treatment for rusty metal is phosphoric acid. Converts rust to iron oxide then paint over it.
Great video !
It's completely understandable, you took time off to get the fence done, it needs to happen videos or not. That is valuable time. Fencing takes time when you do it yourself. Glad to see the progress and everything is going well. Thanks for the updates! We'll see ya next time!
Rebecca 2 for 2..... 1740 lbs and drill a new hole. WTG Rebecca!! Great video guys!
Use a lamb skin painter mitt, for painting those pipes.with a rubber glove underneath.
I love the fencing videos. Great content sir.
i always try to "drive down the fence line " when i drill post holes it helps to keep it in line. is all good you are doing ALL the work not us keep safe but have fun too
