Pretty late but for anyone wondering why- It's probably because of how big the guitars he used to have were. Nuno now has his guitars custom made to be smaller so he can play them comfortably.
The best guitar player in the world to me: great technique, clean, fast if he wants and an incredible melodic touch that is to me the most important thing in any player.
i dont know but all guitarrist sound the same to me, like is a copy of a copy, what is going on, same old scales, same finger tapping, i dont know i prefer funk rhytm, is cool and never passes
if you noticed, during the 80's, he wore his guitar closer to his chest..compared today, where he wears it really low.

Nuno was so into neoclassical style in his early years !!

His sense of melody is unique, not to mention accuracy

Agree, solo it's not that interesting.
NUNO NETTENCOURT did play some funk metal in NXTREME's Pornograffitti album.
Search for "Get the funk out".
leecop i think anybody who watch this know gtfo and this is a solo not a song like gtfo
This is a really boring solo.
It just sounds like he's going up and down some scales.
