Everyone needs to keep in mind btw that the 'Whiteout' storm we see in Frostpunk 2 is supposed to be an equivalent storm in terms of danger as the 'Great Storm' from the end of the first game, meaning that the storm that was always seen as the end of times in the first game is now just a regular occurrence in this game.
@@corporalsilver6981 I don't think that the "Great Storm" from FP and the Whiteouts we saw in the FP2 Beta are the same. The duration of the Great storm was ~1 week with a peak temperature of -150°C. Meanwhile the Whiteouts were +20 weeks long and at a consistent -100°C. There has to be a different reason why the world of Frostpunk keeps freezing more and more as the timeline continues. I'm super excited to continue the story of New-London and maybe we get to know why this new ice age has started in first place.
@@Mr.Villager1 thats a cool idea. The architecture in Frostpunk is overall super interesting. Sadly I already showed the closest zoom factor available in the Beta of FP2. however the release of the game got delayed to 20th september and they collected feedback from the Beta in april and are implementing some new game mechanics. Among other things there will be "Zoom stories", that's most likely what you are looking for. It's a very close zoom option to a building of your choice. I'll link the post, where they confirmed it: store.steampowered.com/news/app/1601580/view/4203628368742496775
You mean whats the difference between the 2 games? FP2 is not only a Survival City Builder the main focus is on politics and democracy. You need to satisfy every "fraction" of your citizens and compromise alot in between the "right" thing to do and what the different Fractions want you to do. On paper it sounds Boring, but trust me the game delivers the same feeling like the first Frostpunk, as you saw in the Video. The Composer is the same as from FP1 THE CITY MUST NOT FALL
I don't think you'll recognize a single thing of the mechanics outside of the theme and the whole generator. Definitely worth the price@@camerondavis6659

It’s…. beautiful.
"347 Citizen have frozen to death" (message in the right corner of the screen/during my first whiteout)
but I'm glad you liked it
THE CITY MUST NOT FALL
Is it possible to make a more closer zoom...? I would love to study its architecture and remake it in Minecraft 😅
