God I love how it sounds like a march. It's such a change from the first game. It instills a sense of organization and to a certain extent, a heartbeat to the city.
Civil War is a thing in frostpunk tho..that is..total domination..who get to control the city..swaying politics...what worst...they just killing each othere..and destroying the places...over one thing they forgot they on dead world..frozen wasteland and destroying each othere make thing worst...heck..even Stewart had to make decisions
@@joya8292 isn't Frostpunk 2 too early for ww1? I think it would be more accurate if there were Napoleon style line battles but with bolt action rifles, and maybe even semi auto considering their advanced technology
@@ham_the_spam4423 Considering WW1 started in 1914 and the game starts in 1916, no I don't think its too early. The Napoleonic Wars would of happened over 100 years prior by the time of Frostpunk 2 and about 70 years before Frostpunk 1
@@nicbahtin4774 To be fair to improve our city we DO have to send a bunch of people to a poison gas hellscape. And it stays uninhabitable forever What frustrates me about them is that I did try to keep good relations with pilgrims. I passed a few laws in their favour, kept them deradicalised. Didn’t matter. Bunch of bad apples started a fire. Still managed to somehow keep the city together. (A lot of researchers were whipped in the process) Despite that still find the pilgrims kinda neat. 11 bits cooked with the finale
@@atenek9243 for me it's evolvers and faith keepers and yea even before the white out i trivialized the whole game had every need taken care off. also i have no one die from the gas cause i have enough heatstams and building materials to get all the cores safely. so evolvers are being a bunch of annoying nannies for not settling out side decided to exile all of them even build them a brand new self sufficient town with wind protection. they still cry about it. i don't know why the game gave them chances of survival "poor". 11 really cooked it with the finale i wanted a frost punk empire with cars and planes cause i have oil and "defeated the frost" yet not one green tree on the horizon.
@@nicbahtin4774 Interesting so whichever faction the captain used to rule will be the one that wants to upgrade the generator and the newcomers will want to colonise the wastes. For me stalwarts wanted upgrades and pilgrims colonisation.
I bought the game at preorder but turns out i had to upgrade my generator. Now i tightly balance my budget to save 800 to upgrade. "Anger" ost from 1:45 especially encapsulates it perfectly
