For all the people that feel the need to announce that they didn’t think Cynthia was hard, most that did find her hard were trying to beat her at age 7 like me so cut some slack lmao.
The people who didn’t think Cynthia was hard either over-leveled their team (like I did with Ruby when I was 7) or looked up her team beforehand. Her Garchomp’s speed alone stomps most casual teams.

WTF...out of all of the Gen 4 compilations, this was the best one due to how truly amazing every music was executed here. Gen 4 is definitely an archrival of Gen 5 when it comes to music. Dialga and Palkia theme in D/P when it started playing exceeded my expectations of how great it sounded and it was my first time hearing the theme too.
I NEED to see how they remaster/re-arrange this godly soundtrack for the remakes. My childhood nostalgia-riddled brain depends on it as much as oxygen.

Yeah, I’m a bigger fan of the 2D style and retro-esque soundfont too, but I’m just glad to be getting a new spin on one of my favorite games. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Besides, it’s not like the original goes away. Nothing is lost- at worst, disappointments happen! Nothing ventured, nothing gained imo. But change isn’t favored by everyone, and that’s valid. The originals do have more charm if you ask me.

@@pokemongurlz somehow people were able to figure out how to access and make their own servers via DNS to get pokemon from previous events and GTS trade despite Nintendo shutting down those servers years ago. There’s plenty of tutorials and it’s pretty neat, but it doesn’t work for 3DS games sadly.
The wi-fi connection 'waiting' theme and the gts theme has to be one of my favorites from sinnoh ^^ (it has been such a long time since i have heard those teams at all)

The fact that the graphics aren’t that good is part of the game’s charm tbh. The pixel art just works for the Pokemon games and, while I love that they updated to 3d in 2013, I do sometimes wish that the games were kept in a pixelated fashion.
Cyrus theme hits really, REALLY hard. He was the first antagonist that felt like a real threat to existence. Dude literally held the GODS hostage, and came so close, literal FOOTSTEPS, to succeeding in his goal. Plus, his team is terrifying when used in competitive singles. Dude knew exactly what he was doing, and calculated everything needed to succeed. Which, he would have, if not for some meddling kid!
For those who say cynthia’s garchomp will be easier in the remakes because we now have fairy types... I had the sudden realization: She has 3 fairy killers on the team before you get to even score a hit on Garchomp. 1 is forgotten due to how easy it is to ko 1 is very obvious And the last one is a surprise.
She will be much easier because every Pokémon game is easy af now. Look at how omega ruby and sapphire turned out, you’re always over leveled without even grinding
