AI professor theme is amazing. I still remember how fucking terrified I was when fighting AI Turo. I was screaming in fear aa I had no idea what the typing would be, funniest part was I was in a discord call with a friend for the whole fight. Best boss fight especially since Ultra Necrozma.

4:21 Professor turo and sada is one of the best final boss themes in Pokémon but I wish they had version exclusive themes like professor turo has the normal boss theme they have but professor has a more rock and metal theme and matches the punk rock vibe of the scarlet paradox Pokémon
I feel like all of Generations 5, 7 and 9 have been unique in the series and I’m talking about their stories, soundtracks, characters, world building, environments and of course their Pokémon, not to mention the fact that they gave us three of the best starter trios in the series. Gen 5 was different as until the post game, it only focused on new Pokémon, many of which are some of the best in the series. It also had a great story told across two games and an awesome soundtrack. Gen 7 was very different from what everyone was used to. It did away with the grid moving system and the traditional gym battles and gave everyone something more fresh in the island trials, the Z-moves, the Ultra Beasts, the regional variants and so much more. Not to mention having great characters, great story, great environments, great world building, great soundtrack and great Pokémon. Gen 9 was only even More different. The soundtrack, story, gameplay, Pokémon, characters, environments, world building and soundtrack felt unique on a whole new level. Featuring things like the soundtrack changing with the environment, one of the best starter trios we’ve gotten to date, the introduction of gym challenges, the terastalisation ability, the Paradox Pokémon, the divergent species, the three different storylines, the characters, and even just the theme to Area Zero itself.
Man i surely love this games, the epic moment when you first arrive on Area Zero, the music, the ambience is just too perfect... Also the Nemona Final Battle Theme SLAPS!!!
Before these games even came out, I completely called it that everyone would hate these games, considering how toxic they were with their hate towards Gen 8. And yet even though these games are arguably more unpolished than gen 8, this generation STILL doesn't get nearly as much hate as that generation got!
the hate is extreme every time, especially with gen9, if someone doesn't like the game then they should just dont play it. of course the developers do some things extremely badly, but i'm having fun and that's the most important thing for me. and people really can't complain about the music. All in all i wish they would put more effort into graphics and performance, but as long as the gameplay, the story and the OST are good i'm happy :)
Well because there is a genuinely good game underneath the technical issues. By comparison Gen 8 had nothing, the most barebone story and region by far.
It's because, except for a few details like a few songs, the Dex and the town designs, Gen 8 was really bad. They're barebone games with the bare minimum, horrible development, few activities, empty map, subpar plot, ridiculous villains at post game, underdeveloped characters and so on, while Gen 9 has a miriad of technical issues, yes, and lack something here or there, but are vastly better developed games with loads of lore and pokemon with real quests behind them, lovable and developed characters, killer soundtrack, awesome model textures (people and pokemon) and a superb and very well paced plot.
Initially I didn't care for Penny's battle theme but it wouldn't be til one night my vidya playlist randomly played it and I had an awakening that its actually pure concentrated fire. An absolute party banger of a track. It actually became my favorite theme to come out of gen 9 over Nemona and Sada/Turo battle theme.
It’s because gen 9 as a whole is way better than gen 8 lets be honest that gen was disappointing imo the wild area was boring story wasn’t interesting at all same with the characters gen 9 brought back what Pokémon has been missing good story characters and music despite the issues scarlet and violet have these are the best Pokémon games to date
the fact that the performance is not good is a point of criticism for me, but i was able to enjoy the game very much overall! also because of the very good soundtrack!
THE TERA RAID BATTLE THEME IS STRAIGHT HYPE! I remember playing the game the morning it came out before school, getting to a raid, battling the raid, and yelling over how good the music was
Imo the best trainer theme in the game is Champion Kieran. The guitar went so hard and the build up from the previous themes to a satisfying song that builds on everything he's gone through
I wish the dlc included an option to battle the original professor before they returned to their own time. I imagine their teams would consist of what their respective paradox pokémon are based on. Turo with Delibird, Tyranitar, and Hydreigon. Sada with Magneton, Salamence, and Amoongus. Both sharing Cyclizar, Volcarona, and Donphan. Their battle theme would be a remix of "VS AI Sada/Turo," but more calm and friendly. Since it's dlc postgame and it can be difficult to find, if you don't know where to look, it would be the hardest battle in the game
Parts of the OST (at least 43 to my knowledge according to the official Scarlet and Violet soundtrack) were made by Toby Fox. you know, THE GUY WHO MADE UNDERTALE. The music is absolutely peak.
This was a very impressive set of edits Marc. I thouroughly enjoyed the smells and bells of a generation wrongly accused of being bad, when it was actually almost peak. Well done!
Of course the team star themes go hard as hell but i have to highlight the crystal pook theme. I had no clue what was at the top of the mountain in my first go-through and suddenly seeing the Tera crystals i'd only seen in area zero, and then the music changing to that soft eerie theme..... genuine chills man. I felt like i stepped through a portal back into area zero

RIP people who got the E4 music loop bug.( Also Penny and Team Star Bosses having Melancholic tones at some bits was a smart idea cause they were outcasted and bullied by the other people ) I recall pausing and listening to Penny's theme, All of Area Zero's themes ( the fact you put Fuecoco in the area Zero soundtrack by then Baritone was the first lvl 100 ), Sada and Turo's theme the best boss theme ever imo, close would be Ultra Necrozma. Quartet, Loyal Three. Note I never really paid attention to a song save for N's Farewell, Cynthia's theme and Meteor Falls ( perhaps all of gen 3's songs )cause I was younger then.
Despite its issues imo Pokemon scarlet and violet have the best Pokémon story in awhile haven’t had a good Pokémon story since sun and moon because imo we can all agree gen 8 absolutely sucked was so boring I mean music was good but there was no story and the characters had no character development at least in gen 9 it finally brings back that mysterious story feel for Pokémon and the characters in Pokémon scarlet and violet are probably the best written characters since gen 5 game freak gave the characters in gen 9 a lot of character development imo Pokémon Scarlet and violet will always hold a special place in my heart ♥️ 💜 don’t care about it’s issues had a lot of fun with these games

Gotta say my favorite song was The Terapogos + Keiran Theme it was just AMAZING. The Indigo Disk made up for the lack of decent music in the Teal mask!(In my opinion). In base game tho, Nemonas Final theme and anything from Area ZERO was Incredible!
I will admit: Sword/Shield will always take the crown as having the best Champion theme in the entire franchise. A full remix of the Hall of Fame theme for the Undefeated Champion of Galar, the one trainer who has never seen a single loss in his career... That's just such a based theme. But as a whole, SV destroys SwSh in the soundtrack department, absolutely no fucking shot.

Imo the best trainer theme in the game is Champion Kieran. The guitar went so hard and the build up from the previous themes to a satisfying song that builds on everything he's gone through
I wish the dlc included an option to battle the original professor before they returned to their own time. I imagine their teams would consist of what their respective paradox pokémon are based on. Turo with Delibird, Tyranitar, and Hydreigon. Sada with Magneton, Salamence, and Amoongus. Both sharing Cyclizar, Volcarona, and Donphan. Their battle theme would be a remix of "VS AI Sada/Turo," but more calm and friendly. Since it's dlc postgame and it can be difficult to find, if you don't know where to look, it would be the hardest battle in the game
The synth of Levincia City and the accordion of Arven’s battle throw me right back to gen 5. This is probably my fav ost since b and white 2
The music in the ENTIRE Pokemon series have always been consistently amazing and banging. They're the major reason why I'm enjoying Gen 9 so much.
Parts of the OST (at least 43 to my knowledge according to the official Scarlet and Violet soundtrack) were made by Toby Fox. you know, THE GUY WHO MADE UNDERTALE. The music is absolutely peak.

I recall pausing and listening to Penny's theme, All of Area Zero's themes ( the fact you put Fuecoco in the area Zero soundtrack by then Baritone was the first lvl 100 ), Sada and Turo's theme the best boss theme ever imo, close would be Ultra Necrozma.

in my opinion there is nothing to complain about the music in gen9, most people agree on that :)
Despite its issues imo Pokemon scarlet and violet have the best Pokémon story in awhile haven’t had a good Pokémon story since sun and moon because imo we can all agree gen 8 absolutely sucked was so boring I mean music was good but there was no story and the characters had no character development at least in gen 9 it finally brings back that mysterious story feel for Pokémon and the characters in Pokémon scarlet and violet are probably the best written characters since gen 5 game freak gave the characters in gen 9 a lot of character development imo Pokémon Scarlet and violet will always hold a special place in my heart ♥️ 💜 don’t care about it’s issues had a lot of fun with these games

Gotta say my favorite song was The Terapogos + Keiran Theme it was just AMAZING. The Indigo Disk made up for the lack of decent music in the Teal mask!(In my opinion). In base game tho, Nemonas Final theme and anything from Area ZERO was Incredible!

I will admit: Sword/Shield will always take the crown as having the best Champion theme in the entire franchise. A full remix of the Hall of Fame theme for the Undefeated Champion of Galar, the one trainer who has never seen a single loss in his career... That's just such a based theme.
But as a whole, SV destroys SwSh in the soundtrack department, absolutely no fucking shot.

Why are all the Electric Gym Leader cities awesome themes? Vermilion, Mauville, Sunnyshore, Nimbasa, Lumiose and now Levincia. Maybe the Gym Leaders are musicians in their downtime as an army sergeant, local electrician, model, babysitter and VTuber?
It's great because the Ursaluna encounter was a slight remix of Alpha battles in PLA.

Geetas champion theme is pretty awesome, but the battle was such a joke I didn’t get to enjoy it for very long. Violet is still the most fun I’ve had in a Pokémon game though
