It's not like you get free shinies, aith the shiny charm I am currently 3 sandwiches into a Fidough hunt which is an hour and a.half and still don't have it. My friend has been masuda'ing Sprigatito for a couple hours for several days and still doesn't have it. Shinies are now reasonable to obtain, but still rare enough you gotta hunt.

Toby Fox only composed four/five songs, depending on if you count the field theme melody. Teruo Taniguchi is the only one who hasn’t composed in a main-line Pokemon game before, and Hiromitsu Maeba composed for Legends Arceus (and also the excellent Great Ace Attorney soundtrack). The rest of them have all been composing for Pokémon games since at least Black and White.

If there’s something that GF has always done right is their music. I know they’ve struggled immensely with their games since transitioning to 3D, but their music has slapped so hard. Each game that comes out since XY I see myself loving more and more of their battle themes. For the first time, every battle theme got me intrigued. Sword and shield had some amazing beats but not every single one hit. Here? Every wild theme is amazing. Love the nemona battle. Arvens theme Makes me dance for some reason 🤣 the trainer theme just hits right. PENNY MAKES ME VIBE, AND MAN THAT PROFESSOR BATTLE THEME GOOD GOD. I absolutely love this games battle tracks!
it's because they've got like seven composers, each of which could make a great ost all by themselves. Go Ichinose and Junichi Masuda have worked on the soundtracks since forever, Minako Adachi composed bangers like Guzma's theme and the SwSh gym battle theme, and Hiromitsu Maeba did the soundtracks for the Great Ace Attorney games, which are outstanding.

If the Undertale community can agree on one thing, it is that Toby Fox is an *amazing* songwriter and you can see that in the Area Zero theme, which might be the best track in the Pokémon Scarlet/Vioket OST imo. The rest of the team should obviously be credited that much as well, all of them composed this awesome OST together
The East Providence theme is legit a masterpiece. All the route themes in this game are amazing but when that one started playing it legit blew me away.

My favorite tracks are the sandwich track, the area zero track for the Great crater, penny's theme and the final battle of the game in area zero. All of the tracks slap though. This game gives me similar track vibes to Gen 5 which I think is partly why I thoroughly enjoy this game despite its bugs, glitches and performance issues, once those are fixed, these games will definitely surpass sw/sh
I feel like it already surpasses sw/sh even WITH the shit performance. If the performance were good, it could possibly surpass gen 5. But for now, it stays beneath gen 7 as my third favorite.

This game is one of the funnest main game Pokémon games that have come out in a while. Not only does the music slap, the story is great, and I genuinely love all the heart in the game. Especially the fact that so many characters are built out and you have a sense of freedom within the game that no other Pokémon game has.
Well they are always there. The stakes and shrines are always available to tackle, just the lore and such is locked behind Raifort. So if you could somehow tackle the high level the Quartet have and shuck enough Pokeballs to capture, it's possible.

If you look at VGC, Diamax and Tera(s) feet well into the meta. I know some of the Single player will disagree with this but I would be happy if Mega(s) or Z-move remain in the Past and Diamax remain out of Gen 9. But I definitely want more Paradox Pokemon. I'm hoping for a patch. The whole release snd then fix theme companies have had to do is annoying but considering that the pokemon company and Nintendo have a set release timeframe for gamefreak, it's not entirely on the A team for it. I'm certain the games would have had vast improvement if they had at least 6 more months or a year to work on it longer.

If you look at VGC, Diamax and Tera(s) feet well into the meta. I know some of the Single player will disagree with this but I would be happy if Mega(s) or Z-move remain in the Past and Diamax remain out of Gen 9.
But I definitely want more Paradox Pokemon. Could you Imagine some other pokemon with these form?

I'm hoping for a patch. The whole release snd then fix theme companies have had to do is annoying but considering that the pokemon company and Nintendo have a set release timeframe for gamefreak, it's not entirely on the A team for it. I'm certain the games would have had vast improvement if they had at least 6 more months or a year to work on it longer.
The tutorial battle theme is just there for a traditional fake-out, then you get disco-ed *hard* with that slap bass in the south province.
It may be the techno influence, but I feel SV has a better sound to it than SWSH.

I also really love the OST, I also love Toby Fox content but please it is EXTREMELY annoying to see everyone just thanking Toby Fox for everything, there were others very good composers and Toby just made the final area, final area battle, final boss, tera raid, nemona, and a fews forgivable, they were mostly together to do music, he did like tera raid and maybe the final boss alone.
