- When I got the #tr6s next to the #mc101 I thought I will not use the drumkits of the MC-101 again soon. Just because I fell in love with the ACB sounds of the TR-6S.
When I started to produce the drums for this house beat on the MC-101, the machine proved me wrong.
I love the crispy, some times too clean and lower quality than the TR-6S of it!
I want to learn how to make good transitions with these boxes, thats really missing in this track.
Put on your dancing shoe's and party hard. ;)

Question: What benefits are there to using drums in the MC-101 with pairing these together? Why not use all drums only in the TR6s and all 4 tracks for tone tracks on the 101?

Thanx dude. I use my Huawei P30 phone for video. Sound is recorded straight out of the groovebox via a simple Behringer mixer into the Korg MiniKaosspad2. That recorded WAV file goes into Cubase to process with a multiband comp. And a Maximizer. Then sound and footage are combined with windows moviemaker. 😅
I recently got the mc101 to go with the tr6s. How do I listen to both of them with or without speakers? How do you connect both of them to a daw? Thanks for your videos!
Hi man.. I did not connect them to a daw.. I love to work without a PC (just use it for Video montage) I recorded both gear via mixer into mini Koaspad KORG.. That wav file I mastered a bit in Audacity on the PC and mix a vid with it in a basic vid editor.. :)

All that's missing is the "E's" and I'm back in the 1990's, now you need to figure out how to transition to another track without buying another MC 101 and TR-6S.

I have a Mc-101 and a volca sample. I haven’t been using the volca a lot, I don’t really like how it loads samples. I’ve been thinking about getting a tr-6s. I can also get a used tr-8s for about the same price. Have you ever wished you had the 8s instead? The downside of the 8s to me is the much larger size.
I use the Volca Sample only for fun now and days. And yes I really love the small form factor of the TR-6S. Together with the Mc 101 it's more then enough tracks for me.. I love the portability of them.. Can go to bed with them 😜😉
