please can you make a video about preventive grey hairs or the treatment for grey hairs? i am in my middle 20s and already having a lot of grey hairs on my beared and my head hairs. i looky way more older. i really need your advise on this topic. would be helpful for all of your patients and subscribers.
Not only is the RDA for vitamin C written for people that consume carbs, it was artificially increased. When they came up with the RDA, they knew it was an antioxidant so they decided to add more to the RDA because they thought that was a good thing. Having too many exogenous antioxidants is not a good thing because some level of oxidation is required.
From a practical standpoint, is it actually possible to outpace oxidation via supplements? I mean with oxidation being a neverending, perpetual process while supplementation is usually intermittent at best, relatively speaking.
@@kittendkat5100 Oxidation is essential to life. It is unlikely you could or would want to outpace it. The strongest antioxidants in the human body include glutathione and uric acid. The human body makes both of them and they do not need to be consumed.
Would high stress levels effect the ability for your cells to take in Vitamin C? So even on the carnivore diet if one lived a very stressful life (e.g. has daily emotional abuse) would it be wise to supplement vitamin c? (because high stress increases glucoses levels.)
Sorry offtopic. I started using tretinoin 0.05%. I have used it for there nights straight. But i don't get any purging, irritation or peeling. Is it working? I am 23 male.
Wondering the same, after using Tarazene 0,1 from Boderm which is said to have similar strenght to Tretinoin 0,1... Except slight pinching for minute or so and then mild redness which also disappered quickly nothing else happens... However, some "delayed side effects" can appear later on, there I suppose we should carefully observe our skin anyway.
@@wdobrymkierunku9551 yeah ur right. Now i am focusing on hydration just by applying plain Vaseline or sometimes squalane oil. As i am getting a little stinging sensation when i apply my sunscreen.
My dermatologist left a huge crater in my nose with a laser; the scar (6 weeks old) is depressed, like a hole.. they don’t help me!! What should I do?? Can I micro needle it? 😩
That’s exactly the point, it would be nice if he explains why he doesn’t like it if he likes to take the scientific and transparent approach to his content

amazing video that deserves more views but how could you not mention the importance of other molecules only found in the whole Food vitamin C complex such as tyrosinase?
We definitely can get it, it is fat soluble vitamin after all. So wherever there is animal fat there will be some. We also need way less on a carnivorous diet since fat metabolism for energy leads to less oxidative stress and eating lots of meat upregulates our master antioxidant, that is glutathione, so overall there is a great vitamin E sparing effect on carnivore. Most concentrated animal sources of vit E will be will typically be seafood and grass fed beef and dairy fats, agaik. Eggs can contain decent amounts as well, that really depends on the feed type and quality.
As always, brilliant lecture, making understanding complex things much easier.
Dr. Abs, you have a gift, I wish I was your student .

Have you had your thyroid levels checked 🎉
Love your content, but also appreciate the Videography, Lighting, Audio, Editing, etc., etc.
A pleasure to watch, and listen to.
I’m carnivore, too and people frequently ask me about vitamin C, now I have a way to explain why I don’t need to supplement. Thanks
Great explanation, more depth than I’ve heard before 🙂
Thank you my friend ☺️

Can you please address vitamin C supplements or in fruit form turning into oxalates? I'm scared of taking my supplement.
I am also curious about this.
Interesting the tip of taking vitamine C between meals instead that with meals

Stress depletes adrenals and vitamin C replenishes adrenals
Can you please make a Vedio on dark neck
thanks for this info
Dark neck and armpits ect is due to insulin resistance and diabetes.

So would vitamin c from, say, an orange not have a positive impact on health because of the carbs contained within the orange?
there are not much carbs in an orange
@@MiguelS992 what about the sugar though?
@@Bewareofthewolves same thing
Yes, and aspirin competes with the same pathways. Take vit c, glucose and aspirin away from each other
I'm curious what do u think about sculptra or plla type stimulators.Would you prepare a video about this content
