Yes, i was wondering why did that guy even said that, the show literally makes it clear that Shigaraki doesn't remember his past and that there's just fragments, that wasn't the time to show a whole backstory. xD

The swich of arcs wasn't bad tho, it lead to more build up and saves the best for later, i wouldn't say that's a bad change. But yes, fuck the movie.

Pretty sure they skipped out a bunch of spinners lines and dialogue from the manga because the animators decided it was better to showcase the more boring part of the show rather than the good part.

music-wise, I like how they made Shiggy's leitmotif into AfO's song on a busted up cello
7:40 is the part in the manga where they reveal/cement wherein Deku is going to stand for hard work and perseverance in the face of crushing hardship, Shigaraki is the one who'd rather table flip the whole world in the most epic rage quit cuz the rules are unfair and the game screwed him from day one

The only filler I will tolerate next season is an episode of vigilante deku that links into a movie about Vigilante Deku.
Now that made me fear more about them making another movie next season, S5 has been pretty conservative on animation because they have been putting most of their work in the movie.

Ok real question why is this arc being so badly handled we have had a lot of filler and flashbacks this season instead of ya know dedicating that time to adapting the manga like all the spinner stuff which made me adore his character plus more. Idk man I genuinely worry this arc could really hurt the show in my opinion it's just badly handled for no reason.
I think what's hurt this season the most is Bones having to do the new movie concurrently with anime. Maybe they thought they could do a threepeat since doing that went over more or less fine with S3 and S4 but having to split the team up and having to work around that while swapping arcs around to end with a bang has had... mixed results.
I'm still liking it but I wish it was stronger.

helluva boss plus my hero academia, today not that bad. Also I love twice relationship with everyone because he just got that personality where he can make friends with anyone. Plus Mr. Compress know what is really important because he instantly asked if his arm got damage insurance lol.
The Shigaraki flashback isn't shown in the manga until later, so be patient.
