Mha is one of the only new gens that still cares about emotion in fights. Choreography is cool but when you can reach the audience emotionally and have cool attacks... that's when a fight is memorable. 9/10 episode this is going down in the books.
For sure. Where this show lacks in well choreographed brawls like JJK, it more than makes up for it with the drama and character development. Even with just a few attacks being thrown around, this episode was so gripping and tense.
This why I always say that MHA is the naruto of this generation. Naruto had sick ass choreographed fights but they also had ALOT of emotional weight and drama to it, something a lot of new gens don’t seem to replicate well.
The Todoroki family is the perfect example of how much environment matters in development. Both brothers grew up the same, both filled with hate, but Shoto was surrounded by good friends who cooled him down. Dabi got taken in by the great manipulator and grew in hatred
Ok the voice actors for Dabi and Shoto went INSANE!! I mean I shouldn't be surprised like with how much range they have and how much expression they put into it cause the voice actors both voiced characters like Zenitsu from demon slayer (Dabi's VA) as well as like Eren from AOT and Kenma from Haikyuu (Shoto's VA) but holy crap they popped off!!
To give you guys an idea, “Flashfire Fist: Hell Spider” was the move Endeavor used when slicing up the top half of a building back when he fought the Hooded Nomu.
Toya some ways is what Shoto would have potentially turned if he didn't have the guidance (Deku & Class 1-A) and not become a person full of spite and pain.
Actually he didn’t burn the orphanage 😭😭 it’s indicate in volume 36 lmao that was not obvious for manga readers too that’s why Horikoshi write that note in the volume
@@RenkencenI will copy past you what was write in the volume : « It might be hard to tell from the visuals, but Touya got into an argument with Haruaki Sun-Sun and unleashed some fire before fleeing the facility. His weakened flames didn't burn the place to the ground though. The fire was put out easily enough. Fearing that his wicked deeds would be exposed, the doctor blamed Haruaki Sun-Sun for accidentally starting the fire, thus protecting the facility's dark secret. Since no one died and the story didn't make the news, heroes and the authorities were unfortunately none the wiser about the doctor's hidden atrocities. Maybe if the fire had been a bigger deal, the world wouldn't have ended up in its current state. This was an ironic crossroads, in a way. »
Outside of the fact it couldve used slightly more sakuga, this damm near surpassed the manga version for me, 9.5/10 art direction, 8/10 animation, 9/10 ep
Shoto's phosphor basically makes it so his body never overheats or freezes up, so he can basically do his max firepower and max cold power, and in this case it was pretty much absolute zero
AYOOO Tenya's cheeks were not necessary in this episode🤣 When Shoto said "Its my power, 🙂thank you", I couldn't help but tear up a lil. Such a great callback in a emotionally heavy fight. 10/10 ep imo, choreography doesn't always = how good a fight is, and I appreciate the fact that the directors knew this
Shoto embracing his power further as his own was honestly great to see. I couldn’t be prouder. Also, something I can never say enough is how I couldn’t imagine being in Touya’s place in those flashbacks. Like, he burned himself up, and the next thing he knew he was several years older and looked completely different and had a different voice. And then he went home, only to realize that his father had essentially just continued on. All of Touya’s fears had essentially come to life. It’s also honestly super sad that Shoto feels the need to carry all of the family’s hardships on his back when none of this should really be his responsibility. Unfortunately, Endeavor spent the last month or so completely neglecting Shoto and Touya, so he’s gonna have to fight All for One now instead, which sucks since Touya seems to really want to talk to him instead of Shoto, and I can’t say I blame him. Still though, I hope that Shoto can get through to Touya in some way. Touya may not want to admit it, bit they’re more alike than he thinks.
The thing i love about mha fights is that it ties you in emotionally, it may not have the best fights, but if you have elite music, emotions and a little bit of a fight, it makes a great episode and makes the audience feel every bit of it
I wasnt paying attention so i was confused at the bell sound. Thought maybe one of my cats was playing w toys. Thats an adorable little calico!! Shes licking you cause she likes you!😊
Even with so many flashbacks and not that much action, the weight of the emotions is what makes MHA so great for me. It’s really by and far a thematic character driven story and even the WORST arcs of MHA contribute to these PEAK moments. All this shit built up and just feels so much better when we start to tie up these long standing plot points. I would have never expected Todoroki to have been so positively influenced by Class 1-A and Midoriya, and to see him reach his full potential and move past the trauma to decide what kind of hero he wants to be is beautiful af. Kinda reminds me of All Might vs All For One back in S3. The fights arent special and lots of talking but the emotional impact is so strong. My heroes is so back!
i love how they heart all the comments ✨️ i keep waiting for your reactions when it comes to MHA i hope u guys are enjoying the season so far! it's basically much better for me than s6!
Idk if who's cat it is or if its your first time owning a cat, but kittens generally do best w another kitten so they can entertain each other and learn proper behavior. Also if you ever have issues where shes trying to get to something like your food while you're eating or playing with something she shouldn't- blow a quick breath at her face! They dont like it and it doesnt hurt them compared to other corrective actions. They'll learn quick to stop what they're doing.
@@Reanimatedyt that could be fun! Introducing them young helps a lot. My fiance and I have 5 cats and 1 dog lol. They play with each other and one seems to like the dog more than the other, they'll clean each other's ears and play fight alot.
THIS WAS FIRE. First of all dabi demon form was dope, now we just need to see toga's since we already seen shigaraki as well. Dabi was beating shoto ass with the craziest combos 11:43. Shoto fusing his fire and ice was actually really cool.

I believe the story telling are come first and a second is animation

MHA is NOT new gen
If this was 9/10, what would you consider 10/10? Not disagreeing, just curious

Season 7 has been cooking so far. If Bones can keep this level of consistency throughout, this may turn out to being the best season for MHA.

I'll forgive the final move lacking some spectacle because I know there is MUCH more fire to come in the war. This was just an appetizer.
