For some reason, this video is actually relaxing to me. Just listening to the smooth sound of that 1000T at sunset feels good to me although it suppose to be scary.
i deeply dread this noise. i fucking live by one of these sirens. just down the street. and it is a much different experience when you hear it firsthand, instead of this siren. i am absolutely horrified of this noise. i feel sick and sweaty. hearing it isn't directly the problem, but hearing it and knowing that you are possibly about to die and/or lose everything you ever owned in your life is what makes me so scared. i hate bad weather.
@kalinga01 I live in california, and would give anything to have one of those sirens across the street from me, and live in the heart of tornado alley....I dream of living with severe weather, and watching storms build up and become threatening, and the sirens going off...you have no idea how boring it is to live where there is no exciting weather.....
when watching your local news, in the radar, a hook echo, will be this storm. Somewhere in it, (usually in the bottom right or bottom left on radar) is a little notch that looks like a fishing hook with shrimp. It's shaped like a hook but the end of that curve is thicker. That's rotation and sometimes where the tornado is.
Oh yeah! It did! We actually did have the sirens set off 3 times!!! It was scary, i look back now and laugh. I cant wait for this summer. Get scared even more and more severe weather.....hehe....
Did this go anywhere near piqua? Because ( if i remember correctly ) Our sirens even went off for a tornado warning. Dad was playing on the PS2 downstairs, while me and mom are just casually sitting upstairs watching the weather, while im haveing a siezure in the process.
do you live in cincy or around cincy? also the siren in the background sounds like a whelen. my friend who lives in georgetown called my home around 9 p.m said they were under a warning.

the first siren in the beginning is a T-Bolt.
YAY!!!
exactly. i think when theres a tornado on the ground theres a donut shape where the hook echo used to be.
Me and my step dad were over in Cleves, OH when it went off. Over at the storage place.. By the fire dept.
No. It is a 5/6 port model. The 4/5 choppers sound like a Model 2T or an ACA Hurricane.

Great video Jason! Can you tell if the White Oak 1000T is rotating or not?

I'ma pimp. ;)~
This is just plain spooky - period! Those sirens are used for a good cause, but it's always for a tornado sighting - and that ain't good....
