I went to Madrid about 5 years ago now. Borja and his homie that owned Welcome Skateshop were so nice to me. They took me to parks a few days and were super fun to have a post skate beer with. Support those dudes! Cheers from the U.S.!

In 1980 skateboarding came from the Americans from Torrejone. In 1983 the first halfpipe was on base and the first ramp was in Royal Oaks. They were built by freestyle bikers not skateboarders. The miniboard was a ratfink. Trust me I know.

I'm not into skating but I liked this doc.
Simply showing skaters skating, talking about their spots, city... sometimes it's best to let the people do the talking without a reporter type of guy. Too peaceful, kind of un-vice like? Maybe.
But I like vice because of their versatility, and the wide range of subjects they show their subscribers. Cheers!

Does that make it right though? The city is most famous for the footbal club so people think that barca also stands for the city but it doesn't. In Spain the name barca is used ONLY when talking about the football club and never when referring to the city. Its not right to say you've been to Arsenal, when in fact you went to London.

Where did Jnco's ever go? I wish a company would make some comfortable jeans or cargo's for skating or skateboarding. Now there is an idea, market it with some narco movie money revenues and Korean sweat shops. And don't forget "Free the Tea Girl 2013" documentary where Shane will infiltrate North Korea for the last time to save the Tea Girl from moved to a sweat shop in Siberia. That would make a great fuck you to North Koreans government, and we could have tea and play ping pong in the end

There's enough out there on Barcelona. Aren't you stoked to learn about the other cities that don't get much international coverage ? If you want to know more about Macba, just type it in to google. The fact that you know about it in the first place means you can look it up. This video gives great insight to rich skate history that I didn't even know existed. Be grateful to the dudes who worked hard on this. Not giving you shit dude, just trying to help you think differently.

This video is more about the history of skateboarding in Spain and even tho, today, Barcelona is the epicenter of skateboarding in Spain it wasn´t really in the time skateboarding was growing up in Spain, it had a scene ofcourse but not really important. Anyways there are barcelona clips in the video.

Pues hombre, en 3 meses 9 pares muy normal no es, te recomiendo que uses pegamento de zapatillas de skate que te venden en cualquier tienda de skate por 10 pavos para los agujeros del kickflip y del ollie y un tipo de zapatillas muy buenas (no sé la marca de zapatillas de skate que usas) pueden ser Lakai, Emerica y DC de Skate que son zapatillas hechas única y exclusivamente para patinar de materiales muy buenos y resistentes.

yea i don't get it either. Barcelona is an iconic skate city. It's like a huge skatepark. It's one of the bset cities in the world to skateboard.

Yo soy de mexico en jalisco de guadalajara y vive en un pueblo poco desarrollado que no cuento con ningun park skate pero eso no me detiene a dia a dia salir y darle un rato con mis compas usamos una plaza como park y pues creo que funsiona bien pero pues en españa se vee que sobran parks igual un saludo desde guadalajara Sk8

nike sb o vans esas son las que yo uso, mis amigos me recomiendan circa y emerica pero yo uso mas vans y nike sb me duran meses y yo patino practicamente todo el dia.
Por cierto pregunta importante tengo un grandisimo problema me he gastado en 3 meses 9 pares de zapatillas porque hago horas y me podeis recomendar algunas que me duren?
Todas se van a romper.Creía que con las Vans duraban más pero en 1 semana ya tengo el empeine roto del flip :(
