Sooo impressed... Mexico is beautiful and to see it thru the eyes of the young and hopeful... Love it...
Brings back memories, I remember I went to Mexico with my parents when I was 12 and I took my board, some of my best memories. I thought I was going to be a professional but my parents crushed my dreams
This is an awesome video and an awesome representation of how Mexico really is... It's not all bloodshed and chaos... It's a beautiful country... My country!
this shits cool af. wish I could skate. Mexico is beautiful, so many older looking buildings
This was a great piece. These dudes are rad! Such positive attitudes about skating, and they were great ambassadors for Mexican skateboarding. My only complaint with some of the Vice videos as of late, is the awful background music! It sounds like the stock music that comes with iMovie. Some local Mexican music would have complemented this film so well! Still stoked on it tho.
Well, what do you know? a vice report about a Mexico that doesn't have anything to do with Cartels, Violence, Drugs, Drag Queens and other weird shit............
There's nothing wrong with Drag Queens and your comment is the first time I've ever heard of there even being Drag Queens in Mexico.
Fantastic video, I really like how these people go about their thing and that the video is in fact about skating rather than people running skate companies getting high, making it rain or being disruptive just to match a certain engineered aesthethic.
Mexico all the way!
Cuernavaca! great video respect to all the skaters in mexico pure talent down there
do more of mexico! its a great place and it has a lot of skate history
VICE Mexico is awesome they should run all of VICE!
Absolutely loved this all the way through, so interesting!"
VICE Mexico followed four of the country's best skateboarders as they embark on a road trip in search of the country's best skate spots.
Why does vice only hire aging 40 year old hipsters and gender neutral children?
+Jack Ruby you are missing the point. focus on what is important my friend.
+VICE This is great! Now fire the intern hipsters and go back to your roots!!

Great video, everyone has a good vibe.
This documentary needs to be made into a movie. Good people to build a story around, interesting stories, and beautiful locations. It could be a Mexican version of Lords of Downtown.

Notice how at 27:30 he puts the trucks on the new deck and then puts griptape over the bolts.
I remember when I use to skate I used to bolts to tell me where to place my feet.
Crazy slam @ 29:50

I would really want to know the name of the blues band that can be heard sometimes while they're in the van
30:00 How did that kid go from 10mph to 0 in miliseconds
he right skating alone isnt the same as skating with friends
friends encourage you to land that trick and hype you up and tell you to go for it which if you were alone
it would be less likely to try it
its also fun etc..
god i love skateboarding
+Trap God Very true. I stopped skating because I move a lot and lost all my skate buddies :(
exactly.it's not even competitive. I wanted to see my friends land sick shit and it was the other way around as well.
+Boss Nasty (Boss Man) hell yeah. we used to mob around low Angeles ... 13 little 15 year old kids from spot to spot lol. man .... those were the days )*=

Wassup Rockers!
El max se parece a Silverio
I enjoyed this video very much. The only complaint I have is I'd like to see them be a good example for the young kids and wear helmets. These guys are adults, pro skaters with many years of experience and I respect that. They train, push themselves, but still know their limits better then kids. Pro skater fall all the time and they become used to falling. They risk their lives doing big tricks, knowing that one blow to the head can be fatal. I'm mostly worried about the young kids. Kids don't have the same metal development or physical strength. When kids see pro skaters wear helmets then kids think helmets are cool and they'll wear a helmets. I grew up skating without a helmet but I've seen way to many head injuries.
+CALIFORNIA APPROVED HANDGUNS hahaha coming from aguy with the name california approved handguns.
I only saw this video to see the infrastructure of Mexico. If you have any suggestions, please reply to my comment with the title of any video that shows me the beautiful places in Mexico.
Nice work you guys at VICE , a wonderful effort to show the real talent these guys have. But Why the hell can't RED BULL or any other sports brand sponsor these guys..and take care of them?
Damn red bull don't want to sponsor anyone out of Mexico :/ these guys have to skate the toughest and roughest terrain!
"How did you get into skating?"
"My father gave me money and I bought a skateboard and then got into skating"
