    I was blown away how many great spots there were and how many good skaters there were and how long they could skate without any problems.

    Being from San Diego and a skater of over 20 years... it was awesome to hear how Washington Street park influenced the La Carvene, that's amazing, they did such a rad job too. Hope it's still going!

    holy cow that double looked immense. Another great example of how you actually have to skate to realize how hard it is to do. That set probably looks like nothing to non-skaters, but it's huge.

    Il manque tellement de monde qui représentait la scène skate Fr, sans compter les lieux important comme clermont, grenoble, bordeaux, montpellier et j'en passe... 1992 - 1999 les meilleurs années du Skate, clairement.

    • @naggash5348
      @naggash5348 7 років тому

      Peut être tes meilleurs années, certainement les miennes aussi mais bon, faisons face à la réalité, l'industrie de vendus mise à part y as jamais eu autant de niveau et de gens bourrés de talents sur des boards que ces 5 dernières années.

    • @Smobus
      @Smobus 7 років тому

      Je ne te parle pas du niveau mais de ce qu'était le skate a sa meilleur époque. C'est pas comme si j'étais le seul a dire que ce temps c'était l'âge d'or du skate. Et puis pour parler niveau en comparaison avec maintenant je peux t'en citer une chier avec lesquels d'aucun ne peuvent rivaliser. Mais là je n'en citerais qu'un. Rodney Mullen. Y a une grosse liste derrière sans parler du fait que dans çette liste beaucoup ont inventé les tricks que l'on connaît tous. Bref, tu te plante. Le niveau est de loin moins bon qu'a cette époque et avant cette époque.

    • @phenny100
      @phenny100 7 років тому

      Sm0kusS en même temps on va pas se mentir la France ne favorise pas le skate en termes de temps. Déjà quand t'es au lycée et que tu finis à 17h t'as pas le temps et encore moins si tu prépares ton bac, voire ta rentrée dans le supérieur. Et puis certaines formations du supérieur sont vraiment chronophages comme les Prépas ou certaines écoles. Ce qui fait que du coup on n'a pas assez de temps pour développer le mouvement.

    • @phenny100
      @phenny100 7 років тому

      Sm0kusS Et j'argumente parce que a contrario dans certains pays comme les États-Unis ou quelques uns de l'Amérique latine, les jeunes ont plus de temps pour développer leurs compétences en Sk8.

    Our country once was a major colonial empire and we still got some relations ( good or bad ) with former french colonies. So when WW2 came we needed foreign soldiers from the colonies to come and help, and they also helped during the years after the war to rebuild the economics here in France.

    You can get mentally hooked to weed, but it's more of a greedy phase that you find yourself subject to when you run out and can't get any right away. This phase usually lasts only a few days and then you realize it's all in your head and not that bad at all. Once you know that you've basically overcome your psychological "addiction" and next time you run out it bothers you way less or not at all.

    You're the only one who knows weird skaters then, because the ones i know are completely sane and don't eat out of garbage bins.. Don't act like you know a lot, when you're only talking about the ones you know or have seen in videos. I'm a skater and I live in France, and i'm sure people have reacted the same to this outrageous comment. Don't talk shit..
