Reminds me of skyrim
I absolutely will do that! Thanks for all your amazing content and generosity btw. Love you two!
If you guys haven't already done it, I would love to see a video on how to make the helmet wearable- as in what to put inside so you can securely attach it to your noggin. :)
I see Optimus Prime and Bumblebee instead of dwarven helms but then again I'm nuts!

Wooow this is a meme in the cosplay community

Hahaa! You're SO right! =D

@@ThatBassistKendall Attack Corgis wearing Dogmeat Armor.
Nope, no you would never
I find myself sitting here watching the video, and bobbing my head every time Bill and Britt start to dance. Very weird but I'm not complaining
You are not alone.
Prop making is fun!
It was so incredible to see my two favorite nerds back together making foamish goodness in the shop again. It's been too long. Amazing as always and now I can't wait to try out some different designs on my own helmets! Thank you for being awesome!
Thank YOU for your fantastic support! We really appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos :)
I know. I've missed them so much.
I er uh speak for everyone in the community when I say, you two are adorable together.
@@chrismsmalley2626 So? Height isn't everything as long they love each other
IronBloodedMexican pretty sure he was joking ;)
I thought they were a couple
Gawww thanks! We have lots of fun together :) We're married for a reason!
@@punishedprops Yeah it's pretty great seeing two people have so much fun.
Remember non American folks, you can get the digital version as well to avoid the shipping cost, and it is just as good. Personally as much as I love physical books, having it on the screen while you are doing it is actually a lot easier.
So, buy their books!
True! Thanks so much for sharing!
Those are both very good looking helmets, I really like how the Dwarven helmets look so heavy. Great job!
Isn't that cool?
@@punishedprops It is! And it's a nice coincidence this came out now since I was just looking at some pics of dwarven helmets :)
The attention to detail throughout this build is amazing! The helmet looks great
Thanks so much!
Magnificent piece of work ❤
Fun as always. Watching you two having fun working on a project brought some brightness to a somewhat gloomy day. Thanks for that.
You're so welcome :) Happy our videos can make a difference
Welcome back! I’m very happy to see you both...missed you guys, and these vids! Hope you both are well and safe! Beautiful helmets...love the paint job
Thank you so much for your support!
I adore how thorough your build videos are.
We're so glad you think so!
It's always so cool when that first layer of primer, plasti-dip, paint, etc goes on a project. It instantly transforms a project that looks like nothing but a bunch of material with visible seams and noticeable defects into a smooth surface that's just screams perfection. Great job Bill.
Thanks very much! It's always hard to get to that step - easy to think it's not going right! But then bam. Magic.
Love Highlander so much!
The book is fantastic!! So glad to see you guys with a great project today.
Thanks so much!
Wonderful to see you two putting out videos again!
We're enjoying it :)
Very inspiring project has encouraged me to try a dwarven helmet.
Hey guys, I just wanted to thank you for all of the amazing content that you've put out over the years and for inspiring me! I was just recently accepted into my college of choice for "Film and Television" and "Production Design" and if it were for these videos I wouldn't have known what direction I wanted to take my life in. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. I wish you the best!
That's absolutely fantastic!! Congrats on your acceptance, we're so stoked you find our channel fun and helpful :)
Awesome Job Bill and Britt. Love the New Studio.

So cool! Last weekend (after trying to make my own template) I bought the basic helmet pattern to create Gimli's helmet from lotr for this halloween. Its my first build and I'm really exited to continue on the helmet. Your video's have been really helpful so far!

That's wonderful! Have so much fun, and thank you for watching our video!
YESSSS I miss seeing the two of you working on a project together... 👍
❤
So happy to see you again! I love the idea of adding film to the helmets, and make it into a face shield (because Quarantimes), though I'd need to find some way to keep it fog-free ::ponders::
That's the eternal struggle with any helmet with a visor! I hear helmet fans are pretty nifty!
Another way of doing the recessed parts is cutting all the was through, then gluing it back together. Then after you glue the parts back together you can run a knife along the backside to even it out. This also preserves the "finish" of the foam when you use something like foam fitness tiles. I'm not 100% sure who I saw doing that. Might have been you or Ted? But I found it to be a bit more forgiving.
We use that technique often! Super handy.
I've been looking for a good EVA foam dwarf helmet since quarantine started. Lo and behold, the gods of foam cosplay have answered my prayers at last. Great build you guys!
Aww we're so glad you're excited about the build!
Soo good to "hear" from you guys. That you both look super good. Pandemic has not slowed you down.
Thanks very much! We're doing our best! Hope you are too :)
new build pog
Helmet looks great Bill and Britt and Thanks for the shout out using my HD-Foam!!!!!
Any time good buddy!
At 6:26 you had me thinking of the "Checking the cell structure!" from Woody Allen's 'Sleeper', during the "Cloning of the nose" scene.
Fantastic build, all the 'hiding the crimes' detail...well thought out.
Thanks so much for watching!
That blue color really is pretty
Thanks! Blue is my favorite color :)

You guys are my favorite, rock on !

I love your videos been watching you for years now, and your videos make me happy
That's fantastic to hear, thank you so much for your support!
I loved the absolute adorableness that was happening throughout this video between you two. A true goals marriage. :)
Awww thanks :)
How about pushing a few pieces of long iron binding wire into the foam from the edge, parallel to the plane of the foam, then gluing the ends so they stay in place.
This would (I think) create a stiffener that would make the cheek pieces hold their shape really well?
You could also make a jig that would push the wires in - nice and parallel to the flat surfaces of the foam.
Also sharpen the end of the wire first - before pushing into place.
how did I not see this till now? also YAY! it fits with glasses
Thanks so much for watching!
Who dares dislike this video lol its amazing!! I'll buy the book soon!! So many projects so little money to work with lol
The eternal struggle! We really appreciate your support :)

Youve been an extremely huge inspiration for me and I wanted to support you! So im super excited to see whats inside the pages of book 1. Also ive just begun writing my own scifi novel! Hey that's really fantastic! We appreciate your support so much!
I would love to see a full Dwarven Armour set!
Thanks for letting us know you're interested in that build! We have our current schedule worked out, but there could be room for this kind of video in future plans.
I have literally been trying to make this same helmet for about a year now!! A modified version would go great with a cosplay I am working on!
Fantastic!
