This was one of two albums my wife and I used to use to fall asleep after a gig in the 80s. The other was Alone but Never Alone. We didn't gig together, but we both got home around 4am, and we had aluminum foil on the bedroom window and one of these two albums on.
@@michaelgregory2231 I could be on a beach, with my love, watching the moon rise, with a Blue Hawaii or Margarita (depending on where you are) in my hand. Rich.
Gorgeous. Uncle Larry said we should check you out, so I did. Picked this video almost at random ... then noticed the T-shirt ;) ... and then heard the SUPERB playing! Touch! Tone! Lovely. :)
Very kind, thank you! Buk is one of the things I miss about not living in Nashville anymore. I appreciate him sending you my way! Wander around in the videos, there's all kinds of stuff.
Thank you for your kind words, but they are not out of your reach. I broke my left wrist when I was 12 (I started playing at age 9) and ever since then, bends and vibrato have been extremely hard work for me, but I just kept at it. Keep goin! You'll get there. ☺
On point! Love the harmonics in this one. Will you do another play along with another song from you’re old album called guitaretecture I think. My dad use to have it. I grew up jamming that cd for a couple years!
So, it's my fault that you play a Telecaster? ;-{D Thank you for your kind words. At 2:35 that is a half diminished scale (whole step/half step/ whole/half. etc./
YO YO Michael, My Man, You are VERY INSPIRING.. Check out a buddy of mine from college that would love and respect your playing and i believe you would his.. P.K. Lavengood. I believe he's still playing with national act Duane Eddie. His college band was The RODS and CONES. They get together for 1 or 2 shows a year and the TRADITION spans Over 30 Years. He has a version of Sleepwalk that you would appreciate. FELLA'S!!!
My father James Teeter knew you. Everyone called you computer brains because you could play solos perfectly by ear. Late 70’s early 80’s era. He said you played a little musicianman tube amp. Times change but Jesus and great music doesn’t!

Ah! Now I see the secret of your sweet, singing vibrato, Michael.... one must pull the "Guitarist Face" to achieve it!!!! 2:08 😍
Secret's out now! Don't know about other players, but for me, the face is essential 😊
Fun to see that tune up close on the fingerboard! Golden.....❤

Your bends are phenomenal…and for me, unattainable. 😊

I'm not sure why it took so long for me to see this but I'm happy that I finally did. Very tasty playing as usual, Michael! Cool shirt too.
Thank you so much!
Nice work 2:35 very nice lift up! Because of you I started to play also Telecaster. Pinch harmonics are very tasty here.

Hi, Adrean! Thank you for your kind words! that Music Man amp would date back to around 1981. Is your father still among us?
