Nobbel, I would just like you to know that your voice and your stories help me to relax and fall asleep at night, which is normally almost impossible for me to do. Keep it up man!
You have a fantastic voice for narration and clear explanations for lore. Definitely one of my favourite channels. So keen to see all your lore vids for the upcoming draenor lore.
Another excellent video again, my Friend. Now think if the Naaru are beings of Light, and my Fires burn as bright as the Sun, does that not make you wonder?...Muh hah haha hahahaha!
Nobbel you're like the Morgen Freeman of WoW lore. I always look forward to these videos and glad that you show so much passion for something that many of the people I play with do not.
man just looked to see what I was going to watch and seen 20 min of pure awesomeness. You do the best lore videos man. Thank you for everything you do.
That was *such* an excellent video, Nobbel. I love Draenei lore and it is awesome how neatly you've explained everything. This makes me even more excited for WoD!
Nobbel, you have the best lore videos. I thoroughly enjoy all of them. Could you maybe do a video on Anveena? I find that entire story fascinating and I'd love to see your take on it.
Much respects for your efforts Nobbel., I've started catching up on Warcraft lore through youtube and wiki and out of all the channels, you explain it the best. Keep at it, I already subscribed.
Amazing videos, you do great when it comes to lore speaking. I'm shooting for the LoreMaster achievement and your videos just make me want to keep on the grind for lore.
I LOVE your lore videos Nobbel! I am a fairly new player in WoW and I'm really interested in the lore behind it, and in the attempt to get a grasp of what's actually going on, I've seen most of your lore videos because you narrate and explain stuff so well!! Especially for someone like me who at the beginning didn't have a clue about anything in the game, haha! Did you maybe consider making a lore video dedicated only to Bloodelves? Or maybe a specific character like Lor'themar Theron? Well, even if you don't, I just wanted to say thank you for all your videos, I am enjoying them very much, and I hope you'll keep making them! :)
Hey Nobbel! This video got me thinking of Anveena Teague since near the end of your video you can see her above the sunwell. I was wondering if you had considered making a lore video about her? I'm always a sucker for a good love story, and I really felt for Kalecgos when he had to let her go. Their back and forth during the Kil'Jaeden fight is just heart-wrenching and I was hoping that one day, perhaps, she'd return.
Epic lore idea* Do a lore video about the demon hunters from the burning crusade. When you killed Illidan, he told the demon hunter that she is nothing without him. She has nothing to hunt. And no one actually knows what is he talking about, people think it's just a figure of speech - but what does it really mean? It's all about their oath, their lifes purpose is to kill and die in battle against the burning legion.
Maiev was Illidan's warden when he was imprisoned. Illidan died, therefore she had nothing left to hunt so she went kinda crazy. Illidan was a demon hunter as well as some other npc's in TBC though.
I know this is kinda out of context but oh well. In all the time I spend in my life fighting Kil'Jeaden I never realised how wacky his channel animation is. I mean look at it! With the eyebrow and everything XD. Well, not much time to look at the big guy when fighting him back in 2.x Great Video tho, thanks for making.
Hello Nobbel Like Week ago i found your video about lore of god and titans in wow.. and today... my god i watched ALL your wow lore videos and i cant wait for next 1 ! i love your way of storytelling keep this amazing job up rly sweet stuffs for my years in your channel just GREAT!! :) finnaly after long time some channel to subscribe again :))) Have fun and looking forwards for your next lore video ( Video about how exactly illidan became Betrayer would be EPIC¨:)))) GL and see ya your fan from Czech Republic :)
Can't wait to hear about Elune! Also whenever you have the time could you explain the powers of the leaders. I mean story wise, how did Velen fight off the elves to overtake the exodar. How did Sylvanas fight off Arthas!? I am very much interested in knowing what the more notable characters in the story are truly capable of!
Saw this comment 3 years later and lol'd, KJ's back, and there's models for "The Lightmother" in the 7.3 PTR, both a broken and alive version, and it has a new golden Naaru model.
Im sorry that I have to be a bounder, but they way K'ure is pronounced in my language (Bulgarian) this means dick and not as a name, but as the sexual organ. Literally. Its hard for me to concentrate on the great story because "Dick! Help us!" and Im losing it. :D
Hey, Nobbel! I absolutely love your lore videos and I can't wait for more of them. Keep up the great work! :) I also have a question and I'd be overjoyed if you answered it in the comments or in the next Q&A: Princess Calia Menethil, sister of Arthas - there's no concrete info on her besides some hints that she may still be alive. Do you think it's possible that we'll see her in the game and if so, in what role?
Thank you for these lore videos i love do understand lore i don't know why but my friends call me a lore-master probably cause of how much lore i know but if u can extend out into different games i would love that.
Hi Nobbel! Great videos keep it up! I have 1 question though. (Its not related to this video), but Muradin..... i dont understand. He died when Arthas picked up Frostmourne, but he was in ICC, and he is in The Council of Three Hammers? I have read the book "Arthas Rise of The lich King" and in the book he died. So am i dumb, or am i missing something? I would be glad, if you could answer this question! :D Jasnuto
You're not dumb ;) When you do the questline in Northrend you find out that Muradin didn't die. He was knocked out and had amnesia, we find him later on with the northrend dwarfs in Frosthold. He see's his brothers, recovers and joins us against Arthas in ICC.
So here is my question this video raises, Why is the burning legion so divided? In the video kil jaden said he wants to usurp saragaras(which i have no idea how invading azeroth would do that). Then there is illiden who we see seems to take orders from kil jaden even though he seems to be against the burning legion. Also the lich king as i understand was sent by sargaras in order to use azeroth's own undead to weaken the planet for the burning legion invasion, yet for some reason kil jaden is ordering illiden to kill the lich king, which for some reason illaden tries. It seems like all of their motivations are very unexplained.
Illidan pretended to work for Sargeras back during the War of the Ancients. Sargeras was the one who burned out his eyes and gave him new ones. In reality Illidan was working for the good guys, but his plans kinda failed and his brother got all the credit. Later he absorbed the skull of Gul'dan and killed a dreadlord, halting the Burning Legions invasion. KJ walks up to him and tells him to destroy the LK or there'd be hell to pay. KJ does this because Ner'zhul (LK) doesn't want to work for the BL and he's getting to powerfull to controle so KJ wants him gone. Illidan fails, hides in Outland and works on his defenses against KJ. So it's not really divided, it's more about plans failing. It does seem like KJ wants to rule the BL instead of Sargeras, but that was just one line and he failed.
Nobbel87 i would say its more like KJ wants BL or himself because Sargerass was not seen since he got ass kicked by Lothar and Khadgar (beeng inside of body of Medivh ofc). Endless waiting for boss or just take over ? I find it plausible explaination
Nobbel! please do dungeon lores =) like how it came to be, and why we're fighitng in them im sure there are some instances that horde know of that alliance dont and vise versa!
Is it me or the Naaru really do resemble to the Transformers? Both are alien to our world, both are following their dark version (Demons/Decepticons) and both arrive just as the villains arrive on our world, aiding us in the fight vs them.
I want to thank you Nobbel for you doing theses videos. They helpout alot. But I have a question. What if the lich king fought with the burning legion on the front against azuroth and the orcs?
Anything that absorbs Souls can't be purely good. Either these things are simply Energy in a Sentient form or there is some other angle they are playing at, I'm sure of it.
"Renewed hope to all those who stand against the Burning Crusade".... Well... I remember a specific Miss Whisperwind and a young human Hero (yeah, I forgot their names again) that were against the Burning Legion and that were "out there" in "the universe" and stuff.... Maybe they got and army when they come back??
A couple questions/hypotheses. at about 4:00 we discuss how Velen left the planet of Argus and that was through the help of the crystal left by the Naru a long time ago. The only people to our knowledge so far that are that old would make them Titans or Old Gods. Thus far we know the story of the titans better than the Old Gods and that Sargeras betrayed the Pantheon and created the Burning Legion. All of the Old Gods we have met are evil and explained in the playlist earlier that they are the polar opposites of the Titans. But what if the Naaru are Old Gods not necessarily evil. The Naaru helped Velen leave, which means the Naaru are in opposition of Sargeras and since the naaru come off as all knowing and prophesying do they truly know Sargeras and his ex Pantheon brothers? If so, wheres the connection? If not, why no connection? Another thought, The naaru are the creators of the universe and everything within it, the Titans and Old Gods were both developed to keep the balance of the universe between good and bad. Going back to Sargera's deceit, he left because there were tons of demons and evil coming at him all the time, however, nothing to note it were the creations of the Old Gods. Thus where did those demons come from? I actually believe now the Naaru and another entity were created at the beginning of time. Two brothers of exact opposite. The Naaru in a primordial phase (sunwell scene) is a pure ball of light emanating from itself. I think the opposite was true a ball of pure darkness. Theres the muru scene where it's all dark and turns into a void walker. there's speculation to this if the naaru die are they voids? I don't think so but has to do with an eternal being falling between good and bad. The void keeps coming up as a place of darkness and shadowy creatures that are summon able, not specifically a Sargeras misshapen demon which they mostly come from Xoroth. This Void must be the house of the so far "unknown" dark Naaru or Daaru to be lazy. It's like the fight between God and Satan. God would be A'dal, created everything and then Satan, a close angel buddy, didn't like some of the creations and broke off with a few others who eventually created the Old Gods to combat the Light. Another possibility is the Naaru and Daaru (dark naaru) were born at the same time didn't like what the other thought and started bickering forever. Side question- In Oshu'gun the naaru was sort of feeding on the spirits of the ghosts so that it could regain its strength for the light. The orcs came to this place and declared it a holy place. Seemed to be this way for a very long time and only until Velen told them about the naaru at the bottom of the ship that they were upset. If the naaru was down there and "feeding" on the spirits how did shamanism function on Draenor when Oshu'gun was the place to go to communicate with the dead. This is like a paradox where there shouldn't be spirits there if they were being eaten all up. Also no ancestor was like, "Please Please help im being pulled to hell." Even Vellen was cut off from explaining the true purpose 8:00. Also on the discussion of shamanism, I'm starting to believe that it and the holy light of the naaru are intertwined if not one. From what I know the elemental gods were created on Azeroth by the Titans but there must be elements on all the planets thus the titans defeated old gods at each planet, and then created new elemental leaders. Thats the only way on draenor the orcs could "call the elements' or they were misguided by what exactly gave them strength. They called it the elements but maybe it was the light of the naaru this whole time. Also perhaps the Naaru are so "light" because they are the source of life and they re-consume all life. I mean come on naaru feeding on ghosts to regain its strength and glow. They're like a walking heaven (going back to god and devil possibility). One little scare i brought up in 2nd paragraph if the titans defeated Old Gods (plural after all) in Draenor then there should be some still caged underneath draenor. Now Nerzhul blew the planet up after the invasion into azeroth so highly unlikely theres any remnants of them on Outlands considering its just the crust plate of the planet. This could open up into a whole new expansion The Old Gods Of Draenor after Warlords of Draenor but its all chopped up with time travelling and I'm not Chris Metzen. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Awesome videos man! thank you for all of them and keep up the good work ! :D But i jsut cant stop laughing hearing "K'ure", for it means "ass" in my language. And its just..epic hearing the word said with so much.."passion" ." "You can call me...K'ure" haha xD
Hey Nobbel87 when I was watching Blizzcon 2013 stream someone asked Metzen about the possible return of Illidan... but just smiled and went on. But then I did some research and I found out that Demons can't really be killed. They just get sent back to the Twisting Nether until summoned by someone really powerful or they find their way back.. Thoughts on future possibilities if it happens ?
Hey Nobbel, wod question here. In the previous draneor the orcs had to advance there children's age to be able to have a bigger fighting force, do you think they will do that in wod? Or since it is a warlock thing they won't? If not how will they be a formidable foe, or atleast as much as a foe as they were in the first and second war?
There are many different religions in the Warcraft universe, but the most interesting of them in my opinion is the Holy Light. Many races who worship the Light have different interpretations of it. To the Humans it is a philosophy similar to the Jedi religion in Star Wars. The Dwarfs and the Gnomes used to worship the titans, but they adopted the Light from the Humans. The Draenei learned this religion from the Naaru. To the High Elves the Light comes from the sun. The Blood Elves lost their faith in the Light after the Scourge invasion, but got it back when Mu'ru restored the Sunwell. The Tauren Sunwalkers received their powers by worshiping the sun god An'she. Nobody knows where the Light really comes from. It is one of the great mysteries of Warcraft.
The sad moment when Nobbel says "in WoD we will learn a lot more about the Naaru".....
Nobbel, I would just like you to know that your voice and your stories help me to relax and fall asleep at night, which is normally almost impossible for me to do. Keep it up man!
You have a fantastic voice for narration and clear explanations for lore. Definitely one of my favourite channels. So keen to see all your lore vids for the upcoming draenor lore.
i love the way you tell the lore, thanks its amazing!
Another excellent video again, my Friend. Now think if the Naaru are beings of Light, and my Fires burn as bright as the Sun, does that not make you wonder?...Muh hah haha hahahaha!
For beings of such immeasurable power and Light, they sure do get drained easily
WoW makes so much more sense now, thank you for making these.
this cleared a lot of things up. Thanks for this!
That was *such* an excellent video, Nobbel. I love Draenei lore and it is awesome how neatly you've explained everything. This makes me even more excited for WoD!
These lore videos make me want to get the outlands (and dreani) quest done in wow even more. Excellent video man!
New lore-video? My night is complete as always when you release a new one, Nobbel!
Fantastic video. You often forget the vast magnitude which is Warcraft lore. What a universe.
I am enjoying your videos a lot, thanks for the amazing work!
Thanks for doing these videos. Learning a lot about the game I love to play now.
Nobbel, you have the best lore videos. I thoroughly enjoy all of them. Could you maybe do a video on Anveena? I find that entire story fascinating and I'd love to see your take on it.
Thanks for all this lore Nobbel!!
Great video, I was always aware of the lore around naaru, but nothing so in-depth. Thanks!
You do the best Lore videos I've ever seen.

Do you still play WoW?
Your videos are very informative, I'm learning alot
Hey Nobbel! This video got me thinking of Anveena Teague since near the end of your video you can see her above the sunwell. I was wondering if you had considered making a lore video about her? I'm always a sucker for a good love story, and I really felt for Kalecgos when he had to let her go. Wee Mike Yeah, but what I meant was that it sounded something like the oath of the demon hunters.
Play WC3, Maiev was CRAAAZZZY obsessed with him, in terms of keeping him imprisoned.
Wonderfull :) just wonderfull. I have always wanted to know more about the Naru, and you explained it very Well
Everytime i hear the intro music i get an eargasm. It's so mystic and interesting and it never fails to excite me! I love it :D
The Chaos Emeralds were a nice touch. I laughed. :D
Very nicely done =D love the Draenei
Your accent is quite mesmerizing, love it
Gay
I know this is kinda out of context but oh well.
In all the time I spend in my life fighting Kil'Jeaden I never realised how wacky his channel animation is. I mean look at it! With the eyebrow and everything XD. Well, not much time to look at the big guy when fighting him back in 2.x
Great Video tho, thanks for making.
Awesome video man! I love your lore videos soooo much!
Nobbel, i really love your wow lore. Ive seen everyone of them, would you consider doing a Illidan Lore Video? Please and Thanks. Decarious~Ravencrest
Great Video! Thx for the interesting lecture!
Hello Nobbel

Sky Lord Panglot omfg XD
I guess Doron figured that out already, since it's similar in Serbian.
Sky Lord Panglot in mine it sound like ass. I suppose it'd be fit that your northern neighbours have a bit of linguistic fun as well :D
Tbh I think he should pronunce it "kurey" (i think thats what they use in legion also - kurey) but anyway, great vid
Very, very nice video, bud! Especially liked your use of accent :)
Such awesome video! Keep it up!
Excellent video! thank you
I love your lore videos!
It's a rumor that the naruu came from the shards of the broken sword. sargeras wields one half of it
omg i love it
that would make them REALLY powerfull, but even for a giant sword it makes lots of shards
Aggramar wield the other half.
Any chance we can get an updated version of this?
Great job, I am totally subscribing :)
Hey, Nobbel! I absolutely love your lore videos and I can't wait for more of them. Keep up the great work! :) I also have a question and I'd be overjoyed if you answered it in the comments or in the next Q&A:
Princess Calia Menethil, sister of Arthas - there's no concrete info on her besides some hints that she may still be alive. Do you think it's possible that we'll see her in the game and if so, in what role?
Hey there! Love your vids, your voice is awesome). Please, do a video on Twillight Hammer's lore. Me and my friends would LOVE to see it)
Thank you for these lore videos i love do understand lore i don't know why but my friends call me a lore-master probably cause of how much lore i know but if u can extend out into different games i would love that.
Gratz on 100,000 subs Nobbel keep it up
Thanks for the story. Funny how I have to come to You Tube to get some lore beside what Blizz gives us. Refreshing!!!
Maybe if this video topic needs a revision. Unsure if we have enough new info tho.
NOBBEL!!!!!! another lore video!!!! love it bro!! hey, you mod the chat on finalboss stream?
I think there's even a 4th instance of this cycle: as I've heard, the crystal in Ashbringer was also a "fell" Na'aru which regenerated.
Very well done!
Hi Nobbel! Great videos keep it up! I have 1 question though. (Its not related to this video), but Muradin..... i dont understand. Why fake Nobbel, WHY!!!!
Wait, why fake what?
i love how he said that 2 years later
great vid bro keep it up
Good times :) I remember seeing this when I was quite young.
Naaru regenerate.... so they are the next evolution of the Time Lords? XD
I love this vids man. You should be proud! :D
Mind blowing video! (again) a awesome lore video!! 1:3
I believe that there is something bigger, more powerful on the light side than Naaru.
Always loved these dudes.
I really like your Lore videos... mostly because of your voice
Great video! I subbed

It was long time ago so i may be wrong but Ashbringer was created from cleansed Naru crystal in Escape from Durnholde Keep dungeon by Tirion Fordring
No, the Ashbringer was created from a void walker crystal, and then cleansed :)
Nice job!
I want to thank you Nobbel for you doing theses videos. They helpout alot. But I have a question. What if the lich king fought with the burning legion on the front against azuroth and the orcs?

This could open up into a whole new expansion The Old Gods Of Draenor after Warlords of Draenor but its all chopped up with time travelling and I'm not Chris Metzen. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Nobbel. Can you pleease make a video with FULL Sylvanas lore. i love your vids
Lore, I love you Nobbel!
Can you please do a lore video on Elune? Would appreciate it :)
looking forward to elune video
Why is Velen so small and Archimonde and Kil'jaeden so big? He's the "boss" too.
Because Velen didn't do the pack with Sargeras.
Sargeras gave them anabolics.
The Naaru have not forgotten us!
Hey Nobbel when are you posting the rest of the your Wow playtrough videos
Awesome videos man! thank you for all of them and keep up the good work ! :D
But i jsut cant stop laughing hearing "K'ure", for it means "ass" in my language. And its just..epic hearing the word said with so much.."passion" ." "You can call me...K'ure" haha xD
What language?
Hey Nobbel87 when I was watching Blizzcon 2013 stream someone asked Metzen about the possible return of Illidan... but just smiled and went on. But then I did some research and I found out that Demons can't really be killed. They just get sent back to the Twisting Nether until summoned by someone really powerful or they find their way back.. Thoughts on future possibilities if it happens ?
Yep, Pride did a great theory video on that and I talk about it in my "Council of the Black Harvest, Illidan lives?" video
He's baaaack. Heh heh
Lmao
Nice work, Nobel :) Can you make video with Warlords lore, please?
Illidan was framed for the attack on shattrath. Kaels forces are the ones who appeared there, and as we know, kael was working for kiljaeden.
Nice, I've always wanted to know the background of the Naaru :)
Make a lore video about the dwarven clans! :D
I've always thought as the naaru as being angel analogs. "The Light" used to just be "God".
Elune actually being E'lune would make me cackle all the way to the ACTUAL moon.
May the Naaru be with you Nobbel87.
Hello again, children. I am Kel'Thuzad, and I've come to deliver a warning: leave well enough alone. Your curiosity will be the death of you.
Kel' Thuzad Shut up! You are dead....
Austin Risinger Excuse me.... mortal interloper? I'm a lich. .I'll just resurrect.
