Any recommendations on how to make our 3.6 L engines last longer? I know with regular oil changes people are getting some crazy high mileage with them. Any other maintenance tips? Maybe you could do a video on that! LOL
Change your oil at most 5k miles. Don't let service shop change your oil because they will over torque your plastic filter housing and crack it, which will lead to oil leaks.
Oh boy the comment section would be a fight on a oil change or recommendation video lol. I personally do 5k mile oil changes on vehicles. Currently I still plan on using the recommended 0w20 oil as of now.
Tyler, question for you. Is it common issue for Mojave gladiators having squeaky shocks or is it just bushings that need to be lubricated. Thanks in advance
Yes, the Mojave shocks all seem to make some noise, some see to be louder and some not so bad. I have replaced a few shocks (normally rear) under warrant for customers and they seem to be less loud after install. I'm not sure how long they will remain quite though. Thanks for the view!
I bought the non winch bumper crash cans. The winch bumper crash cans have a tab that the winch fairlead bolts too. So you can’t buy the non winch crash cans to swap out. FYI since you mention it in your video.
If you think that unmodified bumper looks goofy, have a look at the one fitted to the current European version of the JL Rubicon. As far as I am aware, the steel version isn’t even an option.
Thanks for the video, I just bought a 2024 392 take-off bumper and just completed the chop. Your video made it so easy.
Much, much better looking. I didn’t realize how bad they stuck out til I saw them together!
Yes they are pretty crazy looking in person also!
Thanks for the video. Just finished doing this on my 24’ Rubicon X.
Nice, it looks so much better now!
For sure. A little sketchy/nerve racking with that grinder cutting wheel so close to the bumper. But looks so much better.

@@TylerPotter LOL, well, they say the more comments a video has it helps the algorithm!
No concerns for setting the airbags off when cutting off the cans?

Thanks for the info!
Nice, thanks for sharing. cheers
Wow didn't think anything was behind it , but it makes sense considering it's purpose
But Tyler, aren't you worried about your safety in the event of a collision!? Ha!
That's why I always wear my motorcycle helmet when driving down Kellogg
