Thanks for the video. I have a 2014 Renault Trafic LWB with the Nissan engine. Looking at how this van engine is put together, I wish the factories would make the design engineers do a few jobs like this. They don't seem to ever think of mechanics who need to repair vehicles. Have a nice day and hello from Australia.

I bet you can't wait to do the injectors on a m9r engine that's the Nissan 2.0 diesel here in the UK there an absolute nightmare. They rote in the heads and the injector brakes apart I might have a video coming up with one soon 🤞✌️

@@crankyconrods7417 I think I will leave it to a mechanic if they need replacing. I am 81 and have given up working on my vehicles ( except for van conversion).

@@crankyconrods7417 Doesn't sound like I would like to do that. Have a nice day.

Great video thanks. I have some stiff changes . 2nd and sometimes 6th. Also have the magic lights of check injection and emissions but garage said it was ecu playing up. So reset and drove brilliantly. After 2 months lights back on… and when powering in gear can hear a air noise, not a whoosh like pipes leaking but a wind noise generally. What you recommend. Thanks again

Hello matt depends on what engine and year you have there any air leaking sounding I'd normally go straight for the turbo or hoses. I had a vivaro in and the turbo hose that was completely destroyed and made little noise. You would need to check live data on bps barometric pressure sensor to see if you have boost you have ect and go from that ✌️

@@crankyconrods7417 thanks for getting back to me. It’s an m9r if that helps. I have a ProScan v350 but don’t think it’s capable of the turbo readings…

OK you have the Nissan 2.0 diesel normally a strong engine only faults really with them is injectors and cam chains. You could look to see if you have vacuum as that can make a hiss wind noise buy your self a vacuum gauge and see if it has any at all its all little things to try before getting into expensive equipment and parts ect. Iv just done a transit Di engine lacking in power and the vacuum line had perished off the vacuum pump it had egr faults and low turbo boost and few others faults they where told vacuum pump was faulty and needed a lot of work I repaired it for 30p of hose and set them on there way very happy be careful on what you told always get a second opinion it sometimes pays have a good day 🤞✌️

@@crankyconrods7417 hey thanks so much for your time and advice. It’s always been hard in Surrey to find someone straight as I seem to get messed about a bit. Did you make a video on how to test vacuum? Cheers again
