Happy new year, and... Very thank you for the massage here above in your video. But I have a question. To sell worldwide you have to speak fluently english i think; and I am a dutchie girl with the eager to speak English that supergood, but that place there i am not yet... though i have that little sparkle. The 'looking forward-feeeling' to speak more in English and learn better english in a couple of months or so...
I'd like it, because in the future i want become a ted-xspeaker (in English also; and becoming expert on 2 topics wordwide).
For now I have the idea below; could you give a light feedback on my 2024 q1 building an new businessmodelplannings?
To make video's on youtube in english about topic 1 with as a base the blog about female self-care paintingcourse/traject or groepsprogramma (and other creative and artistic subjects but with niche high-potential woman with dreams about 'the other life', namely becoming a real artist in stead of the 9 to 5 good-paying & goodlooking but not so meaningfull carriere where they have experienced a burnout) so that on this platform youtube I can experience beside the first-building a blog-by your formule. This means focus.
The dutch-topic 2 is 'griefeducation-tools for the same niche-groep but then only belgian+dutchies, I will talk about creative grief-tools that on my still dutch Instagram & Linkedin.... And build for that a dutch membership-thing-blog+site.
With the first and second topic i will figure out how to do good affiliate links, seo's (wordpress is that a good plaform?) etc. And whatabout dropshipping (or is that some other thing you do not have experienced yet )?

I wrote the blog first then added a business to it. Nothing much, just a hustle at the moment but i love to write the blog posts and cannot stop. Once it gets going, it gets going. Good luck dudes.

I would like to start using the education that I have obtained. I am closer to retirement than most people who obtain a degree. I also spent 25 years as a Cosmetologist and salon owner. I have spent the last 15 years with my current company where my job centers around technical writing. I have many ideas for online businesses. I find so many of these avenues that are full of scammers. I am leaning towards starting a blog. I am also a widow. After 8 years on this life journey, I wanted to start a blog on the subject. This video had some great content ..I like how he down plays making 10k like it’s a walk in the park on your way to 100k 😗 the tone of his voice even changed …the reality is-depending on your skill set at the onset will certainly determine how successful you’ll b and timeline-affiliate marketing can and does take years building topical authority, writing hundreds of articles within your niche and covering every angle…also, SEO,DA,links,emails ,news letter etc…plus; doing all these other skills takes time like.. tic Tok,YT,courses all of this is in addition too ..master 1skill then move on to other areas ..this was an excellent infomercial for the course this is why Adam is a good marketer…

I love how you mention passive income is boring and you want to create active income. I think too many people are selling passive income as a dream. Thank you for such an educational video. Could you share your thoughts or process on how to get the pictures of the product you would review? Especially if products are quite expensive and big.
Just remember you do not have to avoid competition if you actually understand what you are doing and you will also need to provide a serious volume of blogs to earn the authority in a highly competitive space.
Providing you build via topic clusters considering every possible term in a niche to boost your Authority. This would be a TON of Information content and then you can build out the transactional affiliates afterwards with an already earned and confirmed authority.

Admittedly, I feel a bit disheartened after listening to this video. Perhaps my bubble has been burst, I’m not sure. There is so much talk here about finding a product, using those products and or writing about those products. I want to write about self-help, helping aging baby-boomers have a happier life. Will sit with what you shared and listen again to determine if my idea has any merit. Thank you 🙏
End of this month I plan to launch my blog, so I get it. I go back and forth with myself a lot because while mine is in the area of Finance, I've niched down to helping people in the Caribbean make money online because we have so many limitations here, but it can be disheartening because: #1 I want to make sure I do things in an ethical way so a bunch of people don't just lose money, #2 I work full-time so it's a lot to handle. I said all this to say keep at what you're doing. Do at least something each day. Also your idea does in fact sound like a good niche so go heavy on the branding for baby boomers. Best of luck!
Go for it! You could always monetize with your own products or courses. Build an audience and then if you want to make money from the blog create a product for them like a happiness / gratitude journal or a video course with guided meditations (whatever you want) or you could find journals/ courses you like already that have affiliate products. The main thing when you start is not to promote too much but build an engaged audience by helping them as much as possible + start building a newsletter as soon as you can. You can also monetize the blog with ads once you have a big audience so you don't need to make all your blogs around promoting products.

I started with a theme on CSS Igniter called Spencer. Then I had a friend build a custom site for me. I'm currently doing a redesign again right now. I recommend if you're just starting out you use Astra or Kadence.

Loved the video, I found it really helpful. I've been planning on launching a blog for a while: I started working as a content writer for an agency, have a background in SEO and website management so I've got the basics covered. The one thing I'm worried about is affording all the necessary tools. Ahrefs or alternatively Semrush are quite expensive for a newbie. It's a risk and /can/ pay off if the blog succeeds, but if it flops it's a lot of money and effort down the drain :( Is it even possible in 2024 to launch a blog and monetize it to make at least a couple of hundred a month so that it can at least pay off for Ahrefs and such?

I have a question - I come from a motion design and graphic design background which is my main work. I have become anxious about doing some sort of side hustle and this fits in my wheelhouse. What if I wanted to build links with a brand or business and wrote an article about them while also doing a cool video and linking to their site - would that help the situation with getting them to link to you on their page? I did this when I started doing motion design and got some amazing clients from doing spec work. I'm thinking that just building some bad ass content for a brand on your page might help get a link on their page easier. Want to utilize what I do well to help with any future with a blog or two.

I am a professional Sommelier and beverage consultant for the hospitality business. I do plan to start a complimentary affiliate website to my more professional consultancy business website. They will be separate, but directed to my person. I have two questions for you. The first is, how limiting an affiliate website on alcoholic beverages might be on profitability in comparison another one that is not bounded by demographics and the rules and regulations on the subject? The second is, do you have any insight on where to draw a line between creating an often clickbaity SERP driven content and not wash out a certain level of professionalism content quality? A lot of suggested content that drives traffic seems specially insipid and wishy washy on this sector. And I do intend to keep some distance from it. I plan to heighten my brand, not degrade it.
I think that alcohol is a great niche - plenty of products you can write about, guides, etc. You should have a mix of some SEO content and content that’s 100% written for your audience in a professional way without SEO in mind. Focus more on building the brand with really good content, build your email list, and have some SEO stuff in mind like keyword research and link building.

As I believe that I can bring something unique to the sector, I'll give it a go. I am exploring a hybrid formula that might create a good balance between my values and ambitions and the scope of opportunities that we have to monetize our knowledge base. So, let's see how that goes.

You don't build a brand off your name if you intend to sell the website. No one will buy it anyway.

Sounds like you’re overthinking the content you want to put out and the results you might get. If it’s not that then try finding a routine that fits your schedule. And ask a friend to hold you accountable.

Hey Adam what’s the best way to create a topical map, the usual way of asking ChatGPT doesn’t seem effective so would you recommend a more premium approach like by using keyword research tools for this like aemrush or ahrefs and if so how do you would you go about this?
I don't know if this answers your question. I use Answer The Public for keywords in the form of questions. You can download a csv file which includes search volume. I have a subscription but you can do a limited number of searches free each day. Even one search will give you a csv file with dozens of heads and subheads on a single topic.

That’s a good question
Depends on how unrelated.
Make separate websites to blog about each field/industry.
If they are different and unrelated fields, you definitely have to do separate sites. The more tightly focused the site is the better for SEO. As many of the top gurus will tell you (as well as Google) you dilute your sites when you target disparate and obviously unrelated topics. Google doesn't know what your focusing on, so will rank you lower than others in those fields your in who are super focused on one overarching target.
Experience in say Employment fields? or just a topic? I think if you think about Branding you, and where you want to take that. Like how old are you, where you live, interests, hobbies and what's trending in all of these at your age and are you enjoying where the trends are taking you. Are you going for new and improved with a touch of old school? Brand is key to start, Sell you. Anyone has to like you first and what you are saying, then we will listen to more of what you say.

I’ve recently started a blog which is now monetising, I’m writing on Medium. It’s not made a lot yet but I started 1 month ago. However, I’ll likely change unless I can update this to be my URL.
This videos great, I’ve watched it more than once and I can definitely see how it’s achievable, although millions is talented.
From what I’ve read, it’s not overly difficult to earn which I can vouch, it’s the consistency and continued updating where people fall short. Often, people won’t see much more than £100 per month or so but with commitment, others earn thousands.
My question though, what’s the etiquette for freelancing? I’ve seen some good gigs but they don’t offer royalties, is it fair to ask for this? Considering how there’s a chance to write £1m + articles, I’d say yes but they’re not offered in adverts who want writers.
Do you have more than one blog with different niches as a subject matter expert? If so how do you grow your personal brand to represent completely separate niches?
